Special Bengals On The Brain From First Star Logistics Studios

Get ready for a special Bengals On The Brain, presented by First Star Logistics, from the new First Star Logistics World Headquarters and new studios in Cincinnati, Ohio.

We’ve just ended our first full year with Bengals On The Brain being on the First Star Media Group YouTube channel with much success, and First Star Logistics brought me back to Cincinnati to start work on our second year together.

It was great recording this episode from the same studio Bengals great Dave Lapham records from. Be sure to watch for a video release with Lap and me this week.

But in this episode of Bengals On The Brain, we take a quick look at what the Bengals have in store for the upcoming season, with several questions that need answers.

Be sure to like, subscribe, and share with all your Bengals friends to help us continue the great partnership between Bengals On The Brain and First Star Logistics.

  1. Your Bengals Top 100 series has been fantastic, Joe.

When you get to Lap, you have to give him a shout out for his 1983 game vs Detroit, the final home game of his career. In a game that Cincinnati won by 8 points (17-9), Lap recovered TWO fumbles that ended up preserving a total of 10 points, preserving the win. He didn't even get a game ball for it.

In 1980, while it looked as though he fell out of favor with Forrest Gregg (getting only 1 start in Week 9 vs SD), he actually was used prolifically by Gregg as a super-sub, filling in at every position, ending up with him being named Bengals' Man of the Year.

He also served as an O-Line protector for Kenny Anderson for more seasons than any other Bengals lineman.

  2. How do we go about getting the bobbleheads? Those would be awesome. I tried emailing via your website last season, but got no reply.

  3. I hope Burrow takes plenty of days off. The best way to get off to a fast start is for Joe to be completely healthy by week one. More plays under center and play action would certainly help.
