Eddie Clamp of Stoke City sorted out Harris good and proper after he had picked on Stanley Mathews.
Vinny Jones please don’t make me laugh
Billy Whitehurst 👍
Wot no Nobby Stiles ?
Not at the highest level, but Tony Pulis was hard. When he was at Bournemouth we (some of the fans) would take bets on how long it would take him to get booked.
The hardest player i have ever seen live was george curtis of coventry city we called him the iron man😅
Harris was a good all round player he wasn't that hard
George Best said Dave Mckay was the hardest and bravest player he ever played against
Kevin Beattie should get a mention. Could play as well.
Back when it was a mans game, not like the fairies who play today, who go over every time you go near them, they are cheats today not footballers.
Bet chant I heard was Norman Hunter bites your legs bites your legs bites your legs. Lol
I saw hurlock at his last club Fulham ,refs were booking him on reputation and not bad fouls .
I hate them all. Im Scottish 😊
George best was tough player he had to be
They were not afraid or overpaid. Two you left out Eric Cantana and Billy Bremner.
Vinny Jones just kicked out nothing hard or clever about that
That’s a decent list tbf , but you forgot a player who was double hard – Mark Dennis . Animal lol
Well, if you want to talk about that era, you can mention Dave MacKay, Peter Storey and Nobby Stiles.
