After prototypes were spotted in the wild earlier this year, Callaway’s new Opus wedges are set to launch on July 26th 2024, priced at $180. The wedges have already secured major wins with Xander Schauffele at the 2024 PGA Championship and Yuka Saso at the 2024 U.S. Women’s Open, along with other PGA and LPGA victories by Akshay Bhatia, Chris Kirk, and Ruoning Yin. Designed for optimal spin, the Opus wedges feature Spin Gen face technology. Callaway is also introducing the Opus Platinum wedges, made through metal injection molding (MIM) for precision. These wedges include 17 grams of tungsten bonded to the back of the topline to enhance launch and spin control.
