Burley was in his prime a mid table Premier League player and hence was sold when Chelsea started improving. He was a top player in the Scottish league and was signed by Derby who he helped relegate back to the Championship. Does it sound like he is in any position to give Mainoo any advice at all?

True Mainoo has a lot to learn on how to play midfield. At the moment he doesn't understand the position. Almost all games he plays in both for Man U and England, there's usually huge gaps in midfield because he's so attracted to the ball and goes wandering to the wings and no.10 positions which is not great. If he can learn how to play the position well and doesn't get sucked in to the hype around him he will do well.
The ESPN team are clearly in the weong job. Why arent they running a top football club when they clearly have more knowledge that berrada, ashworth, wilcox and vivell? Lol the biggest bunch of moany clowns here on espn
