The Rolex Series returns to the DP World Tour as The Renaissance Club hosts the Genesis Scottish Open. This year is the third time this event has been co-sanctioned with the PGA TOUR as 75 players from both tours will compete. Rory McIlroy returns to defend his title and make his first appearance since his runner-up finish at the U.S. Open. McIlroy the claimed Hero Dubai Desert Classic earlier this year and was victorious in the Wells Fargo Championship on the PGA Tour in May. Since then, he hasn’t finished worse than tied 15th, which includes a tied 12th at the US PGA Championship and the solo second finish at Pinehurst. Tommy Fleetwood will also be teeing it up in Scotland. Across his last four starts in this event, the world number 11 has finished in the top ten on three occasions and missed out on victory in a play-off against Aaron Rai in 2020. He also claimed 3T at the Masters and has been no worse than a tie for 26th in his last six starts. Ludvig Åberg is in the field this week. The Swede brilliantly claimed 2T on his Masters debut in April and played well for a 12T finish at the US Open three weeks ago. Others to look out for include Xander Schauffele, Collin Morikawa and Viktor Hovland.

Welcome to the Official YouTube channel of the DP World Tour. Every week you can find extended tournament highlights and individual player highlights from the likes of Rory McIlroy, Justin Rose and Tommy Fleetwood. This is also the home of the 14 Club Challenge, Little Interviews, Fastest Hole and many more challenges, pranks and world record attempts featuring the biggest golfers in the world.

got to go down the left here with this club he can reach that right hand bunker he’s got the whole of Scotland behind him [Applause] well below the level of the ball makes it harder he’s going to have to really work hard with the top half keep standing still keep the legs as quiet as possible and I think the tree is in play here this needs to be struck properly right handed this is simple but this is not he could have had a whole lot worse result than that they’re right at the back of the green bound to come out scampering okay so easy to Ho those [Applause] I think this is just on the edge oh yes oh yes clutch clutch clutch brilliant part absolutely brilliant part from where he was oh no bit of anxiety here towards the bunker oh he’s all right now even in the rough no chance in that bunker gobbled up by that nasty bunker get in there quick too d and we can’t see it if it hits the face it’ll come out just to the left there he’s got to H he’s done well really well done very well not the starts the pair of them were looking four struggling for power and both the first and the second line again that’s probably 3 ft minimum sure Che on the score great part well done it’s a bogy but it’s a good yeah he does different proposition for for Bob he’s got a little draw that’s white found the bunker but that should be perfect that rough even if he makes it’s not he’s on The Fairway that’s fine long hit from there as we’ve seen other the players but he’s in good shape there McIntyre bubbling up nicely it’s a brave play at the [Applause] minute yeah you normally cut it with a drive the deck especially with a tight lie like that deep face drivers these days and he’s managed to avoid the bunk he’s in a good spot there he could have laid up with a five on but give it a crack and he has very good indeed for McIntyre anything further left could have easily caught that slope it didn’t kept it on the top side that was just a misread he hit exactly where he wanted to but it just didn’t turn realize mcar left himself this much but it is a p so he stays at 14 under two behind his playing [Applause] back at four McIntyre with a driver here Wy it’s narrow but it’s down Breeze I like this play every time I stand on this Fairway I struggled to see a shot it’s very clever but hit driver and just take what you get I think y I agree with you Wy just smash it down there you going to hit a gat wge aren’t you after a driver now as I mentioned from the perfect spot this will have some spins and needs to pitch this probably a couple yards short off these tight Fairways this is a little short slightly disappointing after that wonderful Drive 328 yards McIntyre head it down the fourth [Applause] smug B come on keep going is it going to get over the hill no what a t- shot from Madar Arrow straight always tricky ones to pick the break when you’re coming down a wondering heill and then it changes Direction around the cup Bob I love that [Applause] shot right over the flag I think he thought it was better than [Applause] that there’s a few locals wishing this one in Anthony [Applause] yeah that never came back it just went left to right and stayed there Ken didn’t it yeah and it bubbled about 4 feet off the putter it just skipped a little bit help matters keep turning to the right [Applause] get better than that on seven that bunker there absolutely perfect for ma it’s a long one too still going half a chance if you can get this all the way up there another Gem of a shot had to just draw it into the breeze which is coming slightly out of his right and nice just SP to leave yourself it’s easy to see the break just a lovely rhythm to that swing for McIntyre cover the ball beautifully two good chances there at the difficult seventh not much in this if he starts this outside the right he misses this McIntyre it’s a weird one not quite still only two behind that’s he mustn’t forget that he’s right in this it’s not the start he wanted it’s not the start was looking for you’re still right there Bobby just popping one down there using the breeze it’s always been a firm Fairway this still coming down yeah beautiful shot from McIntyre right at it for McIntyre that’s pretty good that he knew he couldn’t go over the green there had to be a little bit cautious with that he’s coming it’s coming it didn’t sto turning that one McIntyre I did well thought it was just going to tickle over it’s okay excellent shot [Applause] mcy makes his [Applause] part McIntyre aiming quite a long way down the right no couple of the Marshalls scurrying towards the ball hoping to get it past these bunkers and run this almost too aggressive out that Ken almost yeah put it in trouble on the other side of the fair out a don’t take a massive [Applause] bounce a danger if he went right at the flag and let sit down Sit is he going to get lucky no no what a bounce back to 10 McIntyre yeah he play two ways doesn’t he lobs them sometimes he he gets it riding up the face with the 60 and gets it spinning yeah pretty good this is a big part isn’t it for Bob McIntyre this for par at 10 just the start to the back line he didn’t want drop shot McIntyre back to 14 under three behind oberg [Applause] [Applause] now oh Robert oh Robert what a beauty nearly went straight in the hole my goodness [Applause] [Music] worth another look dangerous pin position when you’ll see the high shot you see how close the bunkers are to the flag and watch where it lands right it’s a little unlucky that it didn’t have a little Trickle golly gosh that looked really good didn’t it for 99.9% of its [Applause] Journey see just the other side of the little wall you can see down there on the right hand side that’s going nowhere near it there where perfect down yes me all that yep it yep keep the head nice and steady Hit It Out The Sweet Spot Run Away okay ish nicely done just can’t quite get it going can he out there certainly not like he did yesterday splits the Fairway super shot from McIntyre that’s not easy to get all the way to that back pin there on 13 but he’s done it needs a par badly yes the vies weren’t positive as I walk past him feel like he’s looking for something there’s dog who caded for Bob in that wonderful victory over in Canada needs it sort of double breaker as it happened need’s a good caddy hit the down slope and Dead shoot forward up the ripples in the green he’s got a chance everybody he’s got a chance Roar of the day rippley green as well steeply up the slope you don’t want to be leaving yourself 220 into this Breeze at the minute [Music] [Applause] suddenly the volume’s gone up a little bit Yeah amazing when you hold apart isn’t it he looks more confident and so does the crowd just leaned into it left at left I thought the bag pipes there Ed them on yeah I thought it might Inspire him [Applause] great view of it there down the hill McIntyre is it going to come back from there is it no it’s not one of those well that for me is as good as the part in the last heart would have been jumping there just do not want to give it straight back and he didn’t favoring the right hand side because of the bunkers down oh that’s just found the worst spot isn’t it probably the thickest stuff on the whole gol course that [Applause] look at this look at this from McIntyre that is unbelievable and Bob McIntyre has that for an eagle three what a shot though they worked it out he took the six thought seven was a stretch from 250 [Applause] I me just the perfect line wasn’t it scooted up and it’s just going to get closer from here fairy tale stuff huge but and it is an eagle and Scotland’s Bob McIntyre moves alongside Adam Scott dream Victory stays alive two holes to go here at Rene [Applause] s a lot of pressure on his shoulders coming into this tournament on the back of that winning Canada well he’s held three parts when he needed the most 14 for the bird he h that great powerart 15 and that one for the eagle stay away from the left there’s no future [Applause] there what in the hollow just tricky p that was a good part not easy to get it Stone there the line was great just a fraction hard it’s a smelly six-footer mik McIntyre to stay in a share of the lead with Adam Scott beautiful brilliant brilliant pop bir to win going with a driver he’s been all out attack just got to be careful he doesn’t hit it too far it’s just 80% okay Sam yeah similar to where Scott was not as good a li doesn’t look like [Music] a shot very very good shot enough attacking in it but without being too overaggressive is himself a chance gives himself a chance yes Bob McIntyre will have a putt to win here in Scotland [Applause] for birdie and the [Applause] wi goodness gracious me wonderful wonderful scenes around the 18th here at the Renaissance Club Bob MacIntyre is the toast of Scotland now the emotion hits him he’s kept it all bottled up all week and he has got the one he said he really wants he has won the Genesis Scottish open [Applause] lovely scenes aren’t they pure unbridled Joy [Applause] why don’t we hear from our champion Robert McIntyre with Tim barter Robert many many congratulations you’ve dreamt of winning this Championship since you were a little kid playing at Gren clutton your dream just came true the reality is here now just describe what you’re feeling in this moment I think I’ve lost my voice after the scream when that ball just I thought it was short um look I’ve put a lot of work into this and I’ve changed a lot within the team and I’ve just worked hard and I wanted the Scottish open and I’ve got the Scottish open and the crowd’s been unbelievable and look I got a bit of luck on on 16 that you need a bit of luck to win golf tournaments and I couldn’t believe when I took a practice swing that I heard I heard a sprinkler underneath my foot where my my spikes are and I’m like no way this it was covered and I just thought we’ve got lucky here Mike and it just it was me to be nothing happening in that round until 13 holes basically you’re three shots behind with five holes to go you hold a bomb on 14 you get the bit of luck on 16 talk to me through the putt on the last and the reaction of this enormous crowd yeah well we’re hitting in there and we’re just trying to give oursel a chance that was a job give yourself a chance and I knew it was roughly pin High cuz it was underneath the slope and in my head I just kept saying to myself that’s what you dreamed of as a kid and I done it Tim you certainly have done it you’re headed into the Open Championship with a massive boost to confidence all this lot are going to be behind you there as well just describe how you’re feeling going in there how much confidence and and belief you’ve got from this win it’s incredible um I mean next week’s a new week but I tell you one thing I’m going to celebrate this with my family friends and and everyone here I’m going to celebrate this one hard
