It's about time someone did a golfing for fun series. After chasing a useless dream of being great at golf I have finally decided to play for fun. I have since learned that golf is a game of accuracy not distance. I threw away the driver and play a 5 wood, I may be 30 yards behind my driver but unlike my driver I will hit every fairway every single time and then if necessary I will hit it again off the fairway which gives me over 400 yards in 2 blows. I've swapped out my irons for some eleven hybrids and now at 60 years of age I'm playing the best golf of my life because it's fun. Remember folks we are just amateurs so don't take it too serious.
