off to a fast start at the par for first rolls this in for birdie and then Lanny takes advantage right highlights he made eight birdies over a 10-hole stretch he birdied three then he birdies four let’s make this three in a row how about the birdie at the par 3 Fifth and it’s a very nice simple putting stroke yeah par 5 seconds getable for almost everyone Jerry did not get there but hit a nice pitch underneath the hole and handles this for birdie four that’s two in a row for Jerry keep it rolling over at the third yeah 25t yeah down the slope got to be careful with this look at the pace just drips it over the front edge just beautiful really well done it gets within a shot of the lead Steve Stricker after a par at the first got hman two rolls this in for birdie that gets him to 7 under par yeah he had a long uh Eagle putt on this hole left it well short but gets that one to go so a good start for the leaders here he’s such a prolific ball Striker and he’s used to winning he’s won a lot of golf tournaments in his career PJ tour PJ tour Champions he’s won he’s won PJ tour Champions Majors bounce back with a birdie coming up the hill swinging to the right got to watch Roco media’s putt to give him an idea how about Jerry Kelly he’s birdied four of the first five holes and Jerry now two back and a makeable birdie at five has this at six pretty nice stroke right there he stayed right in that one the entire way that was good that’s a great hold to birdie oh good putt good putt nice read good Pace I mean he’s going to end up dead behind something at some point in time Carlson’s t- shot at seven great shot in here at that par 37th I think he’s staring right down the barrel here little eight iron he’s rotating really well which is keeping the ball from turning over as much right at it again just underneath the hole perfect leave that’s an uphill putt with not much break now at the seventh Choy for birdie up the slope did he hit it yes KJ all of a sudden has the putter working at this point in time well he told me today that he’s had Rich reom has he I mean normally I wouldn’t recommend that i’ think you should be reading yourself because the caddy doesn’t really always know the pace you want to hit each putt over at the 11th after a birdie at the 10th Mark hensby for birdie and turns it in so hensby over at the 10th Paul stanowski playing his second I don’t 42 yds coming up the hill not much room right of this hole very Gable though with a good iron shot well there you go and that’s a good iron shot and it was getable great shot by to 11 and Tim O’Neal playing his second even on his round today one under for the week center of the Fairway hocas up the left hand side on 11 don’t see that a lot but beautiful shot in here by Tim O’Neal into just a couple feet see if Tim O’Neal can pay off that nice shot and he does so he’s one under on his round today moves to two under par Michael Wright making the move of the day has this putt for birdie at 13 and pours that in and Michael Wright is eight under par today we’ seen some good shots here at 10 got to pull the right Club get it on that back right Shelf if you can do that the whole location is accessible that’s an 11 that’s good shot there 11 for Kelly Jerry Kelly for birdie at 11 and Jerry now in a share of the lead at seven under great shot in there takes advantage of it 12 as we mentioned 175 the day whole location back right center and that’s a really nice play there by Carlson in right below the hole got to take advantage of this shot Bob this is a beautiful play in here and he does so Carlson now in a share of the lead back from that knee injury looking for his first win off to the right yeah has a good lie has to Spight it down just a little bit from 134 that little left hole location kick to the right it does what a golf shot really nice yeah great kick in there right behind the hole that is a terrific shot by Stricker playing his third shot at the par five again they have the te’s up at 16 guys have given it a rip and that’s well judged he’ll have that for birdie now over to 11 Stricker for birdie and that is a wonderful birdie by Steve Stricker and a great bounce back for the defending Champion now y e Yang second into 18 y five underrun his round today 10th in the Schwab Cup standings coming into this week and Y Yang will have that for birdie to shoot a 6 underp par 64 Perry’s still right in the mix y e Yang for birdie at 18 bounces that off the flag sticking in so y shoots 64 today danowski second at 14 14 has been very difficult today there’s only been three birdies at 14 Michael Allen y Yang and Cameron Percy look at this oh oh go in well that’s what you got to do you got to drive it in the Fairway then you can go flag hunting and it kind of just shows you you know the golf course and the conditions Phil What About Bob Estus second into 18 didn’t think he looked like he liked it but oh my oh my hello how about that Bob Estus with an eagle from the Fairway at 18 John Cook you got to like his chances here yeah pretty good lie going uphill pretty basic pitch shot oh yeah good call there BP good call that was not on tape people that was a good call by Bob Papa that was live Ernie El’s missed the Fairway left this is second if you got to miss the Fairway this is the place to miss it left side of the Fairway way it gives you a decent angle to this whole location oh great in for Eagle for El a one hopper and that gives Ernie a share of the lead have aler five over today yeah he just has not hit a fairway but how about it there we go he’s had a pretty good attitude though he’s been chatting a little bit he’s not I mean I’m sure he’s discouraged with you know how he’s been hitting his t- ball and one’s even better Robert Carson bogey three here in round three and on moving should come out with a little overspin oh flew pretty good go in go in well you got the call from somebody behind him somebody behind called go in and they were right how about that that was Trucking too that was moving at 14 and 18 Stricker pitches in and just like that Steve Stricker has the outright lead at nine under heading into tomorrow’s final [Music] round Stricker pitches in at 18 which means he’ll carry a one shot Scot lead into the final round over Ernie Ells and Robert Carlson Carlson looking for his first win on the PGA tour Champions El’s his first senior major two-time Champion Jerry Kelly AJ Troy and Michael Wright will start today three shots back
