today we’re going to be doing an alltime Nebraska football fantasy draft as you can see on your screen I’m joined with two fantastic Nebraska football YouTubers they’re at the top Justin Adams with the Nebraska voice of college football and in the middle coach ba with the ba coaches show and we’re going to be compiling a list of our alltime Nebraska team so we’re going to try to compete to make the best team all time and Justin let’s just start off with you what’s your philosophy before we get into this draft I don’t know if I have one again uh chips falling where they may let’s see what I Come Away with and have a lot of fun doing it and um yeah let’s just hope we uh are we are we going is character counted into this Noe nope just Talent just Talent we’re good then and Coach ba what’s your philosophy offense defense what is it hey I uh normally I’m an offensive coach but uh I leaned into the history of the black shirt so I’m kind of going defensive heavy on a lot of my research today and throughout this whole thing since I wasn’t around for a lot of these guys I decided that I want winners the coaching me wants winners on this team so I went through if you’re a national champion multiple time National Champion you’re high on my draft board today all right let’s say set the framework for the draft as you can see there on the screen each team will be drafting two quarterbacks two running backs two wide receivers and then one tight end offensive lineman D tackle DN linebacker DB kicker kicker Turner and of course a legendary Nebraska coach I will be going first I’ll make our first selection then Justin then Coach ba and then it will reverse So ba will have two picks in a row and so on so let’s just start it off with the draft I have the first overall pick and when I was deciding where to go here I was thinking do I go with the legendary coach Tom Osborne do I go with Tommy Frasier to lead the troops on offense I’m gonna go with the most dominant defensive player in the history of college football and dakon Sue up in the middle of our dline all right domicans Su again I uh assumed that would be your pick so I’m going to go a different route and oh man I’m torn here because I I wanted in domicans Su first I had no order where we’re gonna go so now I’m torn between to and uh Tommy Frasier and Johnny the jet but I think I’m gonna go Tom Osborne I’m just gonna start out Tom Osborne legendary coach and then hope I can fill in the gaps with the players all right ba you’re up hey I’m going with probably one of my favorite players completely on this list I know he’s highing all your guys’ board I’m going Tommy Frasier the quarterback of probably the best college football team to ever exist all right so we’re going in reverse order so now ba will go again then me or than Justin and then me all right so I know I said I’m leaning defensive but since I got two picks back to back I got to pick this offensive guy as controversial as controversial as it may be I’m going Lawrence Phillips with this pick wow interesting I like it I like it all right I’m next I’m next up right oh yeah so give me oh man Johnny the jet Rogers baby there we go all right the board did not fall great for me I wanted Johnny the jet there with my next pick I feel like running backs are didn’t come off the board so I’m going to take in my opinion the best ever do it the only Heisman win running back for Nebraska Mike roier that was my that was the other one I was thinking so I got one offensive guy one defensive guy do I get a quarterback here do I stick it with the defense I think I’m gonna go with a coach actually and get the Bob father Bob Dean I like it I like it all right I am next up so I think I am going to go let’s see I think I’m gonna go Irving frier there we go Irving frier just a little little Do-it all type of guy and I Swiss army knife so I got a couple of versatile guys so far one of the only wide receivers to go first the first pick in the NFL draft yes sir all right with this pick I got coming up I got one of my favorite players of all time Levante David he wasn’t at Nebraska for very long but he was a dominant Force when he was here the Eraser sir man I wanted to pair him up with Sue so bad man that’s a and uh with this back-to-back pick uh like I said I’m going heavy defense I’m going to go with another one of my favorite players of all time a three-time champ and a back-to-back All-American Grant wistrom there we go are you putting him at D tackle or D end I’m putting him at D end all right Justin back to you you got two wide receivers already but no back maybe that changes here I actually think I might go o line here okay and get me Mr Dave Remington okay there we go yeah I feel like I need to address the o line as well but I’m GNA hold out just a little bit longer and finally get my quarterback I’m gonna go with Turner Gil more underrated Nebraska Huskers all time and with my second pick I feel like I got to go back to the defense you know I already have an adamak Kan Su on that dline might as well get another one in my opinion the second best Nebraska defensive player ever Rich Glover we’ll put him at the D end spot like that all right back to you Justin all right um let me go I’m I’m still think I’m gonna wait on quarterback but I’m not sure in what order you’ll have them ranked there’s a quarterback that I have my eye on but I’m wondering how far I should let it go so um let me go ahead and get myself a dend and Randy Gregory oh it’s good pick all right I like it so far yep all right your turn ba all right someone I have I’m going DB here he set the school record for interceptions in a season I’m going Josh bulock with this pick I like that wow okay I had Prince up there pretty high but I kind of like this pick I like I thought you going Prince there for a second and then I uh with my next pick here something that has driven Nebraska fans crazy for a long time ESP special teams right and some I just decided I’m gonna take him out of the way early because we’re gonna be completely good if we get this thing past Midfield I’m going the best college kicker Alex Henry I love it there we go I almost call dibs on him before we started but I don’t all right was that both your picks yep okay so I am going to probably try to get a running back here I think I’m gonna go oh man I’m gonna start with Alan Green okay I’m I’m I have a tossup between Alan Green and somebody else but we’ll see how this goes well you just made the decision a lot easier for me I was thinking or air now I gotta go a yeah he he he was first up on my board there I have those two like like threea and 3B behind Rosier and uh Lawrence Phillips all right let’s go to defense here with my second pick I’m gonna go Prince and mukara I like it good pick all right back to you Justin all right I’m goingon to go I’m GNA go get my quarterback real quick before I lose him Eric Crouch favorite quarterback of my child or Me growing Up essentially I was 11 in 2001 in the N championship game so Eric Crouch is my childhood quarterback that I remember all right ba all right I need to get a running back here I’m going to go he was one of my favorite players as a kid uh he may not be I guess one of the most popular picks but I’ll say I love him Rex Burkhead I think he’s a stud the second you said one of your favorite players time I was thinking Rex Rexy Rexy all right now I’m really glad I went running back so then uh with my second pick here uh in this round I’m going to go get a wide receiver here and I’m gonna pick one of the most explosive players on this board Trey Palmer man I was hoping he was gonna fall to me good pick all right Justin all right so I am probably going to let me get myself a Lineback here I think because y’all both got defensive backs okay one got a linebacker all right wide receivers are about to start falling so I need to get a wide receiver uh let me go with Stanley Morgan Jr I think I’ll go St Justin you already have two wide receivers oh my bad Sho can’t get more than two my fault my fault I was reading I think I was reading the wrong wrong line there um all right running back let me just secure actually no let me go uh linebacker Jerry marog Mr H Mr huster all right I need to get a YC I was hoping that Trey was gonna fall to me but I’m gonna go with one of my favorite players all time and you said it before but you can’t draft him Stanley Morgan Dam I might just double up here on wide receivers I’m gonna get Kenny [Music] Bell I had um I had let’s see what was my order on wide receiver I had Johnny Rogers Stanley Morgan Kenny Bell right in that order too um all right my turn uh let’s see if I can read my positions right this time around okay so D tackle uh I’m gonna hold off on D tackle actually let me just go another running back I’m gonna go ahead and get so we got Rexburg head’s gone right yep okay so give me oh man I’m between Doug do boast I am hip and Roy helloo give me Roy H there we go all right ba all right I am going here with my offensive lineman fantastic player names on the stadium and a fantastic just representation of the program I’m going will Shields man figured somebody was going to take him sooner rather than later but I think I got my lineman figured out anyways all right another pick here ba and then in my D Tackle Spot I’m going very recent player here I think he’s one of the best D linemen in the country I’m going Nash Hut mocker wow interesting only recent player with drafted confidence with him I like that wow I like it all right um let me go ahead and get all right I’ll get Jason Peter um at um sorry at D tackle I just drew a blank my mind all right I feel like I got to get my lineman here I’m gonna take Dominic riola inside that was my third one on the list yeah and then it’s tough here I want to secure I want to secure a kick returner actually I’m going to take one of my recent most favorite players don’t punt to this man to mate Pearson now baby I like it I like that a lot um can um Can Johnny Rogers return my punts nope got gotta get another guy all right worth the shot um let me go ahead and [Music] snug this is tough uh because Trey Palmer’s taken right yep man okay so let go return uh Bobby Nukem return yeah that was on my list I was talking to I was talking to Wilson about Bobby Nukem before as one of my uncle’s favorite players ba all right so I was gonna go coach but I kind of don’t need to worry about Coach right now since you guys already have yours so I’m gonna actually go with my kick returner here a lot of people don’t think of him as a kick returner but he was kind of sneaky good as Niles Paul he helped set up a lot of good field position yep I think he’s second he has the second most kick return yardage of any Nebraska player all time yeah people don’t think of him all right second pick your ba I am going to go with I I’ll throw in uh Jordan Wester camp at wide receiver that’s where go Westy yep still no tight ends on the board that’s crazy see how long that rides out um listen all right I’ll go uh let’s see I’ll go tight end no I’ll go tight end let’s go um between Matt harrian and Junior Miller let’s go Junior Miller good pick I hope hope I pick right Junior Miller let’s do it all right I’m gonna GNA start off with my quarterback want to backup quarterback under Turner Gill that he can develop a little bit might as well just take one of the most talented players I believe that is going to put on the Nebraska uniform I’m going to take Dylan Rola okay okay I do like it though I like it I debated putting him on my board now I just couldn’t do it and then at linebacker I’m gonna take lante David before Levante David give me Terrell Farley I like that I like that um for me defensive back oh wait because I need oh I need a backup quarterback um defensive back’s good let me go Jerry taggy oh shoot wrong one all right ba all right I’m going to go tight end here with Matt harion and second pick I am going to go what do I got left backup quarterback yep I’m gonna go he was one of my favorite players completely growing up as Taylor Martinez I thought tart might come off the board still still have dreams about his run against Wisconsin in the Big 10 title game don’t don’t talk about the rest of the game there that a great highlight along with that Kenny Kenny we can talk about all right Justin couple more picks left all right for a kicker um let’s go actually Chris Brown and pick and then I’m gonna finally take my tight end this guy honestly pretty underrated crew with Nebraska most recently sethan Carter yeah had a pretty good NFL career as well and then one more pick for me I’ve got to take my Kicker I’m gonna take Drew Brown I don’t know how I left Drew Brown off my damn list but but all right one more Brown I got I like I like the Chris the Browns okay not not the rapper yeah in that right there one more pick Justin defensive back I’m going Ralph Brown here we go and then ba you have a coach left and Bob Deany and Tom Osborne are gone who’s gonna be your choice you guys took you guys took the shut up you guys took the championship winning coaches right off the board early and I said you know what I’m fine with that I was fine with you guys doing that cuz I got someone who I named my son after and I got somebody who’s going to get get these boys fired up I’m going Bo Pini oh my goodness dang you did not I was freaking solish bro I was the entire time hey no no no hey the most hate I’ve ever gotten on this is defending Bo Pini so I I’m rocking with him man tough nose I like I like FY you need all right so that is the draft looking at this man I mean all the teams are pretty much stack real old school I just realized that I think you’re showing you’re the oldest one out of us yeah probably so I don’t now what scheme are you guys running here with your teams I mean let’s start off with you Justin you have an option quarterback jet Irvin frier what are you running offensively with this team we’re just running oh yeah I don’t know what’re but we’re running we’re having the ball in our hands it’s not leaving our we’re not throwing we’re we’re GNA get some motions going around we’re gonna get Johnny the Jet and Irvin Fri we’re gonna have a positionist Matt rule offense under Tom osor with Johnny the jet Irving fer Eric Crouch am on green you know this you know how we do so we’re going to be running the ball and we’re going to get behind our defense and ba you got a mix of everything here I mean you got Tommy you got Tommy Frasier Rex Burke h on our team Lawrence Phillips but then Trey Palmer and Wester came hey that’s kind of an explosive offense defense you don’t know what you’re getting hit with with my group my group can hit you from a lot of different angles here hey I think I think I got the best D line I mean domicans Su Rich Glover got D Rola there on the o line all right so that is our team let us know in the comment section who is the best one we’re going to be putting that on social media a little graphic and
