ABOUT THE EGA
The European Golf Association (EGA) is a non-profit organization. With 50 member federations, made up of national golf authorities in the European Zone, the EGA aims to further promote golf at the highest level of amateur competition, strengthen the unity of its members, and coordinate best practice for the development and sustainability of golf throughout Europe.
The EGA organises and coordinates over 20 European amateur golf championships and international matches for elite amateur golfers every year in collaboration with its member federations. The EGA also administers the World Handicap System (WHS) in Continental Europe and assists members with its implementation.
England and Germany are the two remaining gold medal contestants in the European girls Team Championship Germany produced a solid performance against Belgium as England emerged Victorious from an epic battle against Italy the contest between Italy and England was the only one in which the morning forom ended up on a tie Ma deell and Alice Alexandra Negroni won match number one four and three but England Charlotte noton and Amilia ju replied with a success on the same green a few minutes later meanwhile Germany was able to get on top early against Belgium first point of the day was scored by um Berner and Mari Agnes Fisher six and four Antonia Steiner and lilan Buller brought another win to the Germans in match number one giving a steady advantage to the side the domination continued in the afternoon singles although Mir wans was able to bring a quick point to Belgium but needing only two wins to move on Germany punched its ticket to the final thanks to Antonia Steiner and Mari Agnes Fisher way more dramatic was the outcome in the other semi-final Italy put themselves in position with a 4 and3 Victory by guya vya aktis and a success by mati De Parell after 19 hes but the momentum then shifted back towards England Amilia once scor her side’s first point of the afternoon on the 17th before Charlotte Norton beat Geneva coopa in the last match one up this meant the contest came down to the outcome between sad Adams and Parisa pendino who CT off the first 18 hor all square but a tremendous iron shot from Adams on the first playoff hle set up a big chance to end the match insane I can’t believe it yeah I’m I can I’m I’ve got tears in my eyes yeah no it’s great I mean the pressure was insane coming down the 19th but I handled it well and I had my Cy on the bag and then I just knew that I needed to get it done I think our team spirit’s up now especially after this win is definitely helped and I think we can get it done
