three great guests tonight Yamaha Star Racing Dax and benck gonna join us moff FXR clubmx yamaha’s Garrett marchbanks is going to jump on and then hopefully TLD Red Bull gas gases trainer will will not cancel again he just told me he’s at at Glenn Helen still but we’re going to try to get him on as the last guest if everything works out right before we get into the guest before we get into the Race Tech open discussion in studio as always working the cameras YouTube chat Scotty Thompson what’s up what’s happening man you did it this time only because I reminded you it only took 320 episodes yeah but we got it but we’re here we got it it didn’t take that long and we uh implemented something new today and it seems to have worked so yeah that’s that’s a first for us first try something works although although you were right though having creating the broadcast early send the chat in a with 605 now what are we doing it’s all good we TI it up next week we just we were adding a spotlight on Vital MX that says live now it’s something we haven’t done before and I want to make sure everything worked properly so yeah we started a little early this week but we’ll we’ll we’ll tighten it up next week um I think we are going to do a show next week now I think so we’ll tighten it up next week but also in studio she’s the media relations manager I guess is the title I’m going to give her from Swan MX and she’s the host of get it straight with Kate kit L Mo back in studio good to have you thank you for having me back on yeah yeah you uh you you know you you’re we talked last time you were on that you kind of still a little new to the sport your family’s into it and you watching Outdoors so we want to get you back on but we’re going to jump into the Race Tech open discussion where we’ll talk about some random topics and uh yeah Race Tech is the world’s largest aftermarket motorcycle suspension modification company they have over 35 years of experience providing Factory level suspension to the everyday Rider you can go RAC tech.com find your local service center get your suspension serviced get them resprung meet your local service tech he’s probably at your tech provides quality Precision Engine Services using the best equipment processes in the industry so need engine work suspension work hit up rch.com so yeah let’s start with the big news that happened after the show the next day Wednesday of last week jet Lawrence the points leader huh who yeah well I mean you probably wouldn’t know who he was I bet cin knows who he is but jet Lawrence injured as UCL just about like Cooper web and Eli tomx super weird that these are all happening all of a sudden yeah and and Louis said there’s a GP guy that happened to too this year Tut two Tut two happened to as well yes also yeah it’s just crazy but um you know and you think about it jetss won seven championships Without Really any injuries so where he’s missed like significant races you just huffed five championships you don’t want to count no six okay the the SMX thing is it’s a all right well I mean we’re counting him now so regardless the point is he hasn’t really had any injuries just flip this whole Championship upside down and I I kind of have to think there’s a mental shift with Cooper web or Cooper web um Chase ston and Hunter Lawrence like in the back of my mind I feel like those guys kind of know he’s better they can’t tell themselves that but they kind of know they’re like and we’re kind of like why you laugh just because they don’t think that you don’t think so you don’t think they’re like geez this dude just even when he’s hurt he’s winning and now he’s like now he’s out and oh I have a better chance like they say no but I mean Caitlyn subconscious like what do you what do you think like a guy Jet’s pretty dominant mhm and he’s the favorite I mean just really is he until people start consistently beating him and passing him and and winning he’s the favorite when he goes out of the championship you would think as second place or third place guy like oh like my chances just opened up a little bit so it’s going to be completely I feel like for the rest of the season it’s going to be a game changer for the rest of the Riders to get themselves out there more noticed so I guess I guess we’ll see but yeah a guy like Justin Cooper uh for sure is going to start stepping up Chason for example yeah I think Chase is Chase was like a Podium guy anyway though but I think some of those farther back guys like a Justin Cooper a Jason Anderson um those guys now are going to start stepping up but Scotty you kind of said oh they don’t I don’t think they they think that way and then you’re like well maybe they do like I think it’s human nature like you you have to know that there’s something special about Jet and it’s not easy to beat him the only thing that I will say and and I was listening to the Vital MX post R show and Lewis had a very good point that arguably you know Chase hasn’t been 100% whether it’s been injury or getting used to a new bike new program racing all these tracks for the first time on a different bike Chase hasn’t really had the chance to be 100% against Jets so I think Chase was always going to have to was going to be able to say like man I’m just I’m working to get there and I think he was getting there yeah so now it’s kind I think if you asked Chase he’d probably like I think it would mean more to him if he was to beat jet straight up like well and that’s what he told Michael Lindsay during the uh Friday uh press day at Redbud he said like I was bummed I want to beat Jet and Hunter which you know Caitlyn I guess really that’s that’s what a real Champion would do right it’s like I I don’t want the best competition out I want to know that I beat that guy my point was there’s got to be a little part of him that’s kind of like it just got a little bit easier mhm that’s all you know it’s not a bad thing it’s like it’s just I I just assume it happened that’s all I’m asking you guys I guess if they the Mind change is is CH Chase now has is has the expectation to win okay so let’s let’s go with that does that put more pressure on him now that he’s sort of the chase instead of the it was kind of funny that his name was Chase and he was always chasing jet yeah but now he’s the chase instead of the Chaser a little bit does that change you think that changes anything in his program no I mean k you think he starts riding different or just because I feel like he might start riding a little bit different more protective defensive maybe because he’s not chasing after something like he was with jet and gosh but at the same time M I don’t want to write Hunter off yeah he’s a great Rider but like he’s gonna get his first overall come soon maybe at milville this weekend and this championship’s certainly not over we good Scotty yeah okay cool um yeah I want to talk about this is another thing that got brought up on the vital Mex postra show Michael Lindsay and and Le philps were talking about and it’s kind of an interesting thing and since you’re somewhat new to it Caitlyn I thought it’d be cool to ask you this question jet Lawrence massively popular Hayden Degan massively popular Chase ston mediocrely popular as far as like fans don’t go crazy for a Chase ston um I feel like he’s a good interview he seems like a pretty nice guy you know to the as far as the general public would be concerned do you have a thought on like do you like do you find him as exciting or as interesting as a jet like what do you think it is that why he doesn’t have just the the screaming crazy rabid fans you know after thinking or having this conversation earlier with you I I did think about it like it’s crazy um Chase Aon after his win from dead last to first place I mean I feel like yeah it brought a lot of eyes and like my brother and I talked about it that’s my little brother’s favorite writer oh cool and I mean we thought about we talked about it and like nobody know realizes he’s a great like a great writer and it was it was really cool I think I mean people he’s won a champion Super C Championship but but he’s not like recognized as much like you said the rest yeah and I don’t think it’s it’s not so much in my opinion his his writing ability it’s his personality that’s why I think jet and Hayden Scotty have a little bit more or a lot more fandom is the personality Hayden does all the YouTube stuff and he’s like kind of on the podium he’s aggressive or like like Steve and the guys at PB say like WWE right he’s a character and then Jet is just something special you know he came into the into the uh rookie season or whatever with like the donuts and that fans just fell in love with that and then Chase is just kind of quiet right he’s a regular guy he’s just doing his job that to me is probably the biggest difference is he a private kind of guy like a little bit I think so yeah I like Chase’s personality oh I do too but but but but you you have to acknowledge he’s not as popular as even like an Aaron Pinger right he’s overall accomplished more as a writer than Aaron Pinger but Aaron Pinger has this huge personality and if he gets eighth people are going to be like a you know like they love him right it doesn’t matter because his personality I think I really think that’s what it comes down to yeah I guess I Chase has always been my guy ever since you know I don’t know why I’ve just always liked him always wanted him to to win and I think it’s because he kind of represented like the as the Challenger like it was first it was Tomac and like roxon and web and them and then now it’s turned into jet and I think I like him because he’s more of an underdog Chase I guess yeah I mean in in that sense I mean think about it you know the last couple years as Pro it’s his competition was to the greatest you know that that era and then it’s jet is the competition now is new Phenom so he’s never been known as like the guy that’s probably why I I don’t know if I completely agree with that but how how do you I I do think he’s known as one of the guys maybe not the guy I guess that’s what I’m saying okay all right like Jet’s been the guy the last year look at last year Supercross for most of the year I mean if if you spit on your mic I think so if Chase doesn’t wash the front end so many times he probably he runs he end up winning the championship anyway but he would have ran away with that Championship more than likely but he didn’t the guy to a degree but tomak was still the guy yeah yeah okay all right who are the guys for you the guys well I think jet is I think Jet’s the guy right now he’s just unreal and in the 250 class it’s Hayden I mean I like both those guys I hate I hate that there’s such a gap as far as fandom though man I’m I’m like like I love Hunter yeah um I mean like tonight daon Ben’s one of my guys but he’s not he’s not he’s not winning yet really but so it just kind of depends I like Chase I like Chase a lot I just wish he would answer my phone thanks Chase it’s rude um yeah go ahead so I one of our guys in the chat mentioned this and it’s and it was interesting because I lit literally thought this on the way over here and is is Chase a lucky wendam explain so wendam was always like the second best to to uh McGrath mhm uh car Michael oh I see okay I’m with even maybe Reed no but Chase is the same he’s just had I mean like Tom got hurt and he won his Supercross title now I almost feel like he’s an unlucky McGrath or whatever he should be winning so much more but and then and then TJ asked if he is he so who would you who would you compare more to wendam or dunie wow I man I don’t know if I compare to either one because I feel like tomat and Jet are like your RC’s and your car Michaels and your MCG I feel like Chase is that guy if he could just stop Wasing the damn front end yeah but I don’t know man I I can’t I don’t compare him to either one so you think he’s on that I think he’s more I think he’s more of the elite the guy level if he just quit making the mistakes that’s fair which I mean that’s a big if but that’s yeah I just don’t cuz you know uh Windam was just so rode so beautifully and so much skill and just couldn’t put wins together for some for different reasons but Chase just keeps making mistakes he’s crashing that’s not really what Windam did yeah I mean yeah I guess that’s fair but yeah um all right well let’s move on another thing that got brought up on the postra show that I thought was kind of interesting I’m stealing all your material there Lewis and Michael uh Hunter Lawrence is used to training with his brother you know getting in toe with his brother and they push each other and Now Jet’s out so does that hurt him a little bit not having his normal training partner or the question was brought up does it help him because now all the focus from Honda is on him which I think ml was the one that pointed out it kind of already was because he’s so picky but do you think it changes I mean I what do you think Caitlyn do you think it would change how his week goes when he’s in training that he doesn’t have he’s still got chance heus and other guys that he ride with but his brother’s been the guy all the time that they they they um push off each other and they you know they use each other’s motivation gosh well I feel like this next week we’ll like know we’ll know how this uh not training with his brother is but gosh I have no idea I feel like training by himself will help him improve a little bit but I I don’t know yeah that’s fair do you so you live you live at a training facility and you have families that come there when you see the kids training together when one of them moves or leaves or goes somewhere else do have you noticed that they maybe say like oh I wish so and so was here so I could ride with or is it more of just cuz they’re buddies or do you ever have you ever noticed it on being in the being living at a training facility Well thank you for saying that um okay so gosh with all the kids training together like they can push each other to you know go fast or you know side by-side race and telling each other what they need to work on and I guess also being just one one with the trainer and the rider you’ll get more of that attention and more critiques from the trainer but I guess I guess it just varies I don’t know how yeah there’s positives and negatives probably either way and it all depends on the rider too if they like training with others or with uh the trainer just one-on-one action I I think the I think the real question is is is also going to be like so Chase is Chase now because of this injury from jet Chase now has I think more external pressure from the media and the fans like yeah he’s kind to be the guy hunter now has more internal pressure from the team and the family because he’s getting the sole Focus maybe so I guess it would really be interesting to see how it plays out who handles those types two types of pressure better I don’t think it really affects him either way I think he’s seasoned and professional enough that he’s gonna be fine he still has people to train with um yeah his brother’s not there his brother probably more than likely be at the track and talking to him and they’re fine in my opinion I don’t think it makes any difference really but it’s kind of interesting that when when your program does change that that is a big change it’s only for a little you know limited time but um yeah pretty interesting wonder what everybody thinks if you guys just’s gonna be watching Hunter eating pizza or whatever he was talking about yeah uh email for to us is modox podshow atgmailcom please send your thoughts into these topics and our other ones coming up like our uh t-bolt top five we’ll be doing here in a little bit just send anything you have to say about the show any comments questions Moto xpod show gmail.com and don’t forget you can go to vitalmx.com sign up for our Fantasy game there is a moto xod show league so join that play the game with us let’s see here what do we want let’s talk about red bud for a minute we’re going to talk about Swan too what we may do that here in a little bit or we may do that at the end but we will talk about Swan a little bit um red butt as a whole one of the favorite races of of the Season uh most people would say either redb butt or milville as far as favorite tracks there’s a lot of hype the fans were insane at red bud it’s hard to even tell without being there but we kept hearing how insane it was but just takeaways from the race what stood out um there’s I have a few notes of things that were interesting but I mean Hunter’s crash is probably the biggest one changed the whole landscape of the the the motos but what you what stood out to you well uh I couldn’t I couldn’t believe that the Degan incident never didn’t didn’t get caught like how does how does that happen it’s funny like that all they ever do is talk about Degan and jet and well they finally took a camera off of him they finally took it off and something happened and look what happens I thought that was interesting um yeah he’s lucky he’s okay I I thought the weekend was good I mean it seemed like the from what I’ve heard it was cooler because of some rain I guess so I think that kind of made everybody a little more active um they seems that’s what the writer said on the podium and like when they would cut to the podium you couldn’t hear anything like you couldn’t you could tell that they were struggling trying to talk to everybody that was they were interviewing and stuff so I thought that just the general participation of the fans the the the the racing was pretty good I mean there were some battles um I don’t know if anything just jumps out okay of the page but overall just it’s red Bud’s always fun to watch we’ll get back into Redbud in a second I kind of skipped over I moved ahead a little bit we want to do the Yamaha motor USA highs and lows and then we can talk about red web through that but Yamaha motor USA has a reputation for dominance it doesn’t happen overnight it’s built over decades the YZ story is 50 years of iconic machines and groundbreaking Innovations yamaha’s new 50th Anniversary Edition yz’s pay tribute to a half century of Championship winning performance wrapped in stunning retro style check them out at Yamaha motorsports.com Scotty what do you think of that Yamaha when it ripped by you time and time and time again at Swan Saturday I don’t remember it that way really I mean I remember pulling off waiting for you to catch back up some more I remember just being like doing my cool down last and you kept like a little puppy like hey you want to play you want to play I was trying to ride my buddies but we we’ll get back into that but Yamaha motor USA high and lows Scotty what were some of your highs from the week lows from the week uh well highs was that it was a 4-day weekend because of the holiday so that was pretty cool um we got to ride um the racing was good U my one of my highs is AP always always like seeing him F success that was awesome um Lowe’s was that I don’t know man it was 4 Day weekend have any lows okay no lows I guess oh well I gu my one low is that I’m I need a clutch and some valving for my bike so it’s not running exactly the way I wanted to but other than that that’s yeah I didn’t really have any lows how about you Caitlyn highs and lows from the weekend from the week um okay uh I’m getting ready to for our Lone Star series round four for this weekend so I’m pretty excited for that gosh lows I don’t I don’t have any lows wow look at the two of you yeah we just we don’t live what about you you were telling us that you got accepted for a internship at Loretta that’s that’s a high I would think yes it I got accepted last week I’m going to Loretta’s my Loretta’s ticket nice did they give you one of the little the little things no I got an email okay congratulations on yeah just print it off and then tape it to one um I’m going there I’m doing apprenticeship I’m doing production and announcing so I’m really excited about that yeah that’ll be fun yeah very cool um uh do mine I I would say just the racing as a whole last week was kind of a rough week actually for me um so not a lot of highs other than maybe getting a ride uh low was jet crashing that kind of sucked um even though I kept saying like I don’t want him just to dominate the series I also don’t want him out of the series um and I I want him to race but just not be quite as good as he is this that just sums up our industry yes and then my other low is I’m sitting here working yesterday and I’m on the phone with Lou and I start hearing water running we’re having a massive storm and my ceiling starts leaking in the studio just barely missed one of the cameras so I had to get up in the attic and then patch a leak this morning that really sucked but it’s done could have been a lot worse so I guess in the end it’s actually a high it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be so there you go Yamaha motor USA highs and lows I’ve got a couple here from some listeners uh this is from an email Larry Jr 1986 highs and low this is a top five from last week damn it dude come on I think that’s his fault that’s mine it’s mine Shane baggley hi little red dog goes 2120 for 22nd overall he keeps improving kid got a lot of haters walking away from Triumph and talking about instab bangers on Pulp doing things his own way want to see him succeed his low is the broadcast team how the hell does danger yard sell in the whole broadcast misses it not one mention found out on Twitter an hour after the race it’s a bad look man it’s a bad look uh Vincent highs and lows Vin pale from t-bolt USA extremely stoked that chase went 1-1 he is living up to his potential epic first Moto battle down to the last corner and Tai mashle comes out on top awesome job for chance heus winning the overall Lowe’s Hunters crash uh in modo one is a fourth place after that is worst ride we really have a battle Brewing um and then H Hayden getting into that crazy downhill so those are their highs and lows from the Yamaha Motors USA highs and lows send your your highs and lows in for next week Moto xpod show gmail.com yeah so back to Red Bud one of the things I mentioned was Hunter’s crash again could have been really bad he could have easily been out for the season uh Caitlyn his hand blows off the bars and actually one of our somebody on social reached out to me today uh Mike Reagan he’s like go back and look a few laps before and and one of the instances where Hunter was out of shape he almost end OED and he start shaking his left hand like for a minute he’s like like the guy Mike that reached out couldn’t remember which hand it was it was left I think it was fine but he he said hey that might have been an issue but regardless he had this crash I don’t think the hand was an issue it didn’t look like it he has his crash you know he’s banged up it kind of affects him in modo too it was a bummer right it sets it sets his position back he could have been out for the season hopefully he’s okay but hunter was having a lot of sketchy moments in that first Moto I don’t know if either of you noticed that bikes all over the place just didn’t seem like he was very comfortable did you Caitlyn watching do you see that kind of stuff when you’re watching or is this yes I yes I noticed that too um but for I I haven’t actually asked you for you what actually stood out the most from Red Bud oh gosh probably the rollers oh yeah after the bleep yeah those are cool yeah um gosh that’s yeah that’s probably it okay all right all right um did you think when you saw Hayden go or Hunter go down though Scotty that like as it’s going on I was like oh he might not get up yeah he hit pretty hard um luckily that that dirt there is pretty soft so yeah they kept talking about that yeah yeah so maybe that’s that’s good but um yeah I mean it can always be worse right like he could have that would have really been different if he had gotten out but I mean to say that it didn’t affect a second Moto was I think it would be false like I think it did but I think I think he’ll be good um it should be interesting moving on um yeah I thought that oh another thing that stood out is they AP and was saying he was hitting the leap in second oh I didn’t hear that was that during a inter interview I didn’t hear it yeah maybe I mean they got they got tall their geared tall I know yeah that’s insane yeah I’m out yeah like Steve matthysse is like trying like he’s gonna he’ll jump H if somebody come up with ,000 Chad Reed said he’d pay a million if he’ do it I mean for a million I think I might go for it but yeah you’re you spend 600,000 of it at the hospital hey man if I come home with 400 Grand I’m doing good it’s 400 Grand that I got right now yeah yeah oh what about okay there’s two battles in the 250 class that were nuts Ty Tai masterpool and Hayden Degan Moto one was amazing but also in that Moto heus and V went at it for a while I know you like Hayden Degan you like you’re you’re yeah who is your who is your did you say that like I mean he’s a good Rider yeah I feel like yeah you you seem to be you kind of mentioned like he’s one of the fast guys he stands out he’s a good Rider that battle was pretty intense with him and Ty it was I to me I was a little more excited about the heus V all one I feel for some reason I was into it and then they went away from it did what did you think of those battles of just watching those guys go at it for that long everything they have on the line was it’s just that’s awesome Motocross Racing yeah it kept us on her or kept me on my toes kind of always makes you cheer out loud at home and v v yeah I started noticing him the last couple races and keeping tabs on him so it was pretty cool seeing those two battle back and forth and he really wanted it or they both really wanted it so it’s cool Scotty with Caitlyn because she is new to the sport that you’re we’re kind of seeing her like learn about it like discover and build some fandom yeah who is who has been your favorite Rider so far gosh I I couldn’t well now with like talking to my brothers or my brother and all of his friends and being on here this last time I’ve learned a lot and I’ve started paying attention more so gosh I mean it’s Hayden degan’s a great Rider yeah High Master pool I mean he pulled through this what this last couple races too yeah I really thought he was going to win the overall last weekend at Southwick wasn’t as good as we would hope but it was still pretty good yeah it was still really good just we now we want him to battle with Hayden every week now oh yeah uh gosh well Chase Saxon of course and then v i and uh yeah VL I’ve been keeping tabs on it’s been really cool watching him battle he really wanted gosh what at Wick he really wanted that first and lost oh and he he slid out yeah and then this weekend he fell too it’s kind of it is kind of interesting to see because I’ve noticed this too that I’ve been doing this show for a few years and I’m sure you’ve noticed this as well like when you’re looking at it from somebody that has to break it down and talk about these things you don’t like you don’t have just like you’re not like a super fan like all my buddies that watch all have like their guy like and there’s like super fan for that guy and like like my buddy doesn’t even want to watch Outdoors right now cuz tomac’s out like so yeah so he’s like it’s I have people that are like that so but when you from the angle that you’re going at it where you want to be in the journalism side of things you kind of have to look at it holistically and you have to like just take appreciation fact of what’s happening on the track and the battles and stuff and not like oh oh my guy didn’t win I’m pissed you know so it’s a cool sport yeah he’s trying yeah trying to get the phone connected um so our first guest of the night is on he’s going to be brought to you tonight by guts racing Andy Greg and the guts racing daxon bennick what’s up Dax what’s up guys how’s it going it’s going good dude good to talk to you um we’re what a few we’re almost a little over halfway into the outdoor Seasons currently 12th in points man um I don’t know if you ever hear feedback or listen to other podcasts at all I was in studio with pulp at the end of Supercross or maybe I was on the phone I can’t remember but he asked me like who who stood out to me positive wise and who I was like who I had higher expectations for and I was like yeah my my higher expectations was daxon he goes really and I well I I’m such a fan of you and I like you that I like I just in my mind I was like I wanted you to Podium you know I thought you’d be that’s where I thought you’d be do you feel like my expectations were too high of you um well yeah right now for sure yeah I can’t lie it’s been it’s been a little rough I mean you know it’s it’s my first year and first time going to some of these you know tracks um no secret I’ve always struggled a bit in California where the first round is but I like to think uh you know my last Moto at Red Bud was a pretty big step in the right direction but um D it’s been it’s been a a frustrating few rounds for sure I feel like everything’s there uh I’m riding really really good during the week and man I just can’t can’t seem to find find same flow on the weekend but I’m head down and we’re working on it okay so there’s a couple things I want to ask you based off what you just said first of all I I was at Fox at the round one and we talked and you were struggling with Comfort on the bike and stuff have you do you feel like the bike’s gotten better are you how much more comfortable are you than you were at Round One h a lot more for sure um I think it’s hard for for us you know also um we do test at the goat farm it’s a bit hard to translate to California I think you know the goat farm does really well for a lot of like you know a lot of the East Coast tracks and just hard and for me too not growing up in California um dude it’s a different type of riding style and it’s something I I I suck at and I’ll admit it and I gotta get better for sure so I I am with you dude I did well I was out there at that time like I said I did Loretta’s Regional the next weekend yeah the regional the next weekend at Fox and I was terrible and I ride Glenn Helen and I’m terrible I mean I’m not that good here in Texas either but when I ride in Texas I’m twice the rider I am in California because I hate the dirt out there yeah just uh for me I have no choice I gotta get good at it yeah yeah it’s your job man it’s for me it’s just I’m trying to have some fun um yeah okay now you also mentioned just a minute ago that you know you’re not translating your practice week to your race week do you have any thoughts as to what that is I mean know if you absolutely knew what it was you’d fix it but do you can you kind of put uh something to it yeah um it’s a lot of just you know slow really I feel like I’m a I gotta ride like in a really smooth like slow state where if I’m riding like that I’m really good so it’s it’s hard like you know just putting the track together um you know like as the race you you got for the first qualifying and you’re sending it immediately there’s no time to get used to the track so that’s something I’ve hly gotten better at each round like my qualifying H hasn’t been very good just because like intensity right off the rip is definitely High um but it’s getting better so uh this weekend I was nin in qualifying that’s the best best I’ve qualified so you know it’s getting there and it’s also you know for the races the start is is huge right now I feel like the first Moto at Red Bud um the track was honestly pretty smooth like they pressed a lot of I was really surprised and I had a horrible start I think I was 30 something first lap and 36 I yeah 36 it wasn’t it wasn’t easy like you know passing some guys that aren’t too hard to pass yeah that was a pretty though I would think you’d take a a lot away from that particular ride because you even posted on your Instagram 36 to 16th that that just going out there and passing some guys on a track that sounds like if you listen to like Chase seon it was very hard to pass on so you’re you’re kind of figuring out some racecraft and I’m sure you took a little bit away from that yeah I think uh you know I was to be honest really mad after that Moto but I think looking back there is a you know a lot that I think that would help me in the future you know like when I am a bit better and put myself in better positions like if I have bad starts or whatever I i’ like I’ve been there I’ve done that and uh you know I get through the pack all right hey Daxton how are you doing how’s it going pretty good that’s Caitlyn by the way yeah okay yeah her her family owns Swan MX oh sweet yeah um okay so how was racing at Redbud this last weekend for you yeah it was it was good that I mean I you probably heard but the Energy’s sick that’s probably my favorite race um the fans are wild track is really good I it rained a little bit Friday so track was really good for uh Saturday and you I think it was probably my best one yet we’re getting some tracks I’m I’ve been to now so I’m pretty excited for that too well good okay um if you could redo red bud this year what would you changed riding at Red Bud H just a better start mod one really yeah pretty pretty to the point that’s about like 80% of the field though right the start yeah for sure It’s Tricky It’s Tricky yeah was it uh I was hearing things saying that it was difficult to pass kind of oneline especially experiencing the start that you just said you had was was that kind of the case was it hard for you to get around guys that you felt like you should have done gotten done past faster yeah it was a little hard just like that first motto for the 250s was I like I said you know they prepped up a lot of the turns was really surprised but I mean it wasn’t too bad until you know I I think I was L Dylan Schwarz and that’s kind of where I like I started getting tight my arm started pumping up pretty bad and uh I kind of stopped going forward like I got to him pretty quick feel like I think if I didn’t get arm pump I could have definitely went further no doubt but um yeah man I just once I I kind of got stuck behind him for a few laps and then my arms were just shot after that hey were you did you ever especially you’re trying to make up ground did you ever consider doing the leap when did we ever think about it or is it just was just a hard no uh yeah the I actually I mean Moto to I could like actually ride like how I normally ride and I did think about it but I was like I ain’t gonna do this for like I there’s no reason but I was you know maybe if I was in a position to win yeah at that point I’ll jump it I was surprised that more of the 250 guys weren’t doing it later in the second not that many 450 guys were doing it yeah yeah it was I guess that corner they added they added like a like a small roller on the exit so you kind of had to finesse that thing right so like your wheels were on the ground but I mean yeah I never even I’ve seen like I heard Mark finish tried it uh in practice one and uh he didn’t even come close I didn’t get his front wheel over it and that was like still the deal for me yeah it’s it’s one of those things where I think where most guys aren’t doing it it’s not that big of a deal right like okay if you’re one of if you were the only one of the top 10 not doing it that’s an issue but yeah who was the one that did the uh Fender slap over it was that Kul I don’t remember there’s a couple there’s a couple guys at Freddy nor for sure no someone made it and did like a like a like a like a Ronnie fer slap and then yeah norin ruined an FF pipe doing it that was nasis um training I want to go back to training training at the Goof farm and you guys go to MTF sometimes also correct yeah we do um how is training with working for you like um on the bike off the bike what do you like what do you focus on much most I guess it’s I mean there’s a program you’re having to follow obviously but what what is your primary focus during the week whether it be starts or just how do you plan it um lately I just tried to focus a bit more on uh my technique and just like a few things with that because uh it it stands out a bit more at to race like when you ride a track a lot it’s not too bad because you hav it memorized but when you’re on a new track you know some things pop out at you that maybe you didn’t know that you had that are like kind of weaknesses so just been working on that a little bit and uh yeah it’s good we’re we’re lucky enough to have MTF right down the road and GPS so it’s good to switch it up we can go ride stand if we want or you know ntf it’s pretty rough there’s a lot of amateur kids there so yeah we’re we’re pretty lucky to to have those tracks around all right hey Jackson we had a listener question speaking of your you know training and who you you’re kind of hanging out with this Austin Justice wanted to ask that clearly you’re good friends with Hayden and grew up battling him what is it what is it like for you watching him Dominate and does it motivate you even more um yeah I’m happy for him he’s he’s crushing it right now for sure but yeah it does you know like we’ve always battled and um we had a few moments in supergross where we did but I would say he’s definitely better than me in supergross but yeah I think it motivates me for sure because I know I can I can get there no doubt yep but uh you know I I don’t know I just trus in God’s timeing you know every it all works out so we’re uh we’re here for it kayin okay um what’s been the biggest transition from amateur to Pro for you uh you just got to learn your tracks a lot obviously and uh the intensity’s like a lot higher in the pros for sure yeah another one that writers say a lot is when you were in the amateurs there’s one or two guys that are fast like you at your level and then there’s a pretty big drop off right and you get used to dominating and then you move to the pros and like every it’s all those Elite guys and mentally you have to readjust like oh wait I’m not the guy everybody here was the guy at one time almost and that I’m sure that’s an adjustment to kind of be like Oh I’m not dominated anymore I I have to kind of accept my place yeah yeah you just gota now it’s you know it’s down to the little things at this point and uh at the pro level it’s you know just little things that that separate the guys that are you know top three top five from the guys that are you know 10 eight whatever so uh and like I’m willing to work for it so I just keep keep working and and we we’ll climb there eventually let me ask you this since Loretta is not that far away um a guy can win Loretta’s championships and that definitely will lead you down roads where there more opportunities more you know where teams are looking at you but do you feel that winning a Loretta’s Championship really means anything once you go pro does it really set you in the right direction does it help your program or is it more like it’s just so different in my opinion uh yeah it’s definitely different I mean there’s definitely I mean there’s definitely guys that maybe aren’t the greatest in amateurs but they figured out in the pros you know so um and vice versa I mean look at jet Reynolds and Ryder D are struggling right now right some of the winningest Riders ever amateurs well in my opinion you know you got like they kind of get used to winning a lot it’s it’s it’s a bit hard to you know readjust which I was I did pretty good in amateurs obviously too but um I don’t know I think I’m just open-minded and always trying to learn yeah and your backstory I want to get to your backstory in a minute is very impressive and I think that that probably helps you in that mental game but um another thing we were talking about your bike setup or the the bike Improvement but I didn’t really ask any details so what things have you changed that have made it improve so much since Fox was it engine package stuff was it suspension uh you know just chassis what made the biggest difference just some uh suspension works okay what’ you change what you what was the big difference just was it literally just settings or was it rate you know offsets um I to be honest I don’t know everything but I do know uh you know we did change for and shock for sure and there were other parts that we did change too but yeah uh you know I kind of had to go in a Direction where it didn’t feel as good at the practice track but feels a lot a lot better at the race so gotta kind of kind of kind of weird because you don’t really know if it’s gonna work but I mean I think this weekend like was the first time I got to really ride it you know it’s hard we changed it for Southwick and it’s it was worked good but it’s a bit hard to to know and stand just because it’s a little different yeah but uh this weekend was I think more of a true test and and I was really really happy with my well good that that should mean you’ll be happy coming up in milville this weekend cuz I love milville good dirt little bit of little bit of Sandy you know terrain and um it’s gonna be good have you ever rode it before Dex yeah I raced there last year I did I think four or five rounds last year and mville was one of my favorite tracks was good it’s so good so good yeah I’ve never this been my bucket list I really wanted to go to the ride Day last year but anyways so daxon with with your your teammates um I’ve heard other interview and they know they’ll ask them questions about like you know who’s the who’s the funniest guy on the team who’s the craziest guy or who the messiest guy stuff like that and your name kind of comes up a lot for different things I just feel like I’ve heard they everybody says that you’re kind of a character what do you like U about most about being part of the Star Yamaha team who’s your favorite guys that you kind of like to mess around with uh I mean I feel like we’re all we’re all pretty good on the team like we all hang out and get along pretty good um you know joke around a good bit just some good good banter for sure um I mean I’m I’m staying with Hayden right now until my house is done so I hang out with Hayden obviously a ton and I just grew up with him but you know coup me and me and coup hang out some uh you know Jordan like we all hang out it’s it’s good and uh feels like family for sure yeah I was gonna ask you like how the veterans how they relate with you know like the Cooper webs and the Jordan Smiths and the Eli Eli’s not around that much but how they how they fit in with the young boys because yeah you guys are you and Hayden and the the other guys are kind of like The Three Stooges you know the Three Musketeers you know to have the older guys probably be like what’s wrong with these kids man yeah well they’re are you know they’re they’re learning the new the new era baby right yeah get out get out either get with us or get out old man so when you when you guys are like I don’t know at the driving range or doing something like playing like a competition video game or something is is it the same Hayden that’s on the podium like Get Into the Danger Zone all that stuff is is he talking is he talking the same kind of noise when y’all are doing stuff like that I mean just dep we don’t really uh well we we don’t really golf much or just any I just I use example just any kind see him hitting his driver and going you’re in the danger zone now baby just anything that you guys might find competitive in the nature or something like that I mean yeah sometimes we we talk but that’s all um okay uh gosh what do you like to ride more Outdoors or Supercross what is your fan what do you what is your favorite thing to do um it’s hard like I’ll say right now I really like outdoors and I feel like there’s uh a lot to learn and improve on and uh yeah I’m I really like Outdoors right now but I I was good in super GRL for sure so it’s it’s tough I really like both I don’t think I’m a Super Crust guy or motor crust guy I really like both what are you looking forward to for the rest of the season uh I like I like going to buds Creek and Iron Man those are two really good tracks and uh I look forward to going on the lake because I haven’t much and yeah kind trying to go surf there you go uh Jackson Benn brought to you tonight by guts racing um couple more things for you before we let you go look man I’ve seen photos of you with the chess protector over and the chest under got pick one you got to pick one dude I know I shoot man I did I did better this weekend with the under so might under okay yeah I like the under man I want to see the Jersey we got to go under daxon let’s get that we we thinking uh untuck or tucked let’s go untucked I like it untucked yeah I like the over chess protector it’s old school Shut up man yeah all right no under untucked yeah little Jason Anderson Flo yeah let’s get a Podium that’s that’s if you get a Podium this weekend we’re going to we’re going to put it all on that on the Moto xod show bump and the chest protector under all right man I’ll do anything for that all right yeah I want to talk about your backstory a little bit I was kind of going through some old interviews and stuff and yeah I didn’t realize that your dad had a pro license and you know 92 93 got some top 10 like that’s in the story of like how he worked and and got you Mo you know got you to where you are helped you get where you are with really not handing everything to you but making you work for it and making some tough decisions it’s really impressive and I think that says a lot to who your dad is but then it really lends itself to who you are now is a your way your personality is yeah I mean everyone uh thinks just because he has money like things are given to me but it really wasn’t like that at all you know I had to I had to earn it for sure and you know my dad was hard on me as a kid he still is and and I think that’s what pushes me to be good and you know I wanna I wanna you know sometimes proen wrong sometimes Pro him right so yeah good what did he ever really give you any writing advice like you know back in my day like you know he raced he was good he raced I think he rode with u Hayden’s dad Brian a lot right they raced they were friends he did freestyle together um but did he ever really give you like technique advice what if so what’s yeah for sure I mean even as a kid but he always like the biggest thing with him when I was a kid grown up he always just like let me arrive whenever I want he was pretty mellow back then uh we need a little bit of that more now for sure but uh no he was pretty mellow back then like he would just let me ride whenever I want and like he just always wanted to keep it fun and like never sent me to a uh you know like any type of camp or anything like that when I was on 50s 60s 80s uh he just I just rode in my house and and like kind of just did my own thing and and yeah I always had a blast like I would ride and go Lake like it was it was a dream yeah it seemed like he didn’t put a lot of pressure on you so you didn’t get burned out which I would imagine that helps you now you’re probably more motivated because you didn’t have to put so much seriousness into it when you were younger yeah I mean I feel like it started getting you know really gnarly and serious probably you know three years ago when I was on km and like that you know you’re prepare you’re in your in b class and like I think get you know you gotta start showing something at that point for sure and I always like play Ro a lot so I I have a lot of the good bike just because of that and like after riding if I had to do motors polar Ras I would just go out and do a lot of like Play Riding like I would hit the threey ramp and uh I think that’s you know some kids maybe miss that but it’s it’s really good and it helps when you get in tricky situations like you kind of just know where to do yeah the other thing for the two of you here in studio and those listening that you guys may not remember uh daxon was had an opportunity to have a two-year signed deal paid deal through KTM mhm or go ride for free for Star take a chance and his dad like from what I understand let him make that decision and he made a decision to go ride for free for star at a at a young age like that I think I would have made the other decision no I want to get paid or I want that that you know I want the security he bet on himself Caitlyn and that would probably not be easy to do it’s pretty impressive I’d have to agree yeah daon I was going to ask you that like uh you know that you obviously you had the decision and and you were you decided to go with Bobby Reagan and the Star Yamaha team and and uh how is that do you think that that’s been the obviously the right choice and have have you felt the benefits of that bike and and just the team in general yeah I mean back then you know we always said it’s really not about the money we just kind of want to go with the best bike and I that for sure paid off you know I I think uh dude looking back like it was it was really good for me I had a lot of pressure on me and I did good with it for sure uh like I was definitely expected to win and um like going into the Futures like you know and just learning with the team like I’ve always dreamed to be OnStar I’ve always loved the bikes and yeah it it’s really cool like the first week I was here we did a gnarly bike ride and like broke me a knce for sure um H how many times a week do you see Bobby uh we just see him at the race at the race okay I didn’t know if he was over there like with at the at the test track running stopwatches and I don’t know yeah just that’s cool though I know I know that him giving you that option was a was a big step in your career and and I know that you have great respect for him and he’s he’s he’s definitely one of a kind oh yeah he’s uh he’s a lot of fun on race day yeah what’s what’s been his best quote that you’ve seen that’s cool or just something like you’re like you really just say that oh you would be be surprised what he said that’s for sure but yeah we’ve heard some stories yeah I guess yeah anything I guess if you can’t say anything no worries man I just I just know he’s fun to be around yeah he’s he’s a lot of fun well daxon you uh you’re signed through 25 so that’s got to give you some security so last couple questions what are your what are your legitimate goals for the rest of Outdoors like what whether it be better starts certain spot and the positions like what are you really trying to accomplish by the end um you know I just I really want to start clicking starts off bad you know like putting yourself in the position to do what you want with that and that’s I don’t want to over complicated I just want to want to put myself in that position and I think staying inside the top 10 right now is a is really good and it’s G to help and I think you know having a couple of those rides will build build my confidence I’d say and just you know it it’s just like a ladder right you gota you gota you can’t just start at the top you got you gotta climb it for sure so there you go yeah think that’s that’s the main goal you just got to put yourself in that position my starts man they’ve been like hit or miss and it’s pretty frustrating because it’s hard to show your riding when you’re starting 30th but yeah just to try and get a good start like I said and just yep slowly climb that ladder all right I’m gonna close this out with we got an email for us and I thought it was kind of an interesting fun topic so this is the last one choose your dirt bike superpower you got four choices super speed teleport to any track in the world that you want to ride on an unbreakable bike or immune to injury got to pick one oh my God uh immune to injury does sound good and the speed one sounds good I’ll take the injury one like I don’t want to be in there you go immune to injury yeah does the speed one indicate that you’re going to crash a lot or is like if you’re just that good that you don’t even fast enough you can ride like a like like the kid off The Incredibles where he could just like barely jog when he beat everybody like like just was yeah yeah exactly awesome well daxon thanks for jumping on here for a little bit tonight and having some fun with us good talking to you and yeah we’ll uh good luck at milville man let’s get it done Podium with a chest prot protector underneath yes sir thank you guys all right see you buddy yes see daxon benck tonight brought to you by guts racing good times with Daxton yeah man I’m just like I I’ve said on here before I I You’re such you’re such a bummer when they come on like hey man like I know that like you suck but like that’s not what I meant but that’s how it comes out well you know what that’s how I do my my my jam That’s My Jam Bo you’ve gotten to you’ve gotten this far with doing it so yeah I was my point was like I think I expected more out of him than really he was ready for in his rookie season just because I I go with my heart sometimes instead of like yeah we noticed wow about I’m about to mute him all right let’s uh jump into the X brand he can give it but he can’t take it I am taking it shut up Man X brand Forum check in xbrand is your choice for Clear Vision and a leader in Motocross and off-road goggles X brand is used by many of the top GNCC Riders including the 2023 xc1 Champion Craig D long National her and Hound Champion Dalton shur and the National Enduro Champion Grant Baylor as well as Motocross Supercross and Arena cross Riders like Kyle Chism Freddy norin Henry Miller Michael Hicks Richard Taylor Jerry Robin and many more visit eks brand.com or go to your local dealership to ask for xbrand distributed through WPS um okay I have two different Forum check-ins we can I think I’m gonna go with this one let’s start with this we have an extra couple minutes why don’t we just do both we’ll try to I told Gary might get to him a little bit early okay um the one I’m going to go with first is titled does a brand Brand’s popularity sway your purchasing decision posted by 121x she’s already oh yeah Shing her head over there so this guy says um specifically Motocross and off-road bikes I have always been the type that likes to be a little different sounds like TJ where I think a lot of people may want to follow the crowd and buy brands that seem popular I’m not sure if sometimes the thought may be if so and so like a particular Rider is using that bike or riding that using that brand it must be better uh I purchased a gas gas when they were first introduced I could purchased I could uh I could purchase a KTM husar a Kawasaki or whatever but I like that they were the gas gas was less common that’s the idea behind the question so all right Caitlyn you’re shaking your head um and I guess it doesn’t have to be Motocross specific but but yeah does does a Brand’s popularity sway your purchasing decision X brand oh not X brand oh my gosh xand gogg no eth for check in I was thinking X BR no Etha oh yeah like because my brother was wearing it I was dissing it was like stop wearing it on your head my brother my father was dissing it cuz he was wearing it on his head you know that that hat and I think I have Buck hat somewhere but now I be catch myself wearen uh that clothing all the time now because it’s popular yes that’s the only reason popular and I guess people really liked it I was like okay they swayed me I’m going to get it to go and okay yeah so yes I feel like what about you Scotty or or or the vice versa if TJ was here he would say no I don’t like anything that’s popular it’s all maybe when I was younger uh now now I’m like about Comfort like he dark you give me crap cuz I wear Crocs but like I love Crocs thank you uh like I I I have kind of bad feet from waiting tables for like 10 years so my heels are pretty blown out so wearing the Crocs doesn’t make my feet hurt so like I don’t care what they look like and it’s funny cuz they’re actually kind of popular anyway so um but yeah maybe a little bit but for the most part it’s just like do I like it or do I not like it what about in Moto like whether it be a gear brand for us since we ride or a type of bike do you buy a bike or a gear brand because oh my favorite Rider wearing it would has that influenced you ever um maybe yeah when especially when I was younger and everybody like James or Rick and fox I was like I want Fox kind of always rode what I could get yeah um I definitely I definitely bought my KTM after riding another KTM from that same year and I was like yeah I got to get one of these that’s not like popularity Championship like there are people that will go buy a bike when a KTM when dun’s winning all the time and they’ll put the number five on there and you know they want the Red Bull Graphics or no I’m definitely not a fan of like getting like the the factory graphic replica bikes I like making my own thing I I have definitely bought things or been influenced by Brands because of popularity like I just said fox or uh axo gear back in the day um Honda was you know back in the late 80s was and 80s and late 80s was winning all the time with McGrath and Ricky Johnson and and I I wanted a Honda so I got a Honda so it’s definitely had influence on me at times um it’s not not now so much and I don’t say like you know um cism right one of my favorite writers become a good friend like I don’t go like I’m going to buy whatever gear he’s wearing because of that but when I was younger I would have probably I think that for me it’s more of like not like okay like Patrone tequila is probably one of the most popular Tequilas okay I think that that is I think it is a horrible tequila like it’s terrible but it’s popular but so I don’t like like I don’t like it just because it’s like it’s not good like it being popular doesn’t make me want to get it but like for example I play I play golf I use titless golf balls are probably the most popular but that’s because they’re the best like they’re proven to be the best that’s why I get them so I get stuff because of more of its how proven it is rather than how popular it is all right same here same okay MH yeah let’s let’s do this other form check in then this is uh titled Degan telling anyone who will listen that he is unbeatable uh posted by Scott bate and he’s put just post a laughing emoji because he got beat but I kind of like the attitude a little bit like sometimes I don’t like the character that Degan puts on at you know when he’s on the podium but at other times Caitlyn in sports or any competition if you can get a mental advantage over somebody that’s huge so if you go in and say yeah you can’t beat me I’m winning look I’m I’m backing it up most of the time and you’re talking this smack talk it does it’ll frustrate your competition it’ll get in their head they’re going to want to beat you they might try harder than they should to beat you because of that and things it can definitely sway things in your way so I think it’s kind of smart even though I don’t always like it I 100% agree with you I mean it’s great for that person for uh and it’s good marketing oh 100% because I know not a whole lot of people like how Degan talks and reacts to other people yeah it’s with him it’s kind of either you love him or you hate him there’s very little in between with Hayden and there’s a lot of like Chad Reed was that way back in the day Scotty and and Chad could talk a lot you know and and would always had something to say straight to the point yeah so um what do you think about just that attitude I’m sorry can you repeat the topic thing no no I can’t okay well then I’ll just haed Degan telling anyone he will who will listen that he is unbeatable and just kind of you know pushing you know WWE yeah that’s why I was kind of trying to get out of like lowkey Get out of deck by asking him like when you they’re playing video games or doing something like that is they probably get tired of I was getting I know but I was trying to get him to like is Hayden really like that out of side of things which he’s probably not but you know he’s not going to he’s not going to say that I mean yeah we should talk each other so I’m sure he is yeah but uh um I don’t know I think he’s I I think he’s playing the game the way he thinks he he wants to and it’s and like the whole thing is is like if he stops backing it up then you’re going to be like yeah he’s I mean it’s highis high reward it’d be kind of pathetic if he couldn’t back it up but he is backing it up and I do think I do think it’s a mental advantage and I think I think that’s why he does it yeah um I mean the the the only thing that makes me concerned a little bit not concerned but what the the person that we’ve seen this do in the past was Jay Law and I’ve already I already think that J that Hayden’s doing more I mean than Jay law has I mean even though J law won the title La not jet Lawrence yeah we have a new JW yeah but it’s not he’s jet okay he’s Jetson all right U I’m with you though um anyway so I would hope that I hope it doesn’t turn out to that like I don’t want I don’t want it to see that I want to see him continue to be like that great and you know I like it he just has to keep backing it up like I I I enjoy it I don’t think that he’s telling anybody that has an ear that he’s better than anybody no he’s mentally beating those guys he’s playing the mental game and it’s working he’s he technically didn’t even lose any points this week because of a penalty and stuff so he’s he’s fine like okay yeah all right we will now do the Barnett clutch’s clutch performance of the week Barnett dirt digger clutch kits have 75 years of experience behind every kit engineered for maximum performance dirt digger clutch kits feature friction materials formulated exclusively for Barnett get yours at Barnet clutches decom and get 10% off using promo code Vital MX all caps uh Barnett clutches clutch performance of the week who wants to go first not me that’s not you not me you about it’s about the clutch performance of the week and I got to give it to herlings herling is back baby it’s going to be uh he’s going to be on making a run for the points now I just hell of a clutch hell of a performance going 1111 against that competition good job that’s mine Kaylin you got one uh okay for for this weekend yeah just in yeah who yeah for 250 gosh maybe masterpol and yeah Master pool and then for 450 I got Chase Chase and yeah just going out dominating right one-1 and ties Moto one performance was clutch I mean I think they they spent themselves for Moto 2 although Tai was still pretty good in Moto 2 just not definitely not what he was that was I didn’t expect that I really the drop off yeah that was that was and I mean it wasn’t like he he was almost there it was like two minutes it was I think that battle with him and Hayden the first Moto caught up to him um which is fine I mean he’s still second overalls yeah he wasn’t didn’t even have a ride at the beginning of the season so it’s all good like he’s good uh my clutch performance I’m going to go with uh AP he hasn’t been feeling well um he got into the America crowd he’s been known as the American guy and he performed and the crowd went super crazy on him in the podium and he he chugged a Red Bull like waterfall the Red Bull and got everybody hyped up so I want to go with ap for his clutch performance yeah do you think AP will be a guy that like Justin Cooper will start getting more regular podiums yeah I mean like who who in that group who’s going to be the most consistent third place guy from that here on out it’s hard to say cuz I mean here let me keep let me pull up results I mean look just think about the guys that are left like there I know but hold on I want to put math to this Justin Cooper well we don’t have that much time because we gotta on it won’t take me long um Jason Anderson barca’s obviously out just like of those three guys in particular I told you I was doing something I know but we’re out of time I needed you to be ready so uh no I think AP and Justin Cooper are going to be the top the the two the guys most consistently on the I I would say if I had to pick one I’d pick AP over Justin Cooper yes okay I might be wrong but that’s what I would pick yeah I don’t know I don’t know how I think Justin’s going to be more consistent on that um I’m trying to get Garrett on and we’re not getting an answer yeah I think I think Justin Cooper’s gonna kind of almost be consistently the third place guy let’s see if he’s there six five um okay talk about talk about what you have coming up at Swan Caitlyn while I try to get okay uh we have the 33rd Pro challenge coming up and gosh for the money for the pros is $27,400 wow that’s more than it’s ever been right yes yeah and we’re going back to the two-day format yes that’s a big one like and we’re adding some exciting stuff in this year we’re going to do a whip contest a whip contest I I won’t be competing in that so we’re I think we’re going to do big text oh yeah what about what about you are you going to do no I’m no do you have a worst whip category cuz I can do that but whip I’ll I’ll do some boner ears I can do those um but whoever gets the best whip 1,000 bucks to them like Deering the race or is it going to be like a specific contest it’s a specific contest oh sweet that after yeah um gosh uh I think we might have some fireworks a and hopefully y’all uh I’m going to have to say that y’all set the bar pretty dang high on the fireworks show last year so y’ y you better not disappoint and we’re all watching you got everybody hyped up last year yeah your mom sent this text so yeah 33rd annual Pro challenge September 27th 28th and 29th 2000 uh 2024 Tyler Texas so if you guys are anywhere within East Texas area $30,000 purse will the SMX be over by then yeah it’s like the week before I think okay yeah um $27,400 Pros only $2,600 vets two-day Moto format uh see 110 oryan pit bike first place yes future what TJ wants a suron class don’t listen to him future classes 50 65 85 125 school boy 250b and 250c um let’s see here also Lone Star series round six is in the mix with all the classes two-day Moto format with that to moto one Saturday Moto 2 Sunday so check out Swan mx.com if you’re in this area definitely swan’s one of the staple tracks in the area there’s a lot of you know I’ve seen a lot of Pros like big names out there before so there’s a lot of guys that since the SMX and everything has been kind of weird the last couple years I haven’t seen the pro TR out there as much as I used to but I mean it wasn’t long ago where S A lot of those guys race that so hopefully hopefully we get some bigger names out there this year hopefully the scheduling works out that way that’s what we’re hoping for nothing from yet so we’re going to jump into the t-bolt USA top five uh t-bolt USA if you’re a pit bike Enthusiast we just talked about pit bikes and love shredding around on a crf110 or klx110 or just whatever you have TBO usa.com should be bookmarked on your web browser tbot USA is a pit bike Supply site that has everything you need for your pit bike from bbr handlebars to DNM shocks and even full bikes from ycf and pitster pro bikes T t-bolt USA has it they even have stuff for the Chinese bikes that are so difficult to find so you’ll find all your pit bike parts engines engine stuff anything you need at tbolt usa.com the topic for tonight’s t-bolt USA top five is worst gifts ever received or given next week top five horror movies that was sent in to us as a suggestion Moto xpod show atgmailcom if you want to get in on that um you want to do your gifts first or you want yeah I can go are you prepared for that one yeah I got those let’s go um so they’re kind of super like specific like pretty random okay um so one of my family members they when they do stockings every year they put tangerines in it I know that’s like an old I know it’s like a Christmas tradition like I don’t like tangerines and like didn’t know that was trans I didn’t know that was a tradition yeah apparently two out of three people in here have got them so I’ve never I’ve get them every year and they just sit there and rot and so I just iied to just throw them away now but went in front of them so you to get home then you forget about it and then you like you pull like this you got like this sock and it’s got yeah okay anyway so that’s one of them um another one is is golf balls because like I was mentioning earlier I have like a specific golf ball I like and it’s it’s kind of expensive so I don’t I don’t expect people to buy that one but they they like oh Scotty likes golf let me buy them golf balls then they give me these ones that aren’t very good yeah and I’m never going to use them a bag yeah I have a box of like 50 golf balls that I got like 3 years ago all 50 golf balls I still have so maybe you just use those at the driving range though I could but I mean they they provide you those there I I I want to go like hit them into a lake one day I just never have so maybe maybe that um uh another one is is books I don’t really like books yeah I’m I’m a weirdo by the way I know that’s like unpopular opinion I just i’ rather I think it’s that unpopular I think a lot of people don’t like books I like I like watching like documentaries and interesting stuff and learning stuff I just I’m ADHD reading like I start reading something and I think about what I’m reading and then next thing I know I read a whole page but I have no idea what I just read so that’s probably why I don’t like reading um another one is dark chocolate I don’t I don’t like dark chocolate and it seems to be like I I guess I can put in that category just like some of the gimmicky like stuff that people like the random Christmas stuff that they put out that’s not very good like uh like peeps for Easter time those are yeah I don’t like like stuff like that like I don’t just the weird novelty stuff that’s not very good okay um I what about have you ever given a bad gift no I give great gifts all right all right um I’m trying I was I was actually trying to think of one that I so I guess I’ll use my this is my fifth one I like getting gift cards cuz I I I like especially like my my mom always gives me like some fast food ones so like the next couple of months I’ve got lunch stuff I said my mom it sound like you said my mom my mom giv me gift cards but I don’t I don’t like giving gift cards I like I like doing something like more um thoughtful like I like I really try to get something that I think that they’re going to enjoy unless it’s like getting a gift card like a like a Walmart or Visa gift card that they can go actually like use especially like if they need it you know um but I would say that that would be the one thing I like getting gift cards don’t like giving gift cards Caitlyn you got a top five yes I do okay socks I mean I like a certain sock but also I feel like that’s kind of weird yeah um plants I yeah I can barely take care of my dog I mean I can take care of my dog but I can’t take care of a plant okay no green thumb no no no no um okay soap I don’t know yeah these are all good bad gifts uh body spray gosh some people pick out the worst smells and then what do what do you do with it just store it back there reift it yeah I mean you know oh have have youall ever regifted oh yeah yes for sure I feel guilty for sure um also cards I’m not a big fan of the whole card thing okay really you know like someone’s like write something sentimental you don’t I mean I I like that I don’t like giving someone one I I’d rather just tell you or like make a little video or something okay or like I’d rather make you something special more than having to buy a $20 card at the store or make something so buying cards at yeah $20 yeah cards are expensive they are kind of expensive $20 I don’t think they’re $20 it could be around there okay is that it is that yeah I think that’s yeah okay uh I went I got an electric typewriter one year oh my gosh and I didn’t want an electric typewriter like I I would have liked to have a computer maybe but I didn’t want electric typ rider that’s not what you’re putting out the new vital articles out on no this was when I was like 12 but yeah obviously um my first wife one year got me like a blues like a cassette this is when cassette I mean we still had a cassette player but it was like just one of those like you’d get it out of a bin probably it was like 3.99 it was just some random best of the Blues and it was freaking awful it it was just used to have it no well yeah it might be in a box somewhere but I doubt it what about that typewriter no definitely not that’ll probably worth some money actually um one of my family members gave me a t-shirt that I had zero interest in like it I I don’t want to say too much but it was just a shirt that had like a image on it I was I I’m not even into that that was really bad well I mean they probably could have looked at your tattoos like oh he’d like this sure um getting nothing sometimes just like nothing like from somebody like yeah they get you anything so that’s pretty bad and then I gave my second wife wife some platform boots that I thought were sick she didn’t think she hated them she never wore them one single time yeah they were terrible I thought of I thought of one so okay I was like four yeah um I they had it was like the something anniversary of ET so they like it they had like had like a VHS do you even know what vhs’s are yes I have VHS okay they it was like a re-release of vhs’s so it was like a special edition one somebody bought it for me for my fourth birthday I guess apparently I like would did not like ET and was scared of it and like they gave it to me I looked at it like I’m sure my eyes got super big and I walked across and like handed it to like asked somebody if they wanted it and just gave it to them like right there that’s really funny that’s PR funny oh no didn’t want ET I don’t understand kids that don’t like ET but that’s a common it freaked me out I guess I don’t know four I mean was four we got we did get an email from last week so I’m going to read that that was the one I started reading earlier from AR junor 1986 uh his top five things that keep him up at night were uh my kids if my 16-year-old son is out I cannot sleep I constantly Panic about a home invasion and somebody trying to take my three-year-old daughter and the ninja moves I would put pull to F them up two twoo much caffeine this one is a vicious cycle because it will keep me up and then I will continue to think about how it is keeping me up over and over and over and over trying to tell myself to go to sleep uh another thing keeps him up an eye is fights with his wife or being hot um I don’t yeah I hate being hot I can’t sleep so um those were good those are really good uh yeah okay that’s that’s all those still nothing from Garrett someone said that they bet that you wore the platform heels no no I’m sorry man they wouldn’t fit my feet I tried tried uh all right Evans coolant uh coolant emails let’s see here Evans waterless coolant protects your engine because it always stays liquid steam inside the engine creates hot spots and detonates but with Evans the metal is always liquid cooled used by HRC Honda Factory beta USA and pro factory Yamaha and lots of other teams regardless of sponsorship Evans is in the bikes on the podium uh okay so Scotty this one’s for you and I this is the question that I asked Daxton choose your dirt bike superpower oh wait can you list him again no super speed teleport to anywhere you want to ride in the world your bike is Unbreakable or immune to injury I think I think I would have to go with super speed because if you had super speed then I think you could if you were smart enough you could make all the other things happen I mean obviously you can’t teleport but if you’re fast and if you’re the fastest guy in the world you can go ride wherever you want yeah come yeah Scotty come ride over my track my castle track in England because you’re the fastest guy in the world and I want you to come ride it so okay if you know and like we were saying with daon if like if if my if I’m if I have super speed and my 20% speed wins every race I ever enter Then I don’t have to ride I don’t have to worry about injuries because I’m not riding over my head and I don’t have to wor I don’t have to worry about tearing the bike up because I have just the best skill in the world so I think it doesn’t say best skill though just a super speed maybe you go really fast but then you crash a lot well I said I would just ride like 20% and that would still be fast enough so I’m like I’m not even trying not even thinking about it so faster than Jamie at Swan yeah yeah which he wasn’t yeah when I need to be I can think when I have to when I have to be I can pass all right I was thinking more immune to injury because I feel like then I could try things that maybe I’m not good enough to do and I just won’t get hurt so like you know yeah like a video game yeah like just get right back up and all right let’s try again let me let me get in the best whip contest I’ll just send one there you go so yeah I would throw a sick whip I might not save it but it’s to me it would be either between the injury or the speed but I’ve been fortunate enough knock on wood that I I’ve never really sustained really bad injuries so I’ve I’ve always rode kind of cautiously yeah I don’t really ride over my head so I think that I could use the speed more but the injury one is definitely a good a good choice they’re all like the unbreakable bike’s the only one I I don’t care that much about like I yeah it’s like if I if I’m the if I have super speed and I’m the fastest guy in the world then I’m going to people are going to pay for my bike to get fixed I’m not worried about that Kaitlin a few were riding what one what one would you pick um gosh probably probably immune too yeah I don’t want to get hurt I’m not I’m not the best Rider yeah well me either I don’t want to get hurt all right um got one more here this is a kind of a random one but uh what service would you refuse to pay for huh sorry like I’m doing two jobs I’m sorry what service would you refuse to pay for this might be the worst show we’ve ever done I which don’t we have two guests not answering just all out of sorts you said huh like three times that’s comedic relief um like for me I said my my thought was lawn care I don’t want to pay somebody do my yard I’ll do my own damn yard yeah I don’t know I have to think about that one for a second go ahead Kaitlin okay probably it probably have to be like Netflix or like you refuse to pay for it yeah steal somebody else would be HBO Max gosh you don’t want to pay for like a a streaming service at all no well I’m on my friend’s HBO Max account right now and gosh I’ve been binging go if anyone else is watching Game of Thrones Game of Thrones in House of the Dragons there you go come up with one yeah uh any like well I wouldn’t pay for certain things whatz okay that that’s that’s what you got yeah I don’t yeah we I think y pick upand Let’s just say I’m not I don’t I don’t subscribe to only fans yikes yeah okay yikes all right I mean I couldn’t think of anything else Pro X is rooted in racing from Motocross to off-road and supporting teams such as Amo Yamaha Pro Circuit Marsh Banks is not answering this might be a short show to super short show yeah um let’s talk about we’ll give we got a few more minutes here and before we have to run out of stuff that we had topics for you and I riding at Swan what stood out to you about Swan cuz that was maybe the ruddiest I’ve ever seen it Saturday yeah I was tell would normally not like that but I loved it I had so much fun Saturday uh yeah I I was telling my buddy that was that I went there with that it’s that was probably the most technical Swan I’ve ever rode like you had to you usually like the sections that you don’t think about like you’re just wide open you don’t even really think about you had to like oh I have to think about it yeah um so it was definitely interesting I enjoyed the challenge and um yeah like you I been I’d been I’d already put in my laps and I was just like okay cuz we had to leave to go to a birthday party so I knew I wasn’t going to go back out again so I just tried I just wanted to stay out the whole 20 minutes and try to get as many laps in as possible so I’d already kind of put in my fast laps and then you showed up you’re like going like I was just and I was just trying to cruise and then you’re over here cutting my front tire out and and running me off the track and I’m just he you came down after big text you came down and you just I was just cruising and you just like mowed my front tire I just started laughing was like okay I was just trying to get you to ride with me I was just like I just started chuckling cuz it was funny but yeah it was good times I like riding with you it’s fun I liked it just because I need to start riding in ruts like that and getting better at that and I I was not in a great mood so I kind of didn’t care so I was just like let’s see what happens basically jumping into ruts and um yeah I felt like it really helped with I need to do that more often but I think it really helped a lot with was was that was then it feel like there was a lot of people out there was that more than you had expected um definitely gosh well I was working at the front gate with my mom yeah there was a line there there was an overflow at one point um know why I just I just try I don’t pick really by like Who I Really think’s going to win I just pick like the I try to we’re just random yeah just different like cuz it’s pretty obvious that it’s going to be either hunter or chase so yeah I went Chase Hunter Jak coup like I said I think J’s going to start clicking off those third I think it’s pretty much the question now is first and second 1. I don't think Jett not training with Hunter matters. He has been riding so long now that it's muscle memory and his technique is already so good.
He still has Chance to use as a rabbit to chase and his biggest issue battling Chase for this championship is his strength and conditioning training. If Hunter can get a bit stronger I sure it will help him deeper into the motos.
Either way I don't think this championship fight is over and think we should have a few good battles coming up over rest of the outdoors.
Will be interesting to see if Jett can come out for SMX and get the job done with so much time off the bike.
And to answer your question about is this your worst show ever, I think it was by a mile.
Need better co hosts who actually know something about the sport and then your phone guests may answer.

  2. Yo boys another great show thx 💯👍👊. Also just want to say I think Jett having this time off is going to make him miss racing and anxious just sitting on side line watching , I think he is going to come back even better , after a rest & some time to himself etc then back to business winning races 👍.

  3. Chase has more fans than Jett in the states. Jett is losing fans in the states, I would go as far as saying Hunter has more fans than Jett in the states.
