Golf grip question

I got really used to swinging and griping my clubs “wrong”, although I was able to adjust my swing to make it more proper and “normal” looking I tried to adjust my extremely strong grip and it completely messed with my whole swing. For the past month I was trying to get rid of my extremely strong grip but decided just to go back to it since it wasn’t affecting me too much control wise and when I went back to it I didn’t feel comfortable griping it that way anymore and it just made me lose distance, control and my swing is pretty much back to square one. I feel completely lost and I know lessons are an option but before I try that I want to know what I’m doing wrong with my grip so I can try more swings at the range and then grab a lesson. The first picture is what I was trying to make work and the second picture is how I originally gripped the club, the third is an adjustment I tried to make but got the same results. Gripping the club just feels off with the “proper grip” and I feel like I can’t get my right hand to sit over my left thumb correctly. Also I wanted to know if my wrists should be at a relaxed angle or more hinged at the start of the swing (last pictures)
