Those saying that he needs to stop and retire are completely missing the point. He NEEDS TO PLAY MORE in order to get some of that quality back. Mediocrity has everything backwards always.

No human being at his age, with his injuries, had probably broke 90 on a muni course. What he has done is superhuman.

Played Troon a few weeks ago, it’s a tough old track.
He'll get the rust off. Nothing about missing putts says it's time to retire. More major victories incoming for Tiger. Looking forward to them.

He said he came to compete and wouldn't have if he didn't think he could win. The result he missed the cut and 21 shots behind the leader.
The great Tiger Woods is not beating or competing for championships anymore but father time is defeating him.
Privilege to still watch him play. Legacy is and always will be intact regardless

I think Tiger will play more next year. They gave him that exemption into all the signature events next year. I have not seen any indication of leg problems this week or at Pinehurst. He also has shed all the upper body muscle that he put on after the accident so he looks more like pre-accident Tiger. He even said in this clip that he needs to play more. With another 5 months to get better physically, I expect better golf from Tiger going forward. I don't think it's fair to say he's washed when he's only played 10 rounds of golf this year
It's starting to get sad at this point. He was +14 and almost in last place. He had a great run.
Either he's up on a ladder of he looks totally dejected and embarrassed
