  1. The main reason lots of people in Brazil have lost their connection to our “Seleção” is the political association of its brand with the neofascists. Add to that the fact that our coaches have stopped in time, believing that we’ll be the best forever, since we once won 5 world cups. However, brazilian regional clubs have never had so much support as of today. Nowadays, when the “Seleção” plays we hope that no one from our club is selected, so they can’t get injured or be absent for many matches, since our clubs’ games keep on happening while players are away with the “Seleção”. A shame. I used to love watching our national team play, now I kinda despise it.

  2. Brazil just keeps declining. Ever heard of Immersive Translate?? It's a tool that supports real-time subtitles and generate them for videos in foreign languages. With the subtitles, you fully understand the video content and naturally learn a foreign language while watching.

  3. I stopped supporting Brazil because the Brazilian players nowadays are running after money and fun 🎉 instead of running behind the ball and the pride of their great country.

  4. How about this idea:
A TV show where players are locked in a training facility and get compete with each other in a multiple of types of games.

Do you think this will work as a reality show or as an exaggerated show with high-risk involved ? 😂

  5. Leave it to the germans to take the fun out of sports. The german coach even told his players to take it down a notch in the break.

  6. All imports are bettee now because they replaced domestics like in Italy. Not really convinced as brazil did win in 2002, they just lack quality clinical players these days like Italy. If this theory were true then all the stars from Europe playing in Oil league will also have an effect if europe, seeing it yet??? You cant comparr Junior to Ronaldo etc. It takes smart players to create space and a manager who want to lead that style aswell…no excuses just wait for mire superstars Brazil

  7. Brazilians don't like cheering, they like winning.

When Guga was going well, brazilians started liking tennis, when Popó was going well, brazilians started liking boxing, when Senna was doing well, brazilians started liking F1, when Daiane dos Santos was doing well, brazilians started liking artistic gymnastics of all things.

Then those went away, and brazilians went back to football, and now they don't even like the national football team, only the football clubs that brazilians will be faithful to them even if they lose.

  8. From a Spanish guy: these cycles are normal in football and I guess any team sport.
We also went through a rough period after touching the sky in 2008-2010-2012. We were kicked out embarrassingly in every successive tournament after 2013 (such as 1-5 against Netherlands in 2014) and everyone though that the glory days were over.

It takes time and a lot of work to overcome generational and style changes, but the results eventually arrive and a positive cycle may start again.

Now things look promising again in Spain after the 2023 Nations League and 2024 Euro trophies, and we see the fruits of the hard work that has been underway since the end of the last successful period. I'm sure Brazil will also experience a positive comeback sooner or later

  9. Great research for the video content, atrociously bad research on the sponsor. Apparently deleting negative comments about it too is a really really bad look, especially considering the product that’s being pushed. I hope you haven’t got into a predatory deal with these scumbags. Don’t take a deal with them again it’s not worth your credibility. 😤

  10. Today is not about football anymore is about social media, The players on the National Team are not athletes anymore but influencers

  11. There are many reasons for that, but having our most prominent players being poached by european teams when they're 16 so they can have whatever makes them special coached out of them seems to play a big part.
Lack of identity as well. Both from the players as well as the supporters. How am I supposed to support someone that never even played professionally for any of Brazil's major teams? Romário was a star in Vasco before going abroad. Ronaldo went out early, but at least made history in Cruzeiro and later in Corinthians. Kaká shined in São Paulo, Ronaldinho in Grêmio. Where has Raphinha played? Martinelli? Bremer?

  12. I know you only had a short amount of time, but would have loved it if you covered Brazil's 1982 World Cup team. Arguably the most beautiful the beautiful game has ever been. They lost in the second group stage, but they're more memorable than many World Cup winners. Their captain, Socrates, was also a medical doctor who was very politically active in Brazil, openly opposing the ruling military dictatorship at the time. He also smoked, which is just wild.

  13. Colombia has a player that trained by playing Brazilian Futsal, then he made the Colombian selection. During the Cupa America the commentators kept mention his Brazilian style one that not even the Brazilian players had. The Brazil players were training outside, but they still have so much talent inside they just have to go back to the style

  14. Another point I would like to highlight is that there are less and less Brazilian players who are known by their nicknames, which also removes some sense of mystique around Brazilian footballers.

  15. The players have been working tirelessly and concentrating their efforts to get the same shade of gray/silvery/white-ishly hair dye. Bravo brazil.

  16. Europe invested too much money in the game, therefore best players will go there and the game will develop as the Europeans will see it.

  17. Pele is from 3 Corações a city in Minas Gerais and he came to the state of Sao Paulo to try to play for corinthians but corinthians rejected him and he end up playing for Santos but he didnt came for a pour neigborhood in Sao Paulo! Buy the way great video! very well resherched!

  18. The 1972 Summit Series between Canada and the USSR was a major defining moment in the intersection of sports and politics. Would love to see a video.

  19. Do State of Origin in Rugby League next – New South Wales vs Queensland. If these guys played Rugby Union from a young age instead of Rugby League they'd easily give the NZ All Blacks a run for their money

  20. As a brazilian, I can say the after 2006 we didn't have very good players anymore. Our coaches are not so good and the journalists just pretend everything is fine. I remeber that after the match against England. Everyone in television was saying "Brazil is back. the 7 x 1 will never happen anymore. We'll beat Argentina" but our players are from Fullham, Newcastle and West Ham United (All restpect to Fullham, Newcastle and West Ham United) and England had 6 important embezzlement. Talent alone isn't enough. We put all our hope at just one player, like Endrick ou Vini and espect the they alone resolve all the situation. There's no love for football, and it's really sad. Anyway, I just wanter to see my country winning a world cup

    Sorry about the grammatical errors

  21. Europe's sports science based approach to football has destroyed the game. Playing with flair = unpredictable now the flair is gone

  22. Because we are tired of seeing Brazilian players playing in European leagues, back in the days Brazilian players played in the Brazilian league where real football is found. Nowadays everyone plays and acts like Europeans. Brazil will only win another World Cup when these Brazilian players who play in the European leagues disappear and we only play with Brazilian players who play in the Brazilian league ! 🤢🤮

  23. I feel you explained a bit the facts, but not deeply the root causes and also I was expecting improvement paths at the end. Also it's not a challenge in Brazil only, in Argentina we went through the same, and I feel the curve improved when Gen Z reached teenage years/adulthood. Because older gens were not used to loving their players unless they were local "cracks". Now with new generations who are already fans of international fútbol, players who made their fame in another countries are welcome back to represent Argentina.

  24. As a Brazilian, i can say that we all felt sorry for not having this moments with our national team anymore. This video its so accourate that now a days we only care about our own teams, as PALMEIRAS, FLAMENGO CORINTHIANS, SÃO PAULO. The only championship that we care is the Libertadores, National leagues and the World Club cup. Those are the teams that we have, that we cheer that we watch and talk about during the week. Even the people who doesnt watch football knows the national leagues and our rivalry. So when we got the oportunity of a COPA AMERICA OR a WORLD CUP we dont even know who those motherfuckers are. Honestly half of the national team of Brazil during the COPA AMERICA, i didnt knew who they were, it could literally pass by me in the street that i'dnt recognize.
