going to be different you’re going to draft quarterbacks way higher on Underdog durink best ball season yeah but for your redraft leagues where is the first quarterback do you think going to go is it going to be in the second round I think it will be um you know a lot of people always talking about pushing quarterback down drafts you don’t need to have an elite quarterback you can always find one or two off the waiver wire like last year Jordan love and Brock py these guys weren’t getting drafted in your standard you know 12 Team league where you just roster one quarterback or start one of them and they both finish as top 10 guys I I don’t like to be super aggressive getting one in the second round third round I think Josh Allen will probably be the guy that’s at the end of the second early third and then Lamar and Jaylen Herz and those guys will follow uh I think it’s very important to get a rushing quarterback if you can like a dual threat quarterback and there’s some guys that you can get a little bit later on but guys like Anthony Richardson have they’ve jumped up Jaden Danel hasn’t had a snap in the NFL he’s going in some drafts as a top 12 quarterback but uh I I like to wait uh I sometimes I like to wait until the last pick so your rankings to look at it right now you have Josh Allen at number one then Jaylen Herz Lamar Jackson Patrick Mahomes the second CJ Stroud Anthony Richardson Tony Richardson Kyler Murray Joe burrow Dak Prescott and Jordan lovees the top 10 then you’re have Brock pie Jaden Daniels Jared Goff Kirt cousins Caleb Williams Trevy Tua Herbert Stafford Baker Deshawn Aaron Rogers Levis your guy he’s my guy down there but I don’t know I is it the top four like would you put Mahomes in the class with Herz Allen and Lamar no I wouldn’t I don’t think I would either and it’s more situationally based that I just don’t think that they’re basically the Patriots now that it’s not it’s not that they’re not trying to win it’s just they’re not putting it all out there every week was even like a bit of a snap count on Travis Kelce last year he it was almost like load Management in the NBA where he he wasn’t playing as much down the stretch and then in in the playoffs he was vintage Travis Kelce those guys are on a tier in themselves because of the rushing upside and that’s it like Patrick Mahomes you just have to separate Patrick Mahomes is arguably the best quarterback we’ve seen in a long time Brady whatever on the way to doing Brady likee things and separate the real life to Fantasy and Patrick Mahomes last year was was like quarterback 15 in fantasy points per game right and nobody’s going to draft him as quarterback 15 he’s always going to be his the top five quarterback because of the name and last year’s offense wasn’t explosive like we’re used to seeing it didn’t take a step back when the first year they lost Tyreek Hill but you really noticed it last year they led the team in drops there was no downfield explosiveness to their game there was just a bunch of screen passes and that’s why they went out and got Hollywood Brown that’s why they went out and drafted Xavier worthy the fastest man we’ve ever seen in the combine like just trying to get some speed in their offense but Josh Allen Jaylen Herz Lamar Jackson like these are the guys that are averaging 20 plus fantasy points per game and you just know what you’re going to get with them because of the rushing floor even we discussed when we were talking running backs the tush push may not be there inside the offense maybe they say the same thing that they say every year with Josh Allen like let’s cool it let’s not run like a like a crazy man in the first few weeks of the season it’s just in their nature all these guys and then you get the rushing you just you’re starting with free touchdown and you’re just not really getting that with Mahomes like yeah he can run we know that but he’s not running like these guys so yeah I I wouldn’t take him where he’s going which is inside the top four of quarterbacks which leads you down to Stroud Richardson Murray burrow Prescott Jordan love I I like Anthony Richardson as much as the next guy uh I get how he could be quarterback number one but why are he and Jaden Daniels and like not back to back cuz don’t they do exactly the same thing yeah I mean I I think Richard Richardson is yeah I think they’re both very similar in terms of what they can bring to the table on the ground I think there’s more reasons to be optimistic about Anthony Richardson because of the play calling in Shane sten’s offense it’s it’s an offense that you know two years ago the Eagles were arguably the best offense in football because they ran a lot of rpos and they had a rushing quarterback Jaylen Herz and they they draft a guy like ad Mitchell they got Michael Pitman and everybody is just slotted into their normal spots now as Josh Downs in the slot and Pitman as your short intermediate type of of Runner and then 80 is going to see a lot of one and kind of play 101 because it’s a it’s a run first offense uh and boxes will be stacked but I think Anthony Richardson I think the offensive line is a touch better better weapons Jonathan Taylor’s a good back we’ve seen three games from Anthony Rich had four rushing touchdowns yeah he had four rushing touchdowns but also I think he had to leave twice in those games before he got hurt for the season so I’m looking at my projections you can go to runthe sims.com right now uh just log in like create an account with your email don’t have at runthe sims.com so I built out mine and what I thought was really interesting is that Anthony Richardson and Jaden Daniels come within two points of each other amazing well for our projections I think we have have Anthony Richardson uh third in rushing yards like roughly 630 and like 8.7 rushing touchdowns which would fall third to behind Herz and Allen uh for Jaden Daniels I think he probably lives in that 600 range 675 I have for him 687 I have for Anthony Richardson Anthony Richardson scoring one more touchdown on the ground the better value is is Jaden the guy who’s going at Pi 101 not at pick like 50 and even Caleb Williams who knows when first overall is going ahead of Jaden Daniels and like I would longterm give me Caleb but right now give me the give me the rushing floor that comes with Jaden Daniels I mean do we think that Caleb Williams doesn’t have a rushing floor uh not not like no not it’s not it’s not the same he can he certainly can run like he can tuck and run but he also has like real weapons and can throw the ball that we know I mean not that Jaden Daniels can’t but we do expect the Bears offense to be significantly better yeah and and a better pocket passer and you can he can make any throw that we know he can throw on the Run he can drop it in a bucket he can frozen rope it to you like he’s he’s got he’s got all the tools uh but he’s not going to come with the same sort of rushing floor uh as Jaden Daniels but he certainly has better weapons and I think that’s part of maybe why Jaden Janel is going after him people are like ah Tara McClaren and who Johan doson doson who I like and I think you know last year people were in on and he had the sophomore slump and he’s a good value this year I’m not ready to close the book on him but Caleb Williams has got Keenan Allen and DJ Moore and romad dun and bunch of backs who can catch the ball to the backfield offensive line is actually pretty decent defense I think is a little underrated uh so the Bears are a pretty decent team but anyways the rushing floor is is is very King so you have stoud over Richardson and you have bur and then then you have Murray then you have burrow I would consider if burrow is healthy which he by all accounts is he is right now sure yeah he is but he’s had weird injuries I think he’s hurt I think he’s been hurt every Camp yeah every camp like appendix removed calf last year of course he had the the season ending injury as a rookie he’s just had some really random injuries so maybe that’s why he’s going a little bit lower but I don’t really have that big of a distinction between him and CJ stad no very similar um I I would say with burrow the one difference would be maybe if the division it’s a very tough division you know having him play Cleveland twice who allowed what 167 passing yards per game Baltimore twice the Steelers twice uh there there are some tough games and and there have been some moments uh with Joe burrow I mean last year I I I would love to write off last year as as just being the calf and how that’s why he started slow uh but I’m actually not interested in them all I don’t there’s really I I yeah I’m I’m not at all actually I would rather wait a couple more rounds and get a guy like Jordan love or Brock pie I I’m actually shocked you have burrow ranked above Dak Prescott like are we just out on same tier same same but why is Dak going so low it’s not like I mean we we saw we the Dallas defense I mean it got exposed late in the season it got significantly worse in the second half yeah Tony Po’s gone no big deal there Michael gallup’s gone no big deal there he’s just gonna sling it he is and he was quarterback three last year and I think he led the NFL in passing aards and and passing touchdowns so it it it’s probably a little bit of an unfair r he’s on that tier with burrow in fact I think he’s I think that first tier is those rushing quarterbacks and I and I actually think this next tier could be a lot of these guys all the way down to to Jaden Daniels that that we’re talking about here but I don’t know with Dak it’s I don’t know I think he’s fine right you said it in a in a in a division where or rather like just the team build outside of CD and Ferguson it’s not a ton of weapons there but the offensive line is not great is going to sling in a ton doesn’t really come with a crazy rushing floor I I don’t know I think it’s fair I think it’s a a pick that a quarterback that you could take in the middle rounds and it’s fine sure but it sounds like you don’t like burrow and if you don’t like burrow I like either of them okay if you don’t like Dak you don’t like D I think that dak’s an excellent fantasy quarterback the guy that I think you have over ranked is Kyler Murray I think we’re like glomming onto this idea that he’s gonna like do all this running he doesn’t really and the most noticeable thing that I found with Kyler Murray last year Arizona utilized the tush push a bunch never with Kyler Murray they would bring in Clayton ton to do it yeah yeah I don’t know how much they’re going to use that in the offense but Kyler has the he has like the QB one overall potential I don’t think that he does I don’t think he actually runs that much but he already has seasons on his resume where he’s had 21 22 23 fantasy points per season that’s qb1 potential like he may not run as much as he did as a rookie and coming off the injury last year he didn’t run as much to start but down the stretch of the season he was looking like the the old Kyler and I mean you bring in Marvin Harrison Jr you have Trey McBride and I like Michael Wilson too like there’s Z Jones there’s some decent weapons on this squad and he does come with that rushing floor he does he’s going to run more than guys like burrow and D sure but I I just I I think that he’s I think that he gets lumped into Anthony Richardson and Lamar and those types of guys I think he’s significantly behind those guys as a rusher ESP he might call his own number at the goal line mhm on like a pass breakdown but he doesn’t have very many designed runs no there’s not a touch uh in in the offense it’s it’s always kind of been just like free will sort of deal um yeah he probably won’t run as he’s definitely not the same type of Runner as Lamar or Anthony Richardson he’s a really good runner actually I listen I think I think objectively like skill set wise he is a very good runner but I think that he has actually scaled that back a bunch especially since all the injuries we’re seeing fewer designed runs for him and like I said if he’s not going to be involved in the tush push which is probably now Desmond Ritter’s job on this team like they like to run it they run it at a rate almost equivalent to the Eagles it’s just it’s Arizona so no one pays attention to it right but they don’t use him and it because they don’t want him to get hurt yeah and why would they that’s what we talked earlier about the Eagles scaling back from the tush push right there’s do you think there could be a drop off for Jaylen Herz or was was his drop off in the second half of the Year all injury related yeah I think it was a little bit of both I think injury related I just think the the offense was just to vanilla uh it was I mean they’re one of the only teams in the NFL that just didn’t use motion like they just like get with the times right and Kell Moore is a guy that likes to use motion Devonte Smith has already said like they’re doing all kinds of different things moving guys around like he said I think his quote was we’re allowed to do different things uh in this offense and I I think that it just became too stale and for Jaylen Herz this is another year with the new offensive coordinator I mean he’s never gone three years in a row with the same guy so there was some adjustments last year losing Shane styken there’ll probably be some adjustments this year for him he’s saying 95% of the Playbook is new but he still has the two alpha wide receivers a good offensive line an upgrade behind you know at the running back position I don’t think that they’re going to do the tush push nearly as much but I still think he’s a guy that can get nine to 10 rushing touchdowns so where does this tier end for you so we have Mahomes stde Richardson Kyler Murray Joe Dak I assume Jordan Love’s in this tier for you so is Brock pie and Brock P’s in the tier I would have Jaden Daniels in this tier hell I would have Jared gof in this tier what you say he playing 14 17 games inside in aome there you go I mean you might have to bump him up like why is he worse than Brock pie n i I don’t think he is I think it’s yeah it’s it’s probably pretty close I mean I don’t think gof has the same type of potential if you look at love and py though those guys were quarterback five and quarterback six and I think that Detroit likes to run a touch more with utilizing both their running backs they’re not as pass happy in the red zone as some of these other quarterbacks that we’re talking about but Jared gof to me is this is I was saying earlier when we’re addressing the quarterback position like if you want to go and get Allen and Herz Lamar like I’m not going to hate you for that you got the best of the best and you get the rushing floor and the upside is tremendous with those guys then you take a break like you like Anthony Richardson fine I do like Kyler CJ Stroud is going in high stakes leagues in the end of the second early third ahead of Mahomes like that guyy is getting overdrafted I I have him ranked as a top five quarterback I think that’s where he can finish but it’s not a price that I want to pay where you can get a guy like love and Pie and Goff and what we talked about with Daniels in your LA with your last pick nobody is going to draft Jared gof in a 12 team standard yeah one nobody’s G unless you’re like drafting in downtown Detroit unless you’re yeah or like maybe you want to do a Daniels golf type of draft like maybe just you actually think Daniels will go that low I think Daniels end up being a top 10 pick in terms of quarterbacks I don’t see why he wouldn’t be yeah I don’t think he’s gonna there if people are going to say that Anthony Richardson’s a top five top six guy and use actual draft Equity to go get him they are going to once they don’t get Anthony Richardson only Daniels someone will just splurge on Daniels that’s how it’s going to happen yeah I mean when you’re looking at the the rest of the quarterbacks that’s the the next or pretty much the last guy that you can get that has that sort of rushing floor right You’re Not Gon to get it with Brock pie or or Jordan love is like 20 200 300 rushing yard they just not g to get the same type of of floor Kur cousins is not going to run Trevor Lawrence to uh Herbert these guys are not going to run you know who actually like might be next Daniel Jones yeah I I just have this weird feeling we’re gonna see a lot of Dre lock this year I would agree yeah but you’re right Daniel Jones is we’ve seen him have had like a 700 yard rushing season Once right and he was viable at the quarterback it’s like low and qb1 that year yeah so for like rushing quarterbacks like Lamar Richardson Daniels Herz Allen Herz and Allen and Kyler I think are all sort of on the same tier of how much they’re actually going to run yeah and those other three Jackson Richardson and Daniels be way above that so three then three then you’re into Daniel Jones and then it’s like momes deshun Watson Caleb Williams Trevor Lawrence maybe Drake May yeah maybe Drake May um I would expect to see him at some point I I think it’s such a mess in New England that they’re just going to throw jacobe Brett and go ahead what’s the difference I I I agree with you I it’s like JJ McCarthy right you trade up to get JJ McCarthy why don’t you just play him week one like what are you doing with Sam darnold like play JJ McCarthy but uh the offensive line is not great there’s really no weapons it’s a very inexperienced wide receiver room and I I could just see jacobe brassette playing you know the first few weeks of the Season you have Lawrence at you have cousins at 14 and Caleb Williams sandwich directly in between them I actually really like Caleb Williams as a fantasy quarterback I I get the allore of Jaden Daniels and maybe Jaden Daniels is a better fantasy quarterback especially for the upside but as we talked about a little bit earlier if he can just run let’s say he gets 400 yards rushing that’s probably what three four rushing touchdowns all of a sudden you have a guy who could have 400 yards and four on the ground and pass for over 4,000 through the air and then with the his receivers if they pass more than run which hopefully they would then you’re not looking at low 20s touchdowns you’re looking at high 20s touchdowns maybe 30 right around there with probably with a bunch of picks and things like that being a rookie but like that could be like a legitimate upside season that that that’s uh like a top five quarterback type season it’s like a Stroud season yeah it’s it’s exactly what I was going to say and it’s crazy because CJ Stroud this time last year was going as quarterback 28 but he wasn’t set up like I can’t remember a quarterback being this set up because it yeah they picked first overall but it wasn’t their pick right it was Carolina’s pick so now you’re adding you add him to the squad and the weapons that we already discussed and the veteran presence of Keenan Allen and the explosiveness of DJ Moore and Romo dun is going to score a lot of touchdowns in the league it reminds me of Mike Evans is a guy that you can just throw it up and and the body control will be there again that’s why I say that you can just wait and take one of these guys cuz they’re all on a very similar tier for me like Kirk Cousins comes with a lot of risk but if you want to take that risk I like William I like cousins a lot less than I like Caleb Williams Caleb Williams if he wasn’t hurt would you like if he if he didn’t have the Achilles and he was just coming over I may have an anti- Atlanta bias but I just feel like every single one of their players is hilariously overhyped and maybe they’re just not as good as you want them to be and I can I could coign to that I could coign to that maybe Drake London’s not awesome maybe he’s good maybe Kyle Pitts isn’t a superstar maybe he’s just good yeah I I certain certainly cosign to that why why is cousins in a better situation now than he was just Ines no he’s not I don’t and he wasn’t a [ __ ] top 10 quarterback in Minnesota he was like he was Philip Rivers he was like Fringe 12 every year yeah because he could just throw it up to Justin Jefferson he doesn’t have that anymore he doesn’t have that anymore you’re not wrong and and he’s hurt and he’s hurt uh and when we discussed before he’s got the Achilles on on the the plant the planter foot so it’s it’s not ideal uh similar system I think I’ll say that just similar system it’s going to be the shaming V stuff so he’s going to be familiar with with the system and I think that’s going to help him a little bit but yeah I would say Kyle Pitts is legit but Drake London is there’s some question marks I could have about Drake Drake London being an alpha wide receiver one and he could be good yeah that’s not the point that I’m trying to make it’s just he’s being drafted like he is a legitimate all proo who oh London London yeah as as wide receiver 10 uh in certain spots yeah cousins is actually going I think I have him ranked a little bit higher than normal I guys I’m down on like Tua and Herbert well Herbert makes sense to be down on Tua I I don’t see what’s different I mean he he just wasn’t fantastic I mean fantasy points per game Tua is sitting here he’s not even inside the top 15 as as a quarterback like what what’s going to get better for Tua he’s quarterback 20 in fantasy points per game 15.9 and the schedule is tremendously hard and if you look at the last few weeks of the Season he’s got to go to Cleveland he’s got all these cold weather games like you’re not going to want to start Tua he not I know you have to get there but we’ve already seen a large enough sample size of what Tua looks like on the road way from Miami Tua is being drafted over Trevor Lawrence and Caleb Williams and Jaden Daniels is ludic easy fade yeah easy fade Aaron Rogers or Tua just give me Aaron Rogers just give me Aaron Rogers I mean you’re going to get them much later uh but I I don’t want anything to do with either of them but if you’re making me choose between the two it would be Aaron Rogers he’s got an alpha and gett Wilson a guy in bree Hall that can catch balls out of the back field the defense is solid right we know from a real life standpoint that Aaron Rogers just has to be average I think you said it 60% of of vintage Rogers is better than what they’ve had over the past couple of years so but I I don’t want either of those guys I mean they’re both statues I’m not interested so who would be guys late so let’s say we’re playing 2qb let’s say we’re playing Super Flex like these guys at the back CU everyone’s going to end up being drafted are there guys that you like a little bit more I I know you had made mention of will Levis to me but you have will Levis behind like Stafford like I would draft Levis over Herbert yeah it’s a coward ranking I was actually thinking about this on the way up to see you and because I knew I was going to talk about will Levis and I was like why don’t I have this guy’s like quarterback 17 or 18 because I think he can finish as a top 15 quarterback and the two guys that I identified last year were Jordan love and Brock pie and Jordan love because of some of the weapons that I liked inside the offense and Brock pie mostly because of all the weapons that he has in the play calling when look at will Levis I don’t think he’s going to be a fantastic quarterback in fact I I could see like kind of like Blake Bortles where he doesn’t give the rushing but there’s some garbage Time stuff there yeah he just picked up a 30 yard run at the end of the game 30 yard run I mean we might might not see that with leves but we may see like just a lot of pass attempts here I really really like Brian Callahan as a play caller he’s he’s he’s been with some unbelievable quarterbacks and M and pton Manning and and Stafford he got a lot of of Jake Browning he changed the offense consider considerably when Joe burrow went down and Browning actually averaged more fantasy points per game than burrow last year and it worked out now you add Ridley you have Hopkins you have Boyd in the slot you have three solid weapons I that’s three decent weapons man when you look at all the teams across the league there’s not a lot of teams that could actually stack up and have those weapons jono’s good with the ball in his hands and then two pass catching running backs that are going to combin for 100 plus catches I I guess the push back on how good his receiving options are he has really good receiving options from five years ago sure a little bit older I don’t I’m not interested in any of them from a fantasy football perspective well it feels like you should be then I mean spread but commit to one of them there’s a chance that one of them is the alpha I would say it’s probably Hopkins yeah right yeah Hopkins is the one that’s going as like wide receiver 40 and Ridley’s in the mid 20s so yeah I mean Boyd is Boyd is just a a third down yeah he was a special he led the team in third down conversions he will be good for the real life team real life and yeah I mean kylean knows what he’s going to get with him and things like that but yeah I think Levis is that guy like out of all these guys that are going to Le that are going to take the jump like when you look outside of the top 20 like who could actually take a jump forward Bryce young is not going to be that guy like they improve offensively and brought in some guys to help him they they they have real NFL players real NFL players that can separate uh but he’s not going to take that leap we already know what we’re getting in Derek Car like he’s a good real life quarterback Gino Smith had is going to go that outlier campaign a couple years ago he took a step back Rogers no deshun Watson no no no thank Baker Mayfield no no what I will say about Baker is that I think he’s an okay superflex option he actually finished ahead of a lot of these guys last year he just had the best year he’s ever going to have and that’s probably fair and that entire team overachieved offensively and just expect a step back step back especially with the new OC if if you going to bet they lose the architect of their offense and everyone just kind of had I mean the only guy who didn’t have his One Last Stand was Chris Godwin was Chris Godwin yeah who I would probably expect to be better this year and everyone else is worse yeah and I I like taking Godwin you know he’s top 20 in targets and I think it’s just because they didn’t have the touchdowns Evans was great I mean he still had a thousand yards and double dig touchdowns like he always does uh I I I like to look at OC’s and things like that they have Liam Cohen in there who’s only had one year he was the OC at Kentucky last year and he was the OC for the Rams when they were trash and they brought in Baker and it kind of rejuvenated his career they had some nice moments there for him but he is inexperienced as a play caller but I think Baker is like uh I don’t know you’re number three in super Flex leagues like again he averaged more points than Tua Gino burrow Watson car like it’s not even close he’s up in that 18 17 to 18 point range where it’s like not good enough to be your single guy you maybe don’t want him as your second quarterback you have some high upside guys like will Lis potentially but I think he’s okay as like your third quarter like I would rather have him than Rogers and Watson I would not I’d rather have Watson I’d rather have Rogers and Watson than Baker this year the one that I was looking at was I mean we kind of mentioned it but excuse me got a bug in my mouth bugs all all around the studio today the season bonix or JJ McCarthy or Drake may I JJ McCarthy you because of Justin Jefferson sure that’s why but like do you think do you think he starts week one you seem to say no I think he will I I I think he should but I don’t think that he will I think Bo Knicks might just start from week one it’s possible with pton he’s gonna throw a bunch of very high percentage passes he’ll be on the field maybe he’ll run a little bit like I haven’t projected at 220 rushing yards it definitely shouldn’t be S him and we know that Zach Wilson sucks so but but Payton’s one of those hard-headed guys that he probably thinks that he can fix Zack Wilson yeah but he just he drafted this guy yeah to be his guy yeah and they also gave like some draft capital for Wilson was it was seven round pick or something I thought it was a little higher than that but yeah um B Knicks I just like do you like any of these guys more than Daniel Jones honestly like if Jones starts and he plays like Daniel Jones and he gets all of his games like he’ll be a good fantasy quarterback yeah rather suck yeah i’ would rather have him than than b and Drake May uh but but for JJ McCarthy again play calling I believe in it with Kevin oconnell he’s got Justin Jefferson he’s got Jordan Addison TJ hackinson will miss some time but he’s going to be back like he’s another guy that’s set up to to have some success like he’s going into a really good situation Rogers Watson or Stafford Stafford all right so you’d have Stafford above that range I would have them above Baker as well I’d have Baker around like Justin Herbert like 22 23 yeah it’s and it’s funny with Herbert because he has the ability to really surprise this year like you could take him and bet on his talent because you know how good he is we’re just all projecting the Harbaugh system onto the Chargers you know draft Gus Edwards they’re going to run the ball and they’ve set up Personnel to do exactly that but if Herbert is just awesome maybe he just has an awesome year yeah and and he’s going to throw the football like it’s tough when you look at the rankings and you mixing your projections and you just look at the talent of Justin Herbert and you know that he’s one of the better quarterbacks in the NFL it’s it’s really tough to gauge because he could turn out to be an absolute steel because nobody wants this guy but at the same time I look at the offense and I really do love lad makoni and I think he’s going to be one of the biggest risers in in the draft but when we get close closer to the NFL season I like him but I have so many other question marks about everybody else inside the offense like Quinton Johnston and Joshua Palmer and Canadian Josh Palmer Canadian boy Josh Palmer but they’re just it’s really tough for a guy like Herbert you’re just taking away absolutely everything that he had in the offense in in Keenan Allen and ever Eckler and Williams so it’s really tough I don’t think I want any shares of him unless it is a super flex and he and he does fall outside the top 15 17 oh oh yeah 100% And then we didn’t really talk about Trevor Lawrence who I have projected quarterback number 11 which I found really surpris boldness um it just it I didn’t even try to be bold with it it was just that’s how it shook out he runs more than you think he does he’s pretty that like he has that little bit of floor baked in which is really nice and I think he’s I think he’s better inside the Red Zone than etn it’s like just just let taaw run it in and I think he had a good off season in terms of what the team did to bring in some guys like Gabe Davis is going to continue to be Boomer bus but he’s a guy that is going to give you seven or eight touchdowns he’s going to catch some touchdowns in the in in the NFL uh this year with the Jags they got Evan Ingram who is among the leaders at in targets at the tight end position he’s a nice Red Zone threat Kirk is a nice wide receiver and then what I really like is the addition of Brian Thomas Jr who led the nation in touchdowns last year with 17 like this guy is awesome uh and he is going to stretch the field and I think it’s going to be a really nice Duo for years to come so he’s set up to have some success it’s a it’s a pass first offense with Doug Peterson and Company uh yeah out of all those guys like bunched in like like Tua and Herbert and Tila I always see these guys kind of bunched I like ta give me ta out of that group and as I mentioned he’s number 11 in terms of projections here are guys all within 10 points of each other in the same tier in my projections Kyler Murray Trevor lawence Jordan love Brock birdie all within 10 points of each other that makes sense the by yeah he’s going by far the latest of that group uh Brock pie is one of my favorites to draft why not I mean it’s he’s good yeah he’s good another year learning the system under Shanahan and again I said quarterback five he was first in yards per attempt he was second I think in completion percentage I think he was third and in passing touchdowns is one behind love and you just look at all those those Yak monsters that they have in San FR and plus in the draft what did they do they just drafted more offensive weapons uh you know personal in the first round so I like Brock pie and I feel like people are are really not into him because they don’t really see that there’s a ceiling there uh and he also had some nice rushing games towards the end of the season like a couple with 40 yards he’s he can actually run and maybe he maybe he gets more comfortable running maybe I and I think a lot of that had to do with desperation of hey I like it’s it’s when the playoffs we saw and we but we see that from basically every quarterback in the playoffs and we see that from Mahomes later in the year where we just we won’t see it in week no we see when it matters yeah we’ll see it in you week two of the playoffs yeah yeah yeah pretty sure for two quarterback leagues here guys going ADP 24 or Worse right now at quarterback so you get your two starters and then here’s your backup here’s your super Flex whatever it might be Levis Carr Bryce Young Daniel Jones Russell Wilson JJ McCarthy Justin fields for some reason is going 29th bonx Drake May Gardner mchu AOC that’s Aiden o Connell Sam darnold brassette penx Howell flacko jamus Winston so now we’re into backups yeah if you had to pick two of that bunch I guess Levis would be number one so let’s not say we have to Pi two more who are the two for you man I really think that Fields is a good pick I don’t think he is because he doesn’t play quarterback anymore that’s tough and he’s not starting over [ __ ] Russell Wilson he’s playing special St he’s playing special teams I think we’re gonna see him at some point I think we’re GNA see him at some point and we know what his upside is like it’s not just going to be Russell Wilson all year long I don’t think so I think I’d rather have Drake May if if we’re going to say at least we eventually he’s going to play well that was the next guy that I was going to pick although I did give some love to JJ McCarthy because of the offensive play calling and some of the weapons that he has but yeah Drake May has got that deep arm like he’s got the cannon there’s a lot of Josh Allen comparisons and I think it’s fair actually to have those comparisons with Drake May um I remember I think I actually G they gave that comparison on the NFL draft and Bill bich actually showed some emotion I think he was with Pat MCA he was like that was a ludicrous take like Josh Allen is one of the best quarterbacks in football he’s got a long way to go but he’s got a I think people forget Josh Allen year one he was just like oh my God you saw it but then you’re like oh my God don’t do that like this guy is TR like he wasn’t great I remember chirp and Drew in the office and when we were working together and it wasn’t until they got like digs and Cole Beasley and some route Runners that and his accuracy improved from year one to year two like no one in the history of football right and that will go down as an outli right you’re right no one in the history nobody really does that but for Drake May on a team that Des desperately needs uh something because they’re going to be playing from behind often it’s the lack of weapons the inexperience I think with some of those weapons there’s going to be some inconsistencies there in the game when he does play and I don’t think he’s going to run too I think that he is going to run because I think all things being equal Panic time it’s either going to throw it up and it’s going to get picked or he’s just going to take off yeah and if they are playing from behind he’s going to see a lot of these soft zones because guys are basically prevent against the Patriots their defense might keep them in game their defense should keep so maybe that’s wrong to think of but if they’re down by two touchdowns starting mid third quarter it’s going to be drop back I don’t see anything I’ll take off for nine yards right well they were dead last in points per game last year they can’t get any worse but the defense will keep them in some games I like pulk as a weapon like I think that’s the guy to draft in New England notario dougas I still think it is super Demario yeah just don’t see Mario go pick 170 yeah they’re Everybody’s Free in New England like nobody is nobody’s gonna cost you anything don’t worry about my guy Kendrick Bourne he’s coming back off his knee injury I love Kendrick bour Kendrick Bourne is really good wide receiver he is he’s a legitimately good real life receiver for he’s like he’s kind of like tier two Robert Woods yeah he he runs nice routes he’s get some Red Zone targets he blocks yeah I mean that’s why Shanahan had him in the offense on the field a lot when he was a when he was a Niner so yeah I mean it’s tough like May is not set up like all these other rookie quarterbacks he doesn’t have an alpha wide receiver you know and we just don’t know but I I would take the chance that when they I think they have a really early buy I think it’s week five or week six no it’s week 14 apparently yeah that’s tough yeah you SE before then obviously see because we the Vikings have a buy week six so it could be Sam darnold although I think JJ McCarthy starts the season I’m also thinking that Drake if Drake May shows anything in training camp or the preseason he will be their week one starter like if he doesn’t start week one things are going bad very bad because yeah jacobe Brett’s not going to blow away like Sam Darnell could maybe have some nice moments in Camp where it’s like okay we’ll roll with this guy for for week one but jacobe Bretta is not going to wow anyone in Camp where it’s like okay you know may was actually making some impressive throws let’s go with him I just feel like I feel like they are going to go with brassette and I think that Minnesota should definitely go with McCarthy but I just have this feeling that they’re going to roll with darnold which is yeah I I guess fantasy-wise I like Drake May more than I like J McCarthy despite the weapons upgrade obviously in Minnesota cuz I think that Drake May will be able to manufacture some of his own fantasy points but he’s just he’ll leave you on the hook with a really bad day as well but I think if you’re thinking about a backup quarterback or a qb2 or a super Flex do I really want the 14 per game from JJ McCarthy or maybe get the six from Drake May or maybe the 30 from Drake May too yeah what I was going to ask you too like if you like if if you want to draft JJ McCarthy in this range just draft d Ur sure yeah because they’re going to have probably have similar fantasy numbers so what does that do for you like if I told you that JJ McCarthy was a starter all year does that make you uneasy about Jefferson would you like him more if it was Sam darnold no I think it would just hurt Addison more like it’s I didn’t really know how good Addison is he scored a bunch of touchdowns I got I got a schedule tea time here you got got to keep those options open you got to know what you’re doing here when you’re trying to trying to log in a week in advance when the tea times are blowing up on yeah but I just see JJ McCarthy not affecting Justin Jefferson I think that he’s I mean for years [ __ ] Allen Robinson had the worst quarterbacks in the world he was a top 10 portal again yeah and just like if you have a guy who’s going to Chuck it up to him it’s going to be fine Addison was just wildly inefficient last year he just scored a bunch of touchdowns yeah and there was like a lot of busted coverage and you know deep ball from cousins to to get him the ball I agree with that take I think that the guy that gets hurt the most is is Jordan Addison and I think that JJ’s quarterback proof and then you have bonck who I do think starts from day one I just I don’t know what I don’t know enough about him and I it’s funny because I think people treated I want to put on the same level as CJ strad but this is almost exactly where CJ strad was going last year and it’s like here here’s a rookie who’s going to start in the NFL and we’re going to draft these backups over them like maybe your evaluate maybe you’re not an NFL scout yeah and maybe you don’t know what’s going to happen like I said playing with Shawn Payton High percentage passes it’s a bad team that’s probably going to be down in games and pass passing it down I don’t know how much he runs he’ll run a little bit I’m sure everyone runs a little bit yeah everyone runs a little bit he is athletic I I just don’t think he’s a good quarterback I didn’t like the pick at all actually uh for for the Denver Broncos but for Shawn pyton as a guy that we view him as a quarterback Guru don’t we I mean people do anyways is a guy that can get the most I mean Russell Wilson had a really good season last year and why can’t B next have that year Russell Wilson I don’t think attempted a pass between eight and 32 yards last year it was either behind the line of SC image or 80 yards down field yeah it was surprisingly somehow cour had a good season let’s say Russell Wilson starts week one which I assume that he is and he’ll probably play quarterback all year for them why isn’t he a good fantasy quarterback he ran two last year like he did in Seattle um not as much as his early years but towards the end he was running I remember taking his three and a half rushing attempt prop like every single week uh I do think at some point we’ll see Justin Fields but you know if you’re pitch you got a lot of faith in Justin field you want to see Justin Fields sure but they’re not going to do it why not why won’t they cuz they have Russell Wilson who’s better than Justin Fields I know but he’s not that good he’s not that good of a quarterback maybe they want to see you here’s the thing about Justin Fields he sucks he’s really bad he actively is an actively bad quarterback is he a great fantasy player yes that doesn’t mean he gets a start in the NFL I know Russell Wilson’s a little bit older if he’s not winning football games the defense is phenomenal in Pittsburgh you got to think that they’re going to be in every game and if he’s not winning maybe they decide to take a shot on Justin fields that they bought low on maybe to decide maybe the season goes completely sour walk gets hurt again the team can’t win without him maybe they decided to see what they have in Justin fields and and up their value in Fields as a trade asset or something like all these things could happen like Russell Wilson’s not the quarterback of the Future No but neii maybe he is well listen Maybe could be I I would no he’s not I would say that the move would be that even if they do suck and they have Russell Wilson then you just keep playing Russell Wilson to get a very high pick or they just put in fields and they lose anyways yeah get that high pick and and yeah it’s maybe they the uptick and his return value is higher because of it I don’t know Bryce young look Bryce young is not this bad like he can’t be that bad he was I like the stat was like 10 for 20 on passes 20 like 20 air yards down the field like wait he only had 20 attempts 20 yards down the field weren’t they losing in every game possible so I I don’t think he’s that bad I don’t think Frank Reich was just like putting him in situations not to have success because he wanted CJ Stroud uh and he didn’t get Stroud now he’s out the door but you bring in a guy like Deontay Johnson who’s not the same type of receiver you go look at his his his Seasons he’s got the outlier campaign with with Big Ben when Big Ben gave him like all of the targets I think he has like five touchdowns in his last 30 games so he doesn’t come with a high ceiling but he can separate th had over 100 catches last year and they all came from weeks three to eight and then he just yeah he just died down and I think he’s like in his mid-30s now he he got me a seat in King of the Beach last year on draftking so that was nice thanks in start of Bryce young I had Bryce young as my quarterback perfect I mean I I he’s another guy that I think could take the leap forward and be a top 20 guy next year I don’t think he’s going to be a top I don’t think he has the upside to be a top 15 guy but the play calling again we’ve given a lot of love to Dave Canalis in here what did they do in the draft Xavier Legette jatavian Sanders Brooks like they just surrounded him with talent and probably a bad draft really like probably shouldn’t have drafted Jonathan Brooks he should probably get some offensive lineman some offensive lineman protect him get some defensive players but instead they just I think it’s like they just decided listen we don’t want him to be a bust we need to try to get some offensive Talent around him and I think they did a good job in of building around him uh so yeah I mean I would rather take a shot on him you see where he is in the rankings I’d rather take a shot on him and some of these other quarterbacks we’re talking about that could just play half the season like JJ McCarthy or Drake May or Sam darnold we got Fields down here Daniel Jones like Aden Connell like just give me a guy that I know is going to start all year like man if they decide to go to Andy Dalton that halfway through the season then I would say that they’re in for a a world of hurt it’d be a bust for sure maybe the more you talked about that maybe Bryce Young’s actually the answer to this after Levis him and Levis are the two guys that I think are the biggest off season season winners for like sophomore quarterbacks that could make that leap all these other guys were talking about like there’s some unknowns with these rookie quarterbacks but these other guys were talking about like Russell Wilson and and and uh I don’t know Derek Carr we already know what we’re gonna get with them Aaron Rogers Aaron Rogers not gonna have a top top five type of season he may be middle of the pack serviceable here and there but I think there’s the unknown is exciting with with Levon yeah I mean you you made a really good point about Canalis about like what he was able to do with a wash Baker obviously better how goo Smith who the only Pro Bowl season in Seattle that year see there we go so maybe this is his whole thing I I do believe in him as a play caller I think he’s very intelligent and he got what you said the best season ever from Baker Mayfield right yeah so he he’s be good for the game maybe I would draft Bryce over Baker why not I mean do what your last pick yeah this is something that you can do and you know it’s you can cut ties of them or you can draft one of those other rookie quarterbacks like Drake May and and just roll out young until Drake May takes over and and maybe you got yourself a again super Flex League yeah got yourself a decent quarterback we’re not talking about starting this guy your 10 team one quarterback redraft here but if you do need the quarterbacks on your roster so yeah I guess I guess for me the way that we’ve talked about it Levis for late as a third QB Levis young then probably Drake May Drake may maybe D I mean Daniel Jones if he just keeps the job is going a good fantasy quarterback yeah and and if they come out and say you know he’s our guy week one starter then I will have him ranked much higher I think he’s coming off an injury I think they do want to see a little bit I mean lock is not going to blow anybody away that’s for sure uh but one thing Daniel Jones hasn’t had is a playmaker like Malik neighbors he hasn’t had a guy like this I don’t think at all like I can’t remember the Giants having like we’ seen moments from Shepard and other guys in their offense but when’s the last time they had like even they spent money on Kenny G he was trash I don’t remember last time the Giants had a legitimate wide receiver one that has the potential that Malik neighbors has he can help out a quarterback tremendously I’m trying to think in my life to plexo I know plexo is a guy that I thought about when they were winning those Super Bowls tumor it’s not Tuma Manningham had a was it Manningham yeah he you can do that uh you get Deontay early and just like oh I need to get Bryce young it doesn’t matter but you can do like a a Thelen Legette and Bryce young and it’s not awful I I actually talked with Jake that I think my favorite stack like for no money whatsoever is you can get kamarra Shahed even if you miss olve it doesn’t matter and Jaan Johnson for the four of your final five picks absolutely and I like Shahed actually quite a bit so do I I hope he’s good yeah I hope he’s good too like I think him and Jameson Williams are and Jameson’s going to cost a bit more but I think those guys and they’re not the same type of player but they’re they’re both going to be a little bit Boomer bus but I think Rasheed going a little bit later I I dig that man and he and he towards the end of the season when Michael Thomas was just away uh slant boy he was getting some targets he was getting some shots deep down the field and Derek Carr actually a pretty solid deep ball I mean he’s a very
