mild day out here and over my name’s B absolute pleasure bring this one to alongside Ryan R Ry craing game looking for this afternoon you again should be for over obviously two sides polar opposite ends of the ladder with the Tigers in third and the demons bringing up the re in seventh but with a couple of Handy ins for Adam best side today should present a better challenge in most weeks yeah certainly a few ins and outs for both teams to mcin Nathaniel solsberg up back in the side this afternoon Isaac mccm a really big out and McMurray making his way out of the team Britton Clifford Baron as well two barans coming into the lineup this afternoon Bennett and Thorp in Eddie Cole out MC Baker Kane Evans and W out for King Baron Yeah Eddie Co back to New Zealand with a few work K with his green keeping job golf course but all be back for a finals charge and then niion last week in that game against this week obviously game next week just one week I believe so couple of big outs for the Tigers but this lineup is a pretty stack one so they should be able to cover the the espe yeah certainly it’s not the uh the most important game I guess today against North Hobart but obviously still wanting to win but probably a good game for for Trent bourma to probably rest a few plays like gu Baker is pretty handy to have the week of and also Cole as Ry want to takes away so Tomkinson the first one down straight down the throw to Kieran LEL and he just bursts out of stopage just is a hot start for the Tigers good Mark taken though in the defensive 50 and they repel here web nice intercept by that man first time the Tigers have back on North overal since last year’s Premiership triumphs so a lot of good memories here for the Tigers is Brewer bu a strong tackle went head to-head with Sam sigin last week and kept sigo relatively quiet by his standard so set for another big game today lavel got it from Tomkinson The Brew High Up and Under footy goes down in towards ashin they can’t win it out demons repel now through the Midfield good tackle applied there they’ll get a stoppage on the wing they will as luy gree just tries to break away with the Umpire will say let’s bring that one back so hot start from the Tigers what can the demons do here so it looked like it was Bing him at the bottom of that pack there umpire will throw it back up Tomkin Ste game last time these two teams played round 14 I believe it was ha kick out just in front of keing does well just to bring ball to ground pack just forming and see another ball up so very early stages so far no team really taking any ground Tomkinson Miller again just kicking to a teammate and now they going to repel by way of solsberg ball just tracking trickling inside forward 50 solsberg sets it to the top of the square caver was just there and Miller will want to rush it over Clifford will get the first Rush behind of the afternoon by so once I can identify who that is I’ll get a name for on the the end didn’t so St play two other games you on the live stre today derby down at the tip CL No Mitch Robinson today though laid out with some I guess stuff outside of foot deal with so show for the bombers today while the other game is the other Derby B you’ve got leston and North leston up at Windsor Park obviously bit of a clash with the AFL game there at Utah Stadium between the Hawks and the Dockers so not too sure how many they’ll get out at WS given there’s some AFL in town but always a cracking game between the two Rivals up North so plays halted here still both teams have come in to I guess just reassess as we’re only what a couple of minutes into this game three minutes gone so they’ll come towards the bench now Premiership coach Trent Bourn Ur his side towards him and but I might just if you want to take over I might just look back on the vision on the replay and see exactly who this player is and what went down yeah absolutely so this this game is really going to be won a turnover they conceded 77 points last week North Hobart so not a very good display of effort where kimra he scored 55 points through turnover if you don’t mind last week against Lord hell so just coming back into the huddles right now but the game’s going to be one turnover a really good turnover team I guess with kingb taking on a a very good at conceding turnover team in North hob so looks like it was Ambrose Burton that went downo came down holding his shoulder in the end so might be a shoulder concern for Ambrose came down nasty as he went up to apply a bit of a spoil so hopefully doesn’t look it looks pretty nasty on the replay but fingers crossed it’s not as nasty in the aftermath he’s clearly one of the players in that defensive 50 especially in the absence of uh ly gadomski been away I believe in Europe on a holiday the last few weeks so Ambrose has really taken a little bit of a step up when he has played TSL footy B so one that they won’t want to uh be missing a whole heap of footy in the back half of the year yeah looks like someone is on the phone down there so probably assume we get an ambulance great to see Mark Beck back in the coaching ranks down he was obviously the former coach of Hobart so he’s just ring the troops obviously a really big game down here at North Hobart it’s a pleasure to bring it to you not quite sure how much foot we’re going to see this afternoon if this is the occurrence if you cast you one back to the stj F finally was a pretty unfortunate injury where the ambulance had to come on the ground all be it late at night so I’m sure we’ll get a bit of foot in this afternoon but yeah I can’t imagine we wouldn’t get this game underway at some point but I think uh as soon as I can get Ambrose off the ground they’ll um re obviously excuse me restart this game but to be fair he has not moved one inch yet Ambrose Burton so guess as we said heading into this game this will be the final time these two sides meet B in the TSL so obviously North Hobart probably fair to say no chance to make finals now given that they’ve only won the one game for the year and we’ve got I think about seven games left so to take some kind of Miracle for the demons to cause a bit of a upset and charge up ladder towards September so this will definitely You’ think be the last time these two sides meet in the Tasmanian State League obviously they’ll join the SFL Premier League competition next year which will house the five current Southern teams and Brighton from the SFL but definitely the last two time these sides will meet in this competition they’ve really put together a bit of a healthy rivalry over the years obviously really I guess came to a head when Trent bu who was involved at Hobart C back in the day as an assistant coach got the head coaching job down the twin ows and a few players headed down the highway with him from memory will Campell one of those Blake Grant Sam d a few ex Tigers joined him and really pumped up this rivalry in the Years Gone by it’s probably dissipated a little bit fair to say in the last three or four years given the the turnover players at both clubs but from memory in the the late 2010s B 2015 16 17 um it was a fairly Hefty rivalry back in the day so clearly these two sides haven’t liked each other in the past but as I said a lot of turnover in these two list since that time yeah certainly really interesting point is that coach Adam best coaching from the box today we usually see him down on that boundary that’s why Mark Beck will be the senior assistant down there on that boundary line but interesting what he’s got to say at the moment just they didn’t look too bad North Hobart just going forward but solsberg obviously putting that one to the top of the square at all happened it was a hot start really early so it’s funny you mentioned that word b hot start this is an interesting one you see the North players now just going through a little bit of a warmup these players obviously come into this game and 3 minutes in they’re going to have to basically do a whole restart to this contest because they’ve been out there for 3 minutes not much play is actually taken place so it’s basically a whole restart to this contest so you can see kingra now heading down towards the Ford 50 they’ll go through another I think you could say a pregame wmart here they haven’t played much foot yet nor hob will stick close to the bench but yeah obviously you said a lot of outs today for both sides Nick Baker Eddie Cole the big ones for King BR crane Evans and W A couple of debutants from this season that have made their senior Deus and have been in and out of the senior side but they went back to the D League today Tigers went down in the end B I think to North H in the development league so the D’s despite the absence of Coach Brad Tilbury and a few other players that have come up to feel little bit of avoiding the senior side given the injuries they’ve had to deal with this year they’re two their twoos continue to fly in the D- league so bit of an unknown situation rbow we hav’t had to deal with this a lot this year think they might be heading looks like they might be heading in so you can see coach Trent bour coming out with his side obviously Mark Beck looks like Adam bester may be heading down from the coach’s box so I’m try and get an update at ground level on where things sit here it’s a very peculiar situation we’re in it’s pretty lucky that Brian that it is only three minutes into this game and you’re not going to have to reset a lot obviously 3 minutes you looks like I think it’s fair to say both sides will heading to the chain rooms and I think it’s fair to say we’ll probably be awaiting the arrival of an ambulance for Ambrose bton because he has not moved so we’ll might take a short break on the call given we’ve been rambling for a few minutes now so we’ll take a short break on the call and we’ll try to get some confirmation on where this game sits but I assume what will happen is that we’ll wait for an ambo to ambulance to come to North Hobart um you know look after Ambrose Brewer to make sure he gets first three minutes with a pretty nasty injury which looks like an arm injury from the replay and Bo we just received an update from competition management M what can you tell us yes so Ambrose Baron I believe is a popped shoulder down there at ground level 10 obviously there was a pretty uh similar incident last uh around the couple around a couple weeks ago I’m Tongue Tied but a couple of weeks ago in the old schols it took them 3 hours in ambulance so hopefully it’s quicker than that but as soon as they get uh Ambrose off the ground or the ambulance come they give him some pain relief they get him off the ground 10-minute warmup for each team and then we’ll be back in the swing of things on so fingers crossed we are’t here guess for us it’s not really any concern the major concern sits with Ambrose BR and so fingers crossed to that man that he’s not waiting as long for an ambulance so we’ll break here on the live stream until we have some kind of update on when play will restart but screen you obviously see some trainers and and support staff and and ambulance and paramedics now on the scene for Tigers Defender Ambrose buron who looks to have gone down on the replay don’t want to pramp anything obviously as I’m not a doctor but it looks like a pretty nasty broken arm as he came down on the landing so the good news is that the ambulance and the par ambulance Sor has arrived and Par working on him now looks like he’ll be transported to the hospital momentarily and we should be able to get some play underway here but obviously the immediate thoughts are with Ambrose and his health but it’s um not I guess a situation we used to being in but um as you said 3our weit a few weeks ago in another local footy game so good to see that um I guess to given the proximity of of North L to uh the Royal hob Hospital in the city it was good to see the ambulance here in um some pretty short time frame to um attend to Ambrose yeah definitely it definitely is R it’s great to see the ambo they do a great job obviously and I think it’s great that we’re just taking our time here there there’s no rush but obviously a women’s game after but great thing about these Southern Tasmania games is there’s still the lights available which is probably the smallest issue that we’ve got but um just really I guess curious to see how this is going to affect his his other brothers harrian and Marty really I don’t think I’d be worrying about football to be honest if my brother went down like that on yeah it be definite worry sorry Eric concern for the ters coaching staff TR B and support staff but you think that with the I guess the experience and maturity in that group you might get a guy like a Loy Clifford or Jack Tomkins and Bon Le be to give some support and guidance to um Ambrose’s two brothers out there and they’ll hopefully be able to come out here and continue on with the game and as you said Bo clearly they thoughts will be elsewhere so it’ll be interesting to see how I guess the Tigers restart this game as I said we’re only 3 minutes into the action when the injury went down so an update will be uh once Ambrose is cleared from the ground it’ll be a 10-minute warm-up period between um Ambrose leaving the field of play and and play race starting and then we should be ready to uh to return to some action here in North High overal yeah this looks like he’s getting up on that bed now obvious I guess the the the last thing we’re thinking about in this situation is the game and I guess correct yep but the the thing that comes I guess it’s it’s not a you don’t want this to happen to anyone but North hob they don’t have a big really key forward so I guess they can really move the magnets around there King bur really manipulate that but um you don’t want to say this with anyone is it just gets on to that hospital bed now but you don’t you’re right Bo this is probably from my memory one of the nastiest injuries we’ve seen I guess in the past few season in the T so there’s been a lot of over the journey um obviously the one that’s Springs to M for me is Corel all those years ago atal with his leg but this one obviously looks like a broken arm I want to say with Ambrose BR and I’ll get some confirmation on that from Tigers coach Dr bore postgame you can read that tomorrow in the Mercury so hopefully we’ll have some postgame confirmation about where Ambrose’s hell sits but fingers crossed it looks like as B said he’s back up on the stretches so no doubt he’ll be transported away to hospital in the next few minutes and fingers crossed he’ll get the care and attention that needs to um to make a full recovery it’s great our local footy I guess brings people together it’s great to see both both uh flock both trainers I guess from from either team out there obviously everyone working together is really great thing and you never want to see this with anything but they’ve been really prompt to be honest Ryan like obviously you wouldn’t get this scenario many times you probably wouldn’t practice it a lot but I think the north Hobart uh the management staff um the team manager and the ground manager have been really PRP and Swift on on what they’re doing at the moment I have you can see a North Hobart support staff there just trudging across the field of play so I assume he’s heading into the Tigers rooms just to give the Tigers fellas an update on where play sits as we said once Ambrose is transported off the field of play and into the ambulance both teams We Believe will return to the field of play for a 10-minute warm-up period as they would do before the game and then we should get play back underway here some score updates for you from around grounds five 5 and A2 minutes gone in the second quarter up at Windsor Park in the northern Derby and it’s all North onest and early in that game the latter leaders leading that one 40-6 while the other Derby today is the the Eastern Shore variety over at the tip no MIT Robinson for that game but despite the absence of Robo uh back into the bombers lineup laale lead that one quite comfortably at the minute 30 plays 86 and a 7 minutes sorry gone in that have too many big names so should be comfortably getting the job done there should be a big week of footy up there you’ve got I believe the two Co Talent League Devils uh sides and me the girls and the boys will kick off the action uh of the day up at Utah next Saturday and then you OB have the women’s game will follow in the uh early afternoon and then the late arbo I think a 510 start for the men’s team so a late start and uh a a really a smer sport I should say of local sport up in Lester next week you’ve also got the tnl Tasmania Niall League Grand Final will also be played I think at 7:00 on next Saturday so if you’re Northern based Tasmanian you’ve got your choice of sport next week as we see the Tigers boys now run back out on the ground so obviously their thoughts will be with week obviously round 15 today we’ll have as as you mentioned before we’ll have the competition by next week for the State game and then that’ll roll us into the last seven weeks of the Season as we look on the ladder I guess it’s been a one horse race so far this year North L have beaten allc comers 12 in a few teams have challenged him at times but haven’t been able to uh to to I guess be on on top when it mattered Clarence today obviously Playing Lord though sit comfortably in second spot with a 10 and two record they sit three games ahead of the third place Tigers they sit 7even and five with a pretty healthy percentage but when you look in four spot Bo you’ve got lorded right on their Tire with a 6 and6 record and a healthier percentage than the Tigers the Tigers at 115.5 n while Lord 126.80 so I guess we we might look at the bottom three in a second bow but the race of that top four for the finals is really going to come down to these last seven weeks of action yeah definitely spot on there Ryan glenor the percentage of 60.9 so whether they can make the top four I don’t the big think so the water 6 and six with a percentage obviously you set of 126 so that percentage Gap is really going to cost him but guess if you win games you you don’t put yourself out of the run to the final uh the final round obviously L North you can scrap them off they’ve been pretty poor this year to be honest but um I think I think it’s a a five team sort of yep really hard to definitely still have a chance I think I think um speaking of Josh Arnold during the week obviously they’ve got the buy this week they’ll obviously have the B again next week given the state game you think potentially probably only Harrison Gunther plays in that game from the magp unless something drastic was to happen at selection for Tasmania so a lot of boys will have a two we uh I guess bu period of of some rest you’d think Jay Bowden potentially back post by so that would be a handy in word was that he sure was also going to try to get back to V after his one-off appearance here a few weeks ago so if you can include the likes of Jay bod and he’s sh in the buildup to uh finals as you said by they sit two games out of the top four currently they sit 4 and eight with a percentage of just 60.9 but as you said that percentage currently for lordal at 126.80 with a two game buffer so the’ have to get on some kind of run but as you said definitely not out of calculations as we I guess shift our Focus From A Team perspective to an individual individual perspective you look at the Hudson medal count Harvey Griffith is uh got a three-goal lead currently at the top of the Hudson medal table he’s the north on forwards kick 40 goals for the year second place is uh sorry I should say second and third place a couple of Clarance players you’ve got Josh green after his six goal hul that we called last week he currently sits on 37 but obviously no no green GRE today for Clarence out with an ankle injury so greeny will miss today Bryce alom sitting in third spot with 30 goals and then raning out the top five you got Brandon ly from the bombers with 26 and Tyler Carter who’s out there today with 24 so you look at that Hudson medal leaderboard b a lot of different names in there um and fair to say Obviously Tyler Carter been around the competition a long time but I guess apart from Carter and green a lot of young players in there which is good to see Li lies and griffith yeah your main key forward there’s only three main key forwards in there for me Sam sigin Carter and and griffi sorry alom Sig in there at six and also but to Carter sigin and I guess Al are the only three key forwards they small forwards with green Lan been high rounding out the the sort of top five to six spots so really interesting competition I’ve love the season today Ryan to be honest it’s been it’s been one of the closest in recent memory I’ve only been covering it for the last few two years B obviously been a long time fan but uh when you think about the history of this competition as I said restarted back in ‘ 09 a lot of a lot of uh I guess a few seasons there in the middle patches sorry in the late 2010s it was a very topheavy comp with teams like your lorder Dales your lest your North lest and your clarences but this year it really feels like uh even though you know you’ve got North hob just the one win gleni and Lonnie at the bottom of the ladder all those teams have been able to challenge uh the teams at the top of the ladder throughout the season so it definitely feels like one of the closest years in recent memory so obviously a disappointing I guess year given that it’s the final year of the competition and it’s also probably one of the closest in memory but as we know a bit of a restructure coming next year with Tasmanian football the five southern TSL teams will join what’s being branded as the new SFL Premier League they’ll join they’ll be joined in that competition by current SFL Club Brighton so that’ll become a six te comp while Weston and North Weston will join the ntfa after they were accepted into that competition a few weeks ago so bit of a restructure ahead for all these sides but um good to see I guess from a kingra perspective during the week Bo that Tigers prip coach Dr B has put pen to paper on a new deal for next year so he will remain at the Helm of the Tigers as they head into a bit of a new era in the SFL Premier League in 2025 I’m a much bigger fan of the six team competition I don’t like the fact that in this competition we have the teams playing a bar every week it’s obviously the best competition in the state you want to have the best teams out there playing y every week but you’ll be be really interesting to see how all of the north on on the ntfa You’ probably assume that a few of those North ones Premiership Heroes would probably finish up possibly like Good Year and yv obviously BR Cox good year has a bit of a dual Ro issue as a coach with uh with the AFL Tasmania Talent program so not too sure where uh CG’s foot6 post this year obviously a lot of uh I guess a lot of EX lest players have also Departed the Blues in Years Gone By Post their Premiership success back to some local clubs in the ntfa competition so potentially a lot of those guys could come back to your lones or your North lonnies now they’re back playing Regional football um so very interested to see how things shape up in the north of the state come 2025 and when you look down here at the south of the state given that uh these teams will merge into the yeah I think you’d be you’d be uh okay to assume that there’ll probably be some pretty heavy player movement within the SFL between the two comps between the premier and the regional divisions next year given that I know a lot of players from the kingra side originally from Signet so you might see a little bit of a a mix up between a couple of the sides from down the hway also Gori and Claremont might have obviously they’re both in that northern northern suburbs region of Hobart so you might see a little bit of play movement there potentially uh you could even see B in the past few years we’ve seen a lot of exoi players shift over to the old schols competition and play for some virgin so could potentially see some X magpa players come back now that I guess that uh factor of having to travel up north once every once or twice every month is uh eliminated from their their footy schedule so it’ll be interesting to see how things pan out in 2025 but as I said we’ve still got this round of footy a state game next week to come and then the last I think seven rounds off the top of my head of the Season following that play finals so and we’re set for a bit of a cracking finish of the Year by as I said one of the closest years in memory we’ll take another short break here on the call and uh as you can see both teams have reset in the illness today and Jack dillian also out with illness so Adams kicks it into the middle it’s a real chaos bow Tomkinson just off the hands of him nice little scooping Hass off from keing hot start early James kicks it out running it over there with solsberg confirmation that he was in the allo last week didn’t get too much of it he’s looking to play a little bit more of impressive R today sandri just over the head of leaf Heber and he out there was Cleaver left Heber just to the near face of the goal out on the full Ry so been in good form the last few weeks Thomas Leaf he up for the demons he really led the Resurgence they’ve had in the middle part of the year as I said challenge a few teams only got the one win a couple of weeks ago against lones here on their home deck but they’ve had a really good patch of footy in the last month as Adams kicks out can’t find Tomkinson well spoiled there by Charlie Meadows and it’s going to go straight back inside 50 for the demons and the good marks being taken just on the want to say 40 m outb by the man in the 62 and that’s Jack Miller so Jack Miller will have the first shot on goal here at North Hobart oval sorry a set shot I
