Shooting 8-over isn’t all bad because Woods scored better than 12-other players. Cam Smith, Justin Leonard, and Ernie Els are in that group so some success was achieved—have to see some good with the bad. He’s tied for 138th but it could have been worse plus he made 2-birdies and 2 out of 18 isn’t bad but a double bogey and 8 bogeys out of 18 isn’t really good! He is Tiger Woods so the media thinks he’s great no matter what and that’s OK.
Tiger is done. He has always been crooked. Here you cannot afford to be crooked. He will never catch Jack and that was his goal. Jack will remain the GOAT.
