  1. Seems a lot of tent for the weight. Nice review. I’m currently debating what is best for me. I’m both a backpacker and a motorcycle camper, potentially. This tent is somewhere in the middle 😅

  2. Thank you for the demonstration. The low weight and the handlebar mount look tempting. I am used to tents that have the inner and outer combined, and found that pretty practical setting up such tents in the rain. How is that with this tent? Would lots of water get in before one puts on the rain fly, or is there a way to prevent that?

  3. Quite a bit lighter than the Hilleberg Anjan 2 I use which weighs 4 lbs. Rather than in a handlebar bag, my tent goes in a tailfin topbag on rear tailfin rack which is perfect length for the poles..

  4. What about the performance of the tent in conditions with heavy rain? 1200 hh does not seem very trustworthy? Any experiences?

  5. Note she quoted the 'minimum weight'. The packed weight is 1.7Kgs still reasonable weight for what will be a fairly robust tent.

  6. I used to have the standard 1 person version and it was a really good tent, which was totally rain proof and great for low level camping, albeit it also did well in moderately windy nights.

  7. Unfortunately why would you buy something from a company that doesn’t stand behind its products ? My msr tents “ most expensive on the market” fell apart and MSR wouldn’t do anything. Then my hubba NX with magical expanding threads poured water inside. Other tent companies actually stand behind their products at this price point

  8. why aren t you telling us that the floor fabric of the bikepack version is only 20D thick vs. the backpack version of the same tent is 30D. That is kind of a dealbreaker for some. You said it s 20D but that it is 10D thinner than the 30D backpackversion.

  9. These reported weights… Are completely misleading. It takes few seconds to put it in your kitchen counter and measure it. Packed.
I guess we are talking about 1.3kg for single and about 2kg for 2P model, but we will never know, until someone manage to weight them.

  10. MSR's tent is great, but as a person who just started working, but wants to go to the grassland on weekends. The civilian tent floating cloud 2 tent is a good alternative.

  11. The bag is nice but this iteration has the same flaws as the 2011 HP. The mesh centre ceiling just lets condensation drip in. The solid doors do not permit enough airflow in warm weather. Nice shape and space but the same old issues of other hubbas imho.
