well denil congratulations yet again you’re through to the semi-finals of Wimbledon you knew this was going to be a tough match against the world number one but I don’t think even you could have imagined what a roller coaster the last four hours were going to be just sum up your emotions after all of that yeah I knew if I want to to beat Yanik it needs to be a tough match he’s not anymore guy you can beat easy even like I felt at one moment he was not feeling that good but I knew that uh this can get away and then he he started playing better so I’m happy that I managed to still like stay high level I think was great points great match and I’m really happy to to win uh and really happy with my game and looking forward yeah he obviously wasn’t feeling well at one point he wasn’t feeling well at one point he he left the course the court and then came out really fighting I imagine that in that situation you have to stay a little bit selfish and not get sentimental about the person at the other side of the Court how do you deal with that yeah it’s actually very tough because uh as as I say at one moment I could feel that he doesn’t move that well uh so it’s always tricky because you want to play more points to to make him suffer a little bit more and at the in in a good way and at the same time you know that he at one point is going to say okay I cannot run anymore so I’m going to go full power and that’s what he did and he had set points to to win the third set and uh yeah in a way I I would maybe prefer to to not have this situation but uh uh everything is well when it ends well so I’m pretty happy and how do you make your next opponent suffer in a good way because it’s either going to be Carlos alcaras or Tommy Paul they’re battling out at the moment the way you’re playing though and have played over the last 10 days you must feel pretty confident whoever comes your way yeah it’s my uh first time winning two matches on Center Court in Wimbledon so uh usually uh usually I would either win one or zero so uh this is a a record already and I saw yeah the first set because they it was raining so they only showed this match on the on the on the scoreboard and uh at one moment I saw like four all and almost 50 minutes of play I was like what are they doing there so yeah going to watch a little bit now when I come back and then get ready for the winner then they play good matches so should guys watch Al also I love the fact that whilst you’re winning out here in Center Court you’re still keeping across everything that’s going on court one put your hands together danal me too big the score

  2. The amount of serve this guy did is very better, I saw the match and every serve medvedev doing, is instant with no delay.Very fast serve with no wait time

  3. I hoped, that this year WTA/ATP/ITF, would stop this nonsense of mixing sport with politics.

Every player should have right to play under her/his country's flag. One cannot choose the country of one's birth.

Appointing "flag police" at tennis tournaments is not even childish… it was embarrassing and insane…

Wars are run by politicians not sportsmen/sportswomen.

Why during the invasion of Iraq, 20 year bombing of Afghanistan, Syria, Yemen and Pakistan not to mention the genocidal Vietnam war US, Australian, UK… athletes were allowed to compete under their national flag?

USA invaded Iraq in 2003 and yet their flag was still allowed at the World Cup 2006 in Germany and 2010 in South Africa despite the fact they were still in Iraq.

Either ban ALL flags of countries who go to war, or don't ban any of them.

Interestingly enough Israeli tennis players Mika Buchnik and Guy Sasson are allowed to play under the national flag in AO 2024 despite the policy of their government towards Palestinians in Gaza.

All wars are equal, but some wars are more equal than others.

  4. Carlos is my favorite but I love Daniil. People think Novak is authentic? I don't think so, look no further than Daniil meddy

  5. Obviously thought Jannik would have the variety to beat Meddy, but as a Meddy fan since the 2019 US Open, I was absolutely delighted that he managed to stay with Sinner and take the crucial break in the fifth! I thought Meddy deserved to win the AO, so I’m supporting him here! He’s improved his play on grass substantially

  6. medvedev is always top contender for making deepest runs, even if he doesnt win the title, he always beats favourites

  7. Great to see Danil in top form. he is such a great personality and tells how it is, should be an epic semi final

  8. Huge fan of Daniil – it would be some story if he ends up with the trophy at the end of the week!

  9. Why is everyone kept on saying sinner isn’t feeling well. In Australia the interviewer focused on sinner instead of medvedev played longest AO.

  10. As I mentioned before in Meddy US Open semis video. Junior players need to take inspiration from meddy. The big 3, murray, alcaraz and sinner were probably always the most talented guy during juniors but I bet meddy had a lot of doubters. From his swing, i can’t imagine how many parents and coaches made fun of his swing and probably said he could never make it and here we are. A champion, former world number 1 and have the chance to defeat no 1, 2 and 3 to win wimbledon title.
