The PGA TOUR heads to Scotland this week for the Genesis Scottish Open at The Renaissance Club. This is the third straight year the PGA TOUR will co-sanction the event with the DP World Tour, with around 75 pros from both tours competing. Rory McIlroy returns to defend his title and looks to become the first ever back-to-back winner of the event. The Northern Irishman has claimed T15 or better in his previous six starts on the PGA TOUR, including victory at Quail Hollow two months ago. Xander Schauffele also tees it up this week. The 2022 Scottish Open champion has 11 top-10 finishes in 16 events this year, as well as claiming his first major at the PGA Championship. Collin Morikawa is also in Scotland this week. In seven events since claiming T3 at the Masters, he’s made T16 or better, including T4 at the PGA Championship. He also finished solo third here in 2022 and T6 last year. Others to look out for include Viktor Hovland, Ludvig Åberg, Tommy Fleetwood and Justin Thomas.

Windam Clark has been making a run today seven under on his round and that’s tracking no car for you and John Ellice on the bag but that’s was an absolutely beautiful shot there Windam Clark going deep this is for birdie yeah Richard Mansel AR he shot 61 earlier that gets Clark to eight under on his round now Ros oh right at it what a shot likes that left Ru oh and he does whoa almost landed it in the hole good second shot there for more this is going to play a lot shorter than a y just suggests need to bring it from just on the green excellent shot from Scott now such a little left to right for Scotty here to also make it three in a row what he does some we have three tied at the top all of a sudden up sloping Li helps a little bit but not much found that bunker at eye level how about it oh yes how about it indeed can he duplicate Rory’s birdie yes it’s two tws here at the 14th he’s at 14 under very important t- shot for Adam Scott play a little pressure with the birdie here yeah it’s way up in the air oh yeah what a shot from Scott tap that in to move to 17 under and take the lead with oberg in trouble one hole back you know if the Scots have got the long sleeves and their arms folded it’s getting chilly they’re a Hardy breed there are still some out here with short pants on though come on now Bobby Ma got to warm them [Applause] up he’s won the Italian Open and the Canadian open can he add the Scottish open and that could be huge as well with Scott in a bit of trouble at 15 feeds down the ridge here this is pretty good very good that is some far from the [Applause] steps got it way up in the air and the sound was tremendous oh What About Bob that for eagle [Applause] never in [Applause] [Music] doubt Sky High hey inside 20 ft for the title for the title yes great Scott McIntyre takes his National open [Applause] [Music] [Applause] I wasn’t sure I was ever going to get there but they’re storming toward the green it’s an amazing scene here at The Rance Club A 333 finish here and in Canada saw so many putts from this length drop this one crawled to the finish for that moment you always dreamed of yeah absolutely and kind of reminiscent to that moment with Nick Taylor when he woned the Canadian open last year both players holding miraculous putts on the 18th Green Oh dripped into the cup in a most dramatic way [Applause] it’s just impossible to get your mind around what happened these last 40 minutes the Eagle at 16 aided by having a sprinkler head interfering with his stance in the rough thanks for watching the PJ Tour on YouTube for more videos click here to subscribe click here
