welcome back to the channel today we’re going to see if a scratch golfer like myself has what it takes to beat a PGA Tour player like Grayson Sig let’s go very special guest Georgia Bulldog back to back national champions playing a N9 hole match how you feeling today I’m feeling good yeah it’s going to be a great day a little Breezy here at the plantation course in Sea Island but uh looking forward to it awesome it should be a good match 126 so front pin so you kind of you don’t want to be short it’s a little bit into the wind it’s actually a lot of bit into the wind I mean I’m in center of the green maybe short actually wow that wind’s strong this is honestly the first shot I’m hitting with my new T 24 56° it’s drawing a bit towards the center it’s pretty good I think the wind kind of got that a little bit you I’ll take it 20 footer uphill right out of the car huh yeah right out of the car right out the car guys a 20 footer for birdie no biggie all right we both have pretty good looks I’m going to give Grayson like a little read here give me that read nice speed there that’s good ball did not want to go right did it it really it kind of creeped right towards the end wow that just stayed straight what I loved it I absolutely loved it look so pure dude all square through one can y’all get me a Grizzly sponsorship throw throw that plug in there can you guys get me a Grizzly sponsorship yeah all right this looks like a pretty straightaway hole I’d hit it in the left center of the planks you there thank you that was smash turn over stay a hair short turn over you’re deep buker yeah how far do you hit it I carry it like 294 fiveish 294 295 I’d say that’s pretty good for a little for a little short fat guy it’s not bad 115 back flag into a breeze it’s probably I got like a whole negative inch a roll there oh no I got quick sit I missed the green left not too bad not really position a I got 115 as well I wasn’t aggressive you got about 100 foot putt yeah when is mauno going to start making rakes they make everything bro I wouldn’t be surprised if they dropped like the rake 3,000 next year the St rake the St rake I went off the grain here guys I got a little bump and run actually to that back left pin that’s on like dude that’s on like the top top nugget there yeah I don’t know if that pin’s even like legal to be honest oh he went with the oldfashioned bump and run very nice touch can I get the speed right set very nice that’s good there little knee knocker on second hole you know you know it’s something to wake how you feeling over this she feeling pretty good or I’m feeling a little bit nervous I I feel like as long as I just started over my line it should go in absolutely look at that barely caught the right Edge man I thought that grain was just going to get me that went in right there and now it’s in the bottom of the hole nice butt thank you man all square through two I like I like how you just don’t like waste time you just kind of step up and hit it yeah have you always been that way I always have yeah I feel like the faster I play the better you know what I mean it’s like really the more the more I just like sit there and like think about what I’m doing and like I don’t know I mean it’s just you got to simplify the game in my opinion all right 180 into the wind I’m going to go at it with a six iron here jpx you you play the jpx too right I got the jpx 99s these are my babies Oh old school had these for a while I like it the 23s are sick too they look great once you find something you like but yeah I don’t I’m not a big changer like if I find a set of clubs that I like like I’m I’m sick to him you throwing in here tight on this hole that’ be you’d be doing something oh kind of a stripe kind of got up in the wind a little bit C the wind I I’ll take that though I mean that’s on the green yeah that’s a good golf shot nice that’s such a good swing dude oh best of the day for me so what do you do do you normally just play One Shot shape yeah so I’m uh I mean you know unless you AB unless I absolutely have to cut it unless a whole like you know a draw is not going to work here yeah then I’ll try to hit a cut but like if I like you know this shot I’m I’m definitely going to try and start it right and bring it in with a draw so I play my best when I’m drawing it pro players out on the PGA tour 98% of the time they probably had just have one shot shape and then just control their trajectory yeah see that’s that’s all I do normally I mean I’m not worried about which way I’m curving it yeah I’m uh I’m just the only thing I Really Ever to control is the TR of it you know it’s like TR TR so tiger TR oh very nice couple good shots dude look at that flag dude that is ridiculous they got FL not even on the green they got the Mickey Mouse flags do you guys think you’ll think he’s going to make it think he’s going to make it one of us are do holy swing that thing like hit it and it if you get it if you get it too far and hard it goes off the green right right oh it’s up the hill that’s what you got to do though you can’t like well I mean you get a little too aggressive and it gets going like there and it’s off the green yeah that’s that’s ridiculous what the guy’s just hooping all these six Footers the Left Right six I do that with some Authority cuz I mean if I miss it who cares right yeah all right we’re all squir through three so far some pretty good golf into this wind like it’s pretty windy out here it’s pretty tough to tough to score all right this looks like a pretty straightaway part five yeah straight away second shot could be a little harder okay today just cuz there’s some bunkering up there okay into the wind but fire down just kind of straight you see that like bunker kind of in the distance yeah by the green yeah up there kind of by the green right there’s your target all that will play or five one of us should make a birdie here I would like to think I would hope so nice that’s so good dude that’s the thing that I noticed between like tour pros and like where where I was at like like division one CIF players like how high you guys hit it yeah it’s actually insane like PJ tourent well I mean it’s kind of one of those things like you learn to you have to hit high with some spin because yeah mean we play so many events that the greens are so firm and like you have a tough time Landing like it makes you really think about think your way around a golf course cuz like a lot of times if you land an eight iron that’s you know kind of coming in low with no spin it sneaky goes over the green I’m just going to probably try to get it up there as close as possible this probably isn’t the B smartest play I’m going to try to hit it kind of over the left Center of that right bunker and if it goes in one of the bunkers I’m just going to have to take my stupid decision and move on stay right there pretty good yeah that’ll work yeah that’s sick good shot dude that should work as long as it gets over get over yeah barely dude Rim’s playing some golf he’s here woke up we’re here I woke up today 95 dude back pin over that hump back flag into the wind this is like what would you do here so I have my 60 100 right so how would you bring down like a 55 degree here like a sand wedge to like it down yeah this is this is kind of a really hard shot because like you’re you’re going to try I mean you can’t get a 60 there I mean the 60 is not the right shot I don’t think unless you know cuz we’re it’s hurting you only hit 105 yards you got to think it’s going to spin once it lands on the green right so you’re going to try to bring down a 56 maybe to kind of keep it out of the wind but like you can’t hit that too hard because it’s not spinning that much yeah and you don’t want it to go too far so I just try to hit a normal shot and almost let the wind take this one does that make sense really just yeah so I mean you got 90 95 yards probably playing what at least 10 at least 11 of HT yeah 11 at Le I’d say you want to land at 97 so yeah I mean I think it’s like a 100 I think it’s like 107 yard shot just just not good just not good that was struck solidly though just a little bit to the right you’re going to have to have another up and down here get back there ah that was not good at all we’re playing some good golf right now dude this is a tough shot uphill over this little slope goes downhill to the hole if I get this within 10 ft I’ll be happy set set ah yep that is uh that’s a tricky one oh what speed control I can teally one putt this whole still I two you can technically zero putt still yeah zero putt true wow I kind of thought it would go a little back right that’s what I thought too grain’s pushing it that way now you got me confused center of the cup love it it’s almost like he gets paid to do this love it let’s go all right we got like a 440 part 4 into the wind pretty easy oh no hang in there hey it’s hanging it’s hanging hold that’s heading left not good hold that’s going to be a fun shot over there in the Oaks if I’m if I’m in a tournament right now I’m definitely just just going to hit it low and just cuz I know like I would know that bunker is not the end of the world yeah I mean the shot that I’m about to try and get up a hair is definitely not smart because I could certainly hit this right tree ball could go anywhere I could certainly hit the left trees and ball could go anywhere especially on the PJ tour it’s almost a game of like who can make the least mistakes yeah and so it’s like listen I’ve already made one mistake to hit it here like bogey is not the end of the world so it’s it’s just it’s kind of like well you know let’s get this back in play and have a chance at at four right yeah oh oh no oh it clipped the last three no way it CLI the last one dude that was so good if that didn’t hit it so I have uh quite a bit of a different shot than uh Grayson over there I got 190 I think I mean this place is not hard he’s actually really good look at that that’s the club look at him unreal you almost made it that was so good did you see that that was pure the guy I’m playing just hit an absolute Pearl in there same time I can’t be too aggressive so I’m going to try to you know put a little pressure back on him to have to make that putt you know short ah yeah I’m in trouble oh hit hit something did it help it oh good good butt let’s try to make this one huh did he hit it wow smart play smart yeah I kind of had to do that I you kind of had to that’s good yeah okay well nice four dude that’s a hell of a four from I was at out so Grayson makes his own tea markers back here just Kidd they have the Grayson te’s back here actually yeah let me throw some wind up definitely off the left off the left right I think it’s just off the left oh no that was a little Healy too a sneaky Fairway Bud a sneaky Fairway I noticed you do your waggle you kind of go like this yeah I mean that’s just kind of like I’ve just always kind of grow that’s just kind of my yeah I would I wouldn’t say it’s released it’s more like my trigger does that make sense yeah that makes sense like just a couple Waggles and then feel it and kind of kind of Smash I like it old that is heading left our trees you see a ball Jimmy see a ball right there is that yours that might be mine I got a lucky break yeah you did right in the directly in the middle of the Fairway right on the down swing just didn’t phase him did not phase him go in dude that had to live out that one almost went in that had to live out I had to have it what a freaking shot bro that is insane he so casual I hate these guys they’re like they hit like a foot like 2 in and yeah whatever the 166 I’m going to hit a nine a little downwind I think the wind’s going to help it a bit little too much looking good though cutting a little bit too much I don’t know is it short I don’t know what is there there’s a bunker short ride I think it might be in the bunker oh no okay I’m a God out of the bunker so we’re good dude it Liv out I’m tell you out it might have lipped out I saw like I saw like the ball kind of like disappear for a second disappear for a second and then come back out okay what now oh dude I I’m telling you it lipped out it like burned the edge a little bit like ball lands here and probably came back to like here and start rolling this way yeah you know what I’ll take it a two would have been very cool but I can’t complain about a tap in birdie um wow I thought was going to left what a good shot though that was incredible thank you not good enough though not good enough on this hole Dam thanks for the assist good good four thank you sir you’re alive I’m good the bunker I told you see there we go all right we got 150 from what I learned on the last shot it seems like the wind is just coming off the right here I don’t think it’s helping that much so I’m going to play it the number here like maybe 150 147 is but definitely not going to be any less than that drawn trying to the wind kind of getting it you’re putting H look at this folks go in the hole why not me that’s a one no oh he flushed it dude I just I literally just pinched it so hard he absolutely flushed it right over the hole I’m honestly very interested um what made you like choose Muno like what’s your Muno story so my Muno story is when I first moved down here I needed a new set of clubs and just wanted to get fitted to make sure my equipment was great yeah you know starting a a professional golf journey and um I came to the club fitter here and um I was like listen I’m going to have no bias here I’m just going to I want you to fit me for you know whatever is best for me numbers wise feel look yeah and we went into mauno we went into the driver and we went into the um the same IRS I’m playing now than the 919 jpx tours oh you f in the driver yeah and so it was it was like from the day I got fitted it was like that’s that’s it and ever since I’ve I’ve played zuno my entire professional golf career do you want to go first I will bring her up bring her on up ends good for you yeah ends cool all right uhoh oh wow hell of a putt literally just got to start this right here and have it try to just trickle onto the hole nicely puted there that was actually pretty good that was that was pretty incredible actually that was very good thank you that is good sir oh appreciate it bro now I now I’m being tested yeah pretty good back and forth match to be honest Wow Nails he had to have it ice in his veins he had to have it folks what a putt one up with two to play that’s why that’s why he’s on tour did you go through Q school so I played I I left school went straight to Canada oh you went you went the can Canadian route yeah so I played played really really well out there for three years um first year I skipped first stage wow went to Second missed it second um second year I skipped first stage again went straight to Second missed Again by I think one or two shots and the last year I went back up there for a third year I mean it’s so hard to make a living up there like yeah you’re pretty much just I mean you’re not playing for any money like you’re just simply playing to get through Q School spots isn’t travel like so expensive to it’s so expensive um but and then the third year I went back up and made it to final stage and then got my card I think I finished seventh at Q school finals yeah so and then got my my corn fairy car from there so so your first time making final stage you got it yeah through that’s sick yeah that’s dope the stories yeah it’s cool I mean it’s it’s it’s a journey man everyone’s so different right yeah all right I tell me about this hole is it part five yeah part five Gable today for sure yeah with the wind I need to hit a good drive I haven’t hit a good drive in in a minute bam that was spanked yeah just yeah it’s kind of leaking yeah should be good yeah nice that was hit hard yeah it was hit pretty good that Bunker’s probably 300 yard out okay so like a really good one could get there but I mean it’s so soft today yeah balls aren’t going to roll anywh no balls are not going anywhere oh absolutely pipe show that is money money get on down there the boy had to have it God I really want to hit a four iron right now but this wind is like it’s switching almost yeah look now it’s down and I just threw it and it was just in yeah that was weird long is okay yeah tell myself that long right is good M oh be the club stop cutting wind is just ripping it barely dude you didn’t H the before yeah well I mean I just absolutely just yeah you got a really nice angle you got 228 is this your favorite Club no fire R’s my favorite Club it’s about to be your favorite Club you just hit two absolute pearls if I hit this one good it should be come on Cut oh wind never hit it dang dude that was a good shot though I mean I hit it really well yeah you hit solid I hit it really well just a little defensive that’s ridiculous I’m screwed where I’m at yeah you’re not in a good spot but he’s like yeah you’re not a good spot than God softly oh got got a little quick there not going to lie it happens to the best of us yeah hold on hold on all right great shot it’s a tough way to make a twoot B has one here to win the match a little bit of a tester folks M go hair right grain’s moving right did rimik just hand me a gift here might have I mean incredible uh second chip though appreciate that after that after the first one I was my mind was in a little bit of a pretzel there not going to lie after after just absolutely knifing it over the Green Oh folks he’s done it Well Done sir what a match what a match that was fun
