Budget Practice Area

It's nothing fancy, but this the practice area I set up in my backyard for about $150 (Amzon basics net and mid-grade mat. I can set it up, hit for a bit, then have all stowed again in a few minutes. I'm still playing with exact positions. No, I have not shanked one into the screen (yet).

Future upgrades:
1. Re-leveling the pavers since there is a slight downhill grade (not hard, just need a few hours to do it).
2. Removing the dead tree to give me a bit more space (need to borrow my neighbor's chainsaw for half an hour).
3. A canopy (its very sunny and hot where I live).
4. Maybe a launch detector? Still researching this to see what fits my needs and budget. Either way, that purchase would be way down the line. Any suggestions on this?

Given the apparent lack of depth behind the soccer I might look for a used Skytrak LM and run it with a tablet to start. It’ll give you a sense of direction and spin including lateral in your shots. I’m in a similar position to you here in SC. I really need shelter to make mine useful in the summer.
