Hi I’m Rick Shiels, welcome to my channel! This YouTube channel is designed to help you play better golf, also to help you enjoy your golf more!

I specialise in golf equipment reviews, golf instruction & I play against some of the best golfers in the world!

I also want to make you play better golf by providing coaching video on all topics about golf, how to fix your slice, fix your hook, help you drive the golf ball longer, hit your irons more pure, hit your irons closer to the hole and help you draw and fade your golf shots.

I will also help you lower your score by chipping better by stopping you duff and thin chips, pitch the ball closer and also create backspin. Also I will provide you help to putt better and hole more putts!

  1. Premium clubs are way over priced. In most cases they are certainly not worth more than these Kirkland clubs.

  2. You should test out maltby TSW forged wedges. They are even more of a bargain than these at 45 with basics shafts but you can also upgrade shafts for not much more if you feel inclined and also have the lengths adjusted for free. An absolute value proposition.

  3. I switched to all Costco clubs available balls gloves etc. hung up my $3500 set to prove a point to everyone I play with. Golf fittings lie angle grips shaft torque all this BS is just that for 99% of all golfers. It’s a way to maximize profits. The consumer fell for it. I play to scratch and haven’t lost anything when comes to scoring. I do use the old wedges wasn’t aware of these new ones

  4. I have the gen1 wedges and they are fantastic! Very reliable distance and spin. They just feel good too.

  5. Biggest miss with these clubs is that they didn't create a golf brand. Nothing looks worse than seeing "Kirkland Signature" on the back of the club. Just create ANY brand and make it a golf brand. Would sell so many more.

  6. Looks good – wonder if we will ever get nwere generation tour pros fresh out of college using them on tour and winning?

  7. I played with a full box set of clubs and in three rounds broke par once, skill is what you really need. A box set will not take the place of my Miuras ever lol

  8. I love Costco everything. I buy the balls off eBay cuz I’m still not breaking 90 regularly. I’m going to try the wedges soon

  9. Its good to see that companies can put out wedges at lower prices without losing performance, i play taylor made mill grind and have gone down to 2 wedges a 54 and 58 as the cost of them are insane, I took my set into gap then just buy 2 as the mg are £189 each if i can get a deal. Replacing them once or sometimes even twice a year adds up. I will consider these in the future as i can get 3 wedges for cheaper than 1 i already looked at lazarus but they are non conforming a lot of people have told me so i never bothered.

  10. I’m more convinced these are produced by Callaway… the driver resembles the old Callaway Optiforce driver, had the same shaft as the original Callaway Mavrik retail driver as well. Irons are more unique, the wedges have a very very similar font and format on the toe to the MD5 wedges and the putter just always resembled a standard Odyssey putter… I always check them out when in Costco and they all look extremely well made.

  11. These are nice. My question is how important is wedge gapping? I have 49-54-59 now and they are fine. If I were in the market could I just get 52-56-60 without testing? is that that much difference?

  12. Dan Grieve has done some great work with your short game! Technique looks great, it would be cool to get an update on where you are at with his coaching!

  13. Let's be honest though !

Would you buy a hot cooked rack of ribs

    A rotisserie Chicken

And a bulk bag of carrots ! 😂🏌🏿‍♂️

From a Titleist fitting centre ?

  14. you can adjust your driver but why don't they have adjustable woods and irons and putters. not just a one club does all. that has been done. woods, irons with adjustable clubface angles should bring a different element to the game distance and shot shape and control.

  15. Rick, would you want to sell those wedges? If so, can I have a shot to get them please? Costco is sold out already. Appreciate the video and have a good one. Short game looks good.
