that’s all I know all right if you are Weeping when we’re winning we’re going to have to have a conversation Jen we’re going to have an indepth conversation if you’re weeping and we’re winning all right you should be motivated you want to you love the player but now you want to show him why he shouldn’t have left why you should have stayed all right so um man don’t be weeping because we’ll be winning that game you know I don’t think Gardner mchu or AO Connell are exactly going to give us a run for our money hey you never know crazier things have happened you know I get that but listen I’m just saying all right so we got we gota hey we gotta got to keep it real on this channel um Jen says she might need an IV oh my God Knight’s out here giving her giving her you know advice on how to stay hydrated fins in now says those are not tears that’s just sweat coming down exactly those are just sweat out of your tear Ducks that’s it it’s not tears it’s not tears trust these words if fins are the first to win 13 games we will have that home field advantage for the division not a wild card game listen if you give me home if if you give this team HomeField Advantage for the division they’re winning that game and listen that that you know one of the key re key recipes you know sorry one of the key ingredients to the New England Dynasty recipe was how many times did they get HomeField Advantage starting off in the divisional skip that wild card no need to play that game anything can happen right that’s basically that’s basically where you’re at anything can happen in the NFL so uh that that’s you only got to one win win one game and you’re in the AFC Championship that’s it that’s it you got to win one game at home and then you’re Auto think about it man you only got to win three games to win the Super Bowl now much easier said than done you know the way I just stated it you would see seem like it’s easy but it’s not clearly just ask the Baltimore Ravens um you know so that’s it just win enough to win the division to win your the AFC and get that HomeField advantage and you got an easy way that’s why you know you can hear the chattering of knees and teeth throughout the NFL when the Kansas City Chiefs win the conference and get HomeField advantage and only got to win one game in the in the in the AFC Championship because everyone knows what time it is now I’ll say this it’s going to take more than 13 wins to probably win the AFC this year let’s be honest it takes a lot it’s probably going to take 14 or 15 wins John fear um John hold on let me bring this up John fiorino says secured my got my training camp tickets love going to these practices brother I have been trying for the past two hours to get two tickets to each day of joint practice with Atlanta and for some reason Ticket Master I’m either getting an experiencing technical difficulties try again or what’s happening is like I’ll I’ll I’ll set two quantity of two in each practice I’ll press add to cart and it’ll like reset the whole page and nothing’s been added to my my cart so I’m trying to get for August 6th and what is it 6th and 7th I believe I’m trying to get training camp tickets for the ATL joint practices and for some reason it’s not working so I’m going to try again tonight if they’re not gone you know what I mean but I’m sure like come time someone’s probably gonna have tickets for him I could get tickets or whatever but I’m trying man I’m trying I’m trying to get two for each of those for you know me or ball game or whatever and I for some reason it’s just not working I don’t know what’s going on so and then I talked to my wife and she said she was having problems with Ticket Master earlier today so um what dates I’m I’m it’s the uh joint practices what is this let me just be sure let me just I think it’s this August 6th and 7th let me just I can verify with you right now hold on uh yeah it’s August 6 and 7th so now I was trying from my mobile device so I’ll try from um my desktop but yeah I’m trying man I’m trying so and I’m trying to get an extra one just in case either uh you know um ball game or my boy from uh Joey from finhub or whatever want to roll with me you know what I mean cuz that’s probably going to be what the deal is so Nick don’t worry already on that my friend already on that my guy so um it’s just I’d rather I’d like to have the tickets just in case that doesn’t work out but um don’t worry I’m already on that so all right uh oh hey Britney let me know if you’re down let me know if Britney if you’re down if you can get days off for six and seven to come down to training camp so I’m telling you my wife is like yo you are going to this and I’m sitting here like my wife can’t take time off to watch our my kids and it’s in the middle of the week my kids actually aren’t in Camp that week they’re in let’s figure this out they’re in Camp all of July and then at the beginning of August they stop at Camp so we might even have to put them in Camp early later sorry might have to put them in Camp an extra week my mom can’t take time off and watch the kids my wife can’t take time off and watch the kids you know so I got to find a babysitter to watch them for two days or I basically you know got to put them in Camp for another week so see how it works out but the plan is I want to come down for those ATL joint practices so uh and Link with my people like Alf and such you know that’s the deal so um yeah aiming for the sixth and seventh and if I do not come down for training camp which hopefully is not you know doesn’t go down that way then I’ll just come down for a sec a minimum a second game this year because in all truth I was going to come down for training camp the Raiders game and then wait to see how the playoffs play out and if we have home if we have a home game in the playoffs come down for that you know what I mean all right so Britney’s in all right so we got it we got it locked in all right so um yeah so the plan is hey I could be down in in Miami in a month so we’ll see what’s good that’s the plan so if any of you around let me know we’ll do a little bit of a Meetup all right uh and if Jennifer and Britney come then I will bring bodyguards for them just to fend some of you off all right you already know what time it is all right I will Chuck I appreciate you sir thank you thank you why not go undefeated again easier said than done you know what’s crazy like did the Patriots have an undefeated season am I the only one who says you did not have an undefeated you had an undefeated regular season but you didn’t have an undefeated season you know I’m just saying just saying good old Eli that’s why yo Eli and it always brings me back to this Eli is a Hall of Fame quarterback anyone who says different is crazy Eli Manning is definitely because you know what Payton probably goes to sleep every night winning he had that clutch Gene that Eli had I’m just saying and Eli’s ability to brush off the last play or a bad play man it’s that was something else you got to give Elias credit for that now obviously I mean we get into the David Tyreek catch and luck obviously has to be involved but you know and what’s crazy is like Payton was one of the most cerebral quarterbacks we’ve ever seen ever the guy was like having an offensive coordinator on the field and in the Huddle problem was he was the type where he always had a problem shaking off the last play you know yeah your connection’s bad you can’t hear me I know you heard it um all right so let’s let’s keep going let’s get into this um let’s start off with I guess a topic on Twitter today and it’s this this article by Greg kot from the Miami Herald says the Miami Dolphins are disrespecting insulting Tua with ongoing contract to bacle the Miami Dolphins have never had Full Faith and total belief In Tua Tong of AOW or anything close to it not in four years and now as his Fifth Season dawns it has been an embarrassment to the franchise and an insult to the quarterback the whole NFL can see it and tongue ofo can surely feel it as the disrespect continues with ongoing contractual impass the Dolphins vote of confidence in their 2020 number one draft pick early in his career was to Plum the shadows in search of his replacement behind his back but open enough to be reported first they angled to sign an available to Shawn Watson and later moved on to Tom Brady the latter exploration costing Miami a first round pick in a league penalty for and in the league penalty for tampering as Tong of aloa Twisted in the wind for a time his concussion issues cast understandable doubt on his long-term future but last season was a breakthrough year in all ways no concussions no injuries played every game for the first time and boyed by a strong ground game in Elite receiving corpse if not a great offensive line tangaloa excelled led the NFL in passing yards threw for a personal best 29 touchdowns and was named Pro Bowl starter it was his second season in a row with the pass rating over 100 but that fourth year is when he became the starting quarterback the team imagined and hoped he would be when they drafted him fifth overall now he’s up for the Mega Money contract extension but the Dolphins lack of faith and belief in tangaloa has apparently returned the this contract negotiation has been the club’s chance to finally and firmly demonstrate that faith and belief and the club is blowing it and the Damage might already be done as Tango has not hidden his disappointment that a deal has not gotten done by now as he sees quarterbacks all over the league enriched with big contract extensions I mean I’m not blind to people that are in my position that are getting paid he said the market is the market that was more than a month ago he said that Tong has asked if it is difficult to separate football from the business side he said yeah 100% 100% he admitted with surprising cander I just want to get something done I just want to get something done as for a word to describe how he feels quote probably ansy he said that too was more than a month ago now training camp Looms with rookies reporting next week and Veterans later on July 23rd and with no contract extension yet agreed upon because the team is lowballing its quarterback the club has put tongue blow in a position where an ugly hold out from Camp seems increasingly possible the other top quarterbacks from his draft Joe burrow Justin Herbert Jaylen Herz have already been rewarded each signing contract extensions worth between 51 and 55 million per year those deals typically include between 75 and 80% of the total and guaranteed money that is the going rate for a top Young quarterback you believe in it is what tongo means when he says the market is the market burrow Lawrence gof Mahomes Herbert Jackson and Herz comprise the 50 a million a year Club tangaloa should be the eighth and next member but the Dolphins are boing instead including incentives he must meet because they obviously are still spooked by the chance concussions will reappear tongo is 97.1 career passing rating dwarf Lawrence is 85 by the way so does Tong of below is 81 to 37 touchdown interception ratio versus Lawrence 58 to39 yet Jacksonville lavished a new deal for Lawrence with the faith and belief in their guy that Miami has always and still lacks into a tongue of aloa Miami general manager Chris Greer said after last season a contact extension for Tong low was a priority not good enough the priority needs to be an extension that meets fair market value a deal done before training camp the question is simple enough do the Miami Dolphins after four years finally have full faith and belief in the quarterback embarrassingly they are failing miserably to answer yes by their negotiations thus far okay here’s the thing I kind of alluded to this in a sense I’ve talked about this from the standpoint of once again again we are watching the Miami Dolphins having the chance to get out ahead of a narrative surrounding and swirling their franchise quarterback to a Tong of aloa and once again they’ve dropped the ball I’ll tell you a story about DeShaun Watson so one of the straws that broke the camels back from what I understand with DeShaun Watson and this is the stuff too I had to put up with you know Chris Greer when he originally looked into the DeShaun Watson trade with the Houston Texans he came back to Ross and [Music] um Chris Greer and said you know sorry came back to Ross and Flores did Greer and said it’s too expensive it’s going to cost us too much in draft capital and it’s going to cost us too much in financial Capital it’s too expensive of a move we’re not doing that Chris Greer then went off and did his on his marry away and did his own thing but Brian Flores got into contact with Nick cerio they knew each other from their time in New England together and Flores basically worked out a deal for Deshaun Watson and then he brought that worked out deal to the desk of Steven Ross stepen Ross then turned around and Greer found out Greer blew his lid and it really start started getting bad around that time that that was the first big wave of like okay we this guy it’s not working we got to move on and you know if Greer found out because I got circulated through the building you think Tua didn’t find out see that’s the thing you think Tua didn’t know how close they were in terms of looking into DeShaun Watson and specifically Brian Flores you remember I was the first one to break the argument at the half at half time in the Tennessee Miami game between Flores and Tua when Tua stood up after Flores was talking to Tua one way and talking to other players this way and he basically said you can’t talk I don’t know who you think you are you can’t talk to us that way you can’t talk to players this way blah blah blah blah blah and it got heated now obviously I’m giving you the you know friendly version of the conversation but that was basically the synopsis of the conversation and it blew up in front of the players there and there room got even more divided you know guys like xaven Howard and such were on two his side while you had guys like Byron Jones who was on you know um who who was on Brian flores’s side because he was his teacher pet like we go back to that comment remember a couple years ago when the player you know got quoted saying that they thought they were wasting time with Tua you know for me that was either uh you know I I I I I have maintained to this day I’m pretty sure that was Byron Jones because if you listen to how it was worded he clearly might have been alluding to Dak and such I thought it was Brian Jones Byron Jones from the beginning I still think he was and I think he was a mouthpiece for Brian Flores to an extent that’s why when Brian Flores got the heave ho Byron Jones retired he was gone he didn’t want to come back and deal with it um so um hey you listen you can like floor all you want go look at where that defense ranked last year that defense was top 10 last year you know and this defense is going to be even better this year so anyways if you like Flores you’re going to love Weaver um so my whole point is Tua was not only putting up with stuff he was hearing in the media he knew what was going on behind the scenes basically but he played ball I mean we go back to that Atlanta game remember how bad his first half was and then in the second half he came out on fire he actually left the field with the lead with a few minutes left this for you dos turned to Brian Flores with a two-point lead and said okay go take your Elite Championship defense and go win the game I had a rough start but I got us back the lead because he had a fantastic second half and what happened Brian flores’s defense and Brian Flores blew it in the final two minutes giving the middle of the field to Kyle pittz just leaving the seams open for Kyle pittz Matt Ry you know be honest Brian Flores we shouldn’t even have been in that position in that Tennessee game where they got into the argument because if Brian Flores was competent enough at his job we wouldn’t have lost the Jacksonville game nor would we have lost the Atlanta game you win either one of those games and we were in the playoffs that year and those came down to the coach being out coached by Urban Meyer in the final minutes and losing and then him and his defense giving up the giving up the middle of the field in the seams to Kyle pittz and we lost against Atlanta embarrassing embarrassing so anyways to puts up with that Tua puts up with the lawsuit coming out about Tom Brady and how they were looking to get Tom Brady to with anyways puts up with all of this stuff and they get Mike McDaniel and he still want to play ball and what have we what has happen listen aside from the concussions he’s rewarded the Miami Dolphins the last two years first Pro Bowl quarterback to Dawn our uniform since 1995 30 years almost leads the league in passing sure did he get us the playoff win no that’s the next step in the Evolution but Trevor Lawrence had a playoff win with Herbert choking the game away and statistically it’s not close between who’s been the better quarterback since they entered the league between Trevor Lawrence and tuong woa Herbert choked away a massive lead in the playoffs and he got all that money so listen the disrespect the insulting thing the problem is Trevor Lawrence screwed everything up I don’t think Jordan love will make anything better if he does agree upon an extension with the Green Bay Packers I think that’ll only make it worse cuz I think that number will balloon the market once more now Tua Dak and Jordan love are the next three big quarterbacks up for an extension the similarity and the thing they all have in common is what they all are represented by athletes first you know so uh dos Flores was told allegedly told to lose games in 2020 sorry in 2019 19 I apologize he was not told to lose games in 2020 and 2021 when he was allegedly told to Lost games I’m talking about games that happened in 2021 my friend keep up flores’s last year you think they were allegedly telling him to lose games in his final year please come on use your head a little bit God gave you a brain turn it on so anyways he puts up with all that rewards him becomes the guy Mike McDaniel he makes Mike McDaniel looks like a gen what one of the reason people think Mike McDaniel’s a genius is what because of two his play under him he’s rewarded Mike McDaniel he’s made Mike McDaniel looks smart he’s rewarded uh when the when the check hits he’ll have rewarded Tyreek Hill he’s helped Tyreek Hill be one of the few players that’s earned every dollar he’s been paid by this franchise so listen am I going to sit here and say they’ve insulted and disrespected TOA I can’t sit here and say that you know why I’m not sitting at the negotiation table I don’t know all the details now if you were to come back to me and say reason you know that little math problem you did where you know you took the money and divided it over the actual extension years with burrow and and gof and Lawrence and how burrow has about 29.3 million per year in that extension of real money while you know Lawrence and go have about what 28.4 million now if you were to come to me and said reason here’s the deal you do that little extension they’re only offering about 23 24 million a year per ex of real money per extension year for Tua then I’d be like okay that’s disrespectful but if they’re sitting there at 26 27 million and these guys are off by like a mill or two a year over that span so you know it’s anywhere from 5 to 10 million in guaranteed money I will say that they’re close and that’s a gap you can close if you start talking about like A3 to4 million a year difference in real money now you’re talking about like 15 to 20 million in guaranteed money that’s a difference yeah that’s disrespectful but I don’t know that and I I’ve said this even before the two is extension this is something that’s freaking known the Miami Dolphins are known for lowballing especially initially lowballing in the contract negotiations with their own talent that is not new again that’s why everyone speaking with such confidence that their best deals usually their best offers usually come after training camp before the season starts because then that’s when their ass gets put to the fire now on the flip side when you look at it objectively athletes first could very well be a problem in this situation they could have made a respectable offer but athletes first was like no we wait we want more let’s see we’re cuz they know how close they are in the daak deals they know how close they are in the Jordan love deal let let me tell you this if they’re offering you 52 million a year let’s just go by API okay all right or no let’s go by real money so let’s do that 29.3 to 28.4 all right if they’re offering you all right 130 135 million guaranteed and you’re looking to get into that 150 145 of real money guaranteed so you’re off by like 10 million right if you’re if you’re looking to get into that area that range that ballpark and they know Jordan Love’s about to get $145 million guaranteed and he has an even smaller sample size than Tua and regular season wise he hasn’t looked as good as Tua has what do you think they’re going to say no wait he’s going to give us more ammo for us to bring to the table that’s exactly what they’re going to say we want to get into 145 150 million range well guess what Tua we’re doing Jordan Love’s contract right now he’s going to be in that 145 million range we’re going to be able to throw it in the Dolphin’s face again and say see another team believes in their guy and he has an even smaller sample size than you and they’re going to say the mar this is the market this is fair I’m just saying like there’s so many possibilities I don’t I can’t sit here and say who’s disrespecting who or who’s insulting who you know it’s very bold of Greg cotay to say because we don’t know now if details leak out after the deal’s done or before the deal is done and we see stuff that’s seem then sure okay but we don’t know like do we know if the incentives they’re trying to put into the contract are disrespectful or worth boing at or are they reasonable given to his injury history heading back to Alabama again we don’t know this great cot don’t know the contract deals that are on the on the table right now none of us do except to his representation to his family in the Miami Dolphins so you’re not going to catch me sitting here and pointing fingers at one or the other side I just I don’t know enough details we are ignorant to the real details that’s a fact and I think it’s unfair to say oh this person’s disrespecting this person or this person’s dis there could be plenty of factors why this is not done right now we’ve talked about it guaranteed money and the finer details of the contract because I’ve heard I’ve told all all this for weeks and weeks that the framework’s been pretty much agreed upon and it’s known that’s where some of the frustration with two Iz is both camps kind of understand the framework it takes to get done you could go back to Cameron wolf he even kind of hinted that a little bit when golf deal got done and after that he started talking about how two his deal is he even came out and said two his deal is going to came in the come in the golf range then you have guys like Jeff darington and Jeremy Fowler who are a little bit connected more to the family to to his family who I’d say who are coming out and saying well it’s not really in that range like Jeremy fow Jeff Darlington is well connected to the team and well connected to to his family but Jeremy Fowler is like super connected to to his family and to athletes first and such that’s why Jeremy Fowler’s been the mouthpiece for to a skip time and OTAs when really it was he was going to work at 3dqb and had to fly across the country and then two days later Jeremy Fowler was the one reported oh well Tua Camp did turn down an offer because it wasn’t good enough and then Jeremy fer has been the one to report they’re not coming in a close enough range to Trevor Lawrence and gof to get this done so there’s games being played on both sides here and we all pretty much know go back to Wilkins I think you’re going to see it resurface with Javon Holland do Chris Greer and athletes first have the best negotiation negotiating track record or history no I’m telling you this is coming down to guaranteed money and the incentives but we don’t know what those details are we don’t know whether the incentives laced throughout their offer are worth boing at or are fair given his history we don’t know and anyone who who picks one or the other side of oh the Dolphins are being reasonable or oh the Dolphins are being unreasonable they’re just guessing they’re just guesstimating they’re trying to make as best of an educated guess as possible because they don’t know that’s it we don’t know so listen it is what it is go back to Joe burrow Joe burrow didn’t get his deal done until when like a week before the season started Herbert got his done mid July now burrow took till September probably because the Bengals are notoriously cheap cheap cheap organization on the flip side you know there’s so many possibilities are the Dolphins finally being the team that takes a stand against the quarterback Market I don’t know you tell me so what is holding up this deal well Omar Kelly wrote an article and he went over every single possibility that there could be as to why this deal is being held up right now um so let’s take a look at that um but before we do I want to um shout out Tony rezen Tony rzy says I just got you two tickets for August 6 and got you two tickets for August 6 and 7th appreciate you sir thank you so we got you and Chuck so we’re good to go we’re ready for the crew to come out huh how about Holland I think Holland you know again he’s athletes first Holland wants Big M Market money he not taking No 13 or 14 million I think you’re looking at 16 plus million a year for Javon Holland athletes first has done a damn good job of keeping his name in the conversation for best young safeties with all media Outlets so I yeah I I think yeah Javon Holland that’s going to be a stick a tricky one especially especially if they end up having to franchise to tag to and they can’t get something done cuz now you’d be pressed up and that 40 plus million be hard against the cap now if they get to it done could they franchise tag Javon Holland I don’t know I doubt it because that franchise tag is over 18 million and I don’t see them going hard to the cap for 18 million against Javon Holland just my opinion though so what’s sticking the sticking point on Tu a Tong ala’s contract negotiations giving Tu a Tong of aloa a massive 7-year 275 million contract like the one Cincinnati gave Joe burrow was crazy talk around this time last year the Miami Dolphins wouldn’t even entertain it and in fact never put a multi-year extension offer on the table Talon’s Camp were told we need to see more in 2023 Tango delivered his second straight Stellar statistical season becoming the NFL’s top passer in term of yardage while leading the League’s top ranked offense was voted to the afc’s Pro Bowl starter and played his first full season of NFL game dis games dispelling his fragile reputation this offseason Tong of aloa impatiently Waits the extension the Dolphins organization promised was coming but it is obvious the two sides are far apart on terms they have two weeks to close the gap before Miami’s starting quarterback begins to play hard ball potentially sitting out some of training camp either as a hold out or hold in or skipping practice sessions like Christian Wilkins did last year after participating in the camps first two weeks let’s examine what the sticking points of Tango’s deal might be how long should the deal be burrow Trevor Lawrence Herbert and Kyler Murray all received 7year deals when they got their extension however all four got their extensions while beginning the final year of the rookie deals and after the fifth year option given two first round picks had been triggered Tanga played on the final year of his rookie deal last season is now on the books for his 50e option which guarantees him 23.1 million for the 2024 season Baker Mayfield Sam darnold and Lamar Jackson are the last three quarterbacks who played on the fifth year option Jackson landed a 5-year $260 million deal with Baltimore instead of playing on the franchise tag last season M uh Mayfield found a home in Tampa Bay last season but isn’t a top 10 paid quarterback and darnold’s in the NFL backup last year Jaylen Herz a second rounder in the same 2020 draft as tongoa received a six-year deal or 255 million and that might be the length of the deal Miami is comfortable with but a 7-year deal doesn’t seem to be in the cards what should his signing bonus be the size of the signing bonus roster bonuses and option bonuses often determines how cap friendly the contract is because those figures are usually divided up by the length of the contract for no more than 5 years however the signing bonus option bonuses and roster bonuses often come down to how liquid the team’s owner cash flow is money has never been a problem for Dolphins owner Steve Ross who gave allp pro receiver Tyreek Hill a $50 million signing bonus when he agreed to be traded to Miami in 20122 Tong ofa’s deal is expected to become the largest contract in franchise history burrow received a $40 million signing bonus Lawrence received a $37.5 million signing bonus but jarro G got a $73 million signing bonus from Detroit and Jackson got 72.5 million in a signing bonus golf signing bonus sets the NFL bar for the highest given a league history but it’s unrealistic to think tongo would get that much considering he hasn’t accomplished as much as golf who led a team to the Super Bowl and and also deep into the NFC playoffs last year and Jackson who is a two-time MVP winner could average be per year be a sticking point this is a bit of a fraudulent number because of how NFL contracts are structured the fact that they aren’t guaranteed and how deals are often irresponsibly reported usually NFL contracts are backloaded with high salary years the team will never honor like Hill’s 45 million salary in 2026 which bumps his average up from 24 million a season his real cash earning to 30 million which is his fake average just to artificially inflate the averages a better indicator of what a player makes is his annual cash flow for instance burrow will earn 42. million a year during the first four seasons of the extension he signed last September Herbert will earn 38.7 a year during the first 5 years of the deal however there are seven quarterbacks burrow Lawrence scoff momes Herbert Jackson and Herz who average 50 million a season and Tango and his Camp are adamant about him becoming the eth the Viewpoint was made abundantly clear to to a Tong of repeated the market is the market while addressing the new deals his fellow quarterbacks were receiving however who cares what the actual average per year of the contract is most quarterback deals get reworked after three seasons the Dolphins should be more focused on the average they will actually pay tongoa in terms of cash value for the guaranteed port por of his deal so what does the guaranteed money need to be this is the final and probably most important sticking point in these negotiations because everyone associated with the NFL knows the only real number in contracts that matter are the guaranteed dollars but there’s a catch that because there’s levels of guaranteed money fully guaranteed is what the players get when the deal is signed that’s the king of all contract figures then there’s guaranteed money for injury which protects players in case of catastrophic injury that cost them a season or career most teams throw a couple million or half years based salary on contracts after the guaranteed money has concluded and then there’s triggered guarantees for instance if Jackson’s on the Ravens roster for the fifth day of the 2024 League year he will have his 2025 base salary of 20.25 million and a 750,000 roster bonus become guaranteed if on the roster on the fifth day of the 2025 League year 29 million of his 52 million salary in 2026 will be fully guaranteed most quarterbacks have similar triggers but comes down to the details of the deal as for tongoa the starting point on guaranteed money is his 23.1 million 5ifth year figure which is already guaranteed and then one year of the non-exclusive franchise tag 43 million which is Miami’s break in case of emergency protection if a deal doesn’t get done so basically he’s saying around 66.1 million if you include those two numbers it should be around the signing bonus T’s Camp would at least need a thirdy year of salary guaranteed based on how teams including the Dolphins generally structuring extensions say the Dolphins value Tong below at 45 million to 50 million a season which is what atlantea gave Kirk Cousins when he picked the Falcons over Minnesota as an unrestricted free agent this spring then a baseline projection for Tango is fully guaranteed money is somewhere between 110 to 116 million but it all depends on the length of the deal five or six years and how many years will be of guaranteed money the Dolphins are willing to offer in the contract GF received 113.5 million in fully guaranteed money but his practical number is 148.5 million when injury guarantees and triggers are worked in Herz received 110 million in fully guaranteed money Jackson got 135 in fully guaranteed but we’ll likely see every dollar of his fiveyear $260 million deal because of the triggers Burrow’s 146.54 trying to surpass because Lawrence’s deal falls short of that 200 million in guaranteed money it was reported as 142 million is fully guaranteed then there are two team option years in 2029 and 2020 in the seven year deal to surpass burrow the Dolphins would have to agree to pay Tango of 49 million a season during the first three years of his contract or 36.7 million through the first four which might be a sticking point negotiations for quarterback who has durability issues I mean again what do I I’ve been saying it’s coming down to guaranteed money in the structure and I’ve talked about these exact same things the injury bonus is what I’ve talked about I’ve also talked about the roster bonuses about players needing to be on on the roster by a certain day like if if if I give you let’s say let’s just throw a number out there okay let’s take Trevor Lawrence’s deal if I give you 142 of real guaranteed money but 200 million in guaranteed when you include roster bonuses um injury incentives and all that kind of stuff like you know that’s the thing like you could say you could make the argument like Tua do you have faith that you will produce enough and you will stay healthy enough to be on the roster when those dates happen so those bonuses get activated and so you can and then on top of that meet your you know playtime incentives you know now to reach and get every single dollar of the contract including the non-guaranteed stuff you’d have to like you know all Pros AFC Championship appearances division you know winning the division etc etc um again I’ve said this before you know I know we just went through a bunch of his options on sticking points I don’t you know the average per year okay you want to get in the 50 million range that’s cool I could see that but I don’t think it’s like oh we need to make 56 million annual average It’s that or nothing I think it’s all about guaranteed money and the structure and how the payouts happen that’s that’s what I’ve been led to believe for weeks and weeks and that’s what I continue to believe you know you know now the one point he does make really good Omar is when you talk about the signing bonus you know what’s he looking for what’s the range now you know they gave Tyreek Hill a $50 million signing bonus burrow got 40 million the problem is Jared gof got 73 and Jackson got 72 and A2 so again that that comes down to structure too as well right so man you know I really think it comes down to the structure of this deal and the guaranteed money that’s on the table he plays ball they’ve said they’ll take care of them he expects them to take care of them and they just haven’t yet Now Rich Eisen um he asked posed a pretty good question on his show I’ll play the segment and then we’ll talk about it that’s the question for the Miami Dolphins would you say this name me a team that needs to win and play a home game in order to advance to the Super Bowl more than the Miami Dolphins like narrative purpose needs need not narrative purpose like real no real life like their system of playing football works better in the temperature that they’re playing or they’re indoors could you say the Lions or the Lions damn near one in San Francisco thefc but but the stats are real for Jared gof home and away like that’s a real thing he plays infinite Better Could you say Dallas I don’t know that that that team is necessarily built to only succeed like last year they the difference between home and away away last year that home they were as dominant as any home team in recent memory until the Packers showed up well speaking of the Packers remember the end of the Rogers run they were not built ironically enough that I think that was more a narrative games at Lambo I don’t know see I I look at the dolphins being a team built upon predicated upon speed right so abolutely so that so is that what you’re saying like this is what I am saying you put them at home where those those athletes can just run we saw it they went to KC but they got to go to Buffalo if they got to go New England playoff team if they got to go to Denver or wherever it’s like they’re not built for that type of environment optimal weather you put them out there hey let me just say this let me just read this to you okay Tua at the quarterback spot running backs Raheem moard Devin Anan Jaylen right okay don’t forget Jeff Wilson Jr right is on this team too he’s fourth on the dep chart at the running back spot going into training camp Tyreek Hill Jaylen Wadd Braxton beros Malik Washington remember I told you about that kid before the draft in VG he was a a Northwestern transfer I believe Northwestern to Virginia and he said every record of Virginia yep uh and then oh yeah Odell’s there now jonu Smith who Patriots removed from your fantasy radar and put them on a milk carton for two years last year with Atlanta was awesome Alec inold who is a dynamite running back a fullback in the in a use check mold which is what his role is for this offense guys name me a better a faster offense I think there is a faster exactly Ty I don’t think there is a faster there isn’t a faster offense in the NFL with a guy in t that hits a back foot and gets rid of it well when you have a game to guarantee a home playoff game you better win it damn straight you’re not wrong but again it’s it’s chub and Phillips are these guys going to come back they got chop Robinson sha barretts on the team I mean they are they are loaded CL Campbell the do that’s right cell they got Kus Campbell year 31 for him it’s crazy and they’re third to go back to the card’s Point yes bills favorite to win the NF AFC East plus 165 Jets plus 185 Dolphins plus 210 why are they third Jaylen Ramsay is sitting back there now um Jordan puyer is on the team now okay because he was one of the cap casualty veteran Cuts in Buffalo um Javon Holland is still patrolling in in in the secondary which is he is you know what he’s great at he’s great at uh picking off Hail Mary at the end of a half and running it the whole way back he’s great at that I saw do that once you did yeah oh wow all right didn’t even get to Kendall Fuller that was a prime day they’re set man the Dolphins are flat out set and everyone’s talking about the AFC North for good reason and the AFC West because of who’s sitting at top and who’s joined it and the coaching staff and then the AFC South I think everybody considers one of those sneaky really good divisions Dolphins should be ranked first to win the division in the AFC I kind of think so they should be because the bills the bills are again we’re just talking about on paper off seon getting ready for the season they are potentially in a transition moment potentially the quarterback can basically say we’re transitioning 0.0 here I’m still Josh freaking Allen and we’ve got this thing and Jared Cook could be dominant and they could also get Keon Coleman and his Macy’s jacket coming for you right the summer so and and they can get back their defensive players Matt Milano sneaking around coming back right and the Jets get Aaron roders back is it just plug Aaron in play I don’t know and then obviously and I I don’t mean to just and then there’s the Patriots but I think that you it’s totally fair they’re 27 to1 to win the division it’s not happening so are the dolphins being slept on as real contenders in the AFC and as division favorites I mean listen I can understand the betting favorites still being the bills because they have our number but the Jets and the Patriots Tua hasn’t lost either one of those franchises since he’s been in the league the Jets proven nothing at all to be favored over the Dolphins to win the division and I will give Rich Eisen his props because we all know he’s a Jets fan but look at how objective he’s being he also I think he’s a tua fan too but you know listen you keep sleeping on this team and they’re going to wake you up real quick real fast I don’t get it I do I’ve said this all off season I do not understand the love the Jets are getting to a and without Tyreek we light that that defense off up what are we talking about you don’t know whether it’s the fourth of July or Tu a tongue of aloa and jayen Wadd lighting up the Jets defense again I could see why someone says Hey the bills are still my favorite to win the division because yeah I agree they’ve taken step backs on their roster I agree that this might be their weakest and most susceptible point for the Dolphins to take them down but the Dolphins still haven’t taken them down yet I so if someone says that you’re not going to hear peep from me but this whole Jets love and I do think people are sleeping on us you know all together in the AFC altogether they’re sleeping on us you know you could say whatever happened happened in that one of the coldest games in playoff history but guess what remind me could Josh Allen and the bills be Kansas City on the way to the Super Bowl last year did the MVP Lamar the most overrated MVP season of all time Lamar Jackson and the number one team in the AFC did who had HomeField Advantage did they beat the Kansas City Chiefs could the 49ers one of the most complete rosters in football with another top eight quarterback in pery did they beat the Kansas City Chiefs again I want you to really sit back and think about this let this settle into you right now there are only two quarterbacks who have beat Patrick Mahomes in the playoffs one of them is arguably the greatest of all time in Tom Brady and then the other one is Joe burrow who’s got a very similar skill set to tuang maloa was riding the wave in the tals of a great defensive run remember getting lit up cuz he couldn’t even make the proper hot reads and now it’s turned out to be Joe burrow even more injury-prone than Tu tangoa there’s only two guys who have taken him down for as amazing and in awe as Lamar Jackson leav some of you and Josh Allen leav some of you and Herbert leaves some of you how many of them have beat the Kansas City Chiefs in the playoffs donut so put that into perspective perspective when you think about what we’re asking not only Tua but our team to do cuz Tua has got to play well Tyreek got to play well but McDaniel and his staff have to out coach Andy Reid and Steve spagnolo and their staff you got to beat them on multiple levels just saying did ESPN snub Raheem moer and Devon h let’s talk about it um so every year with training camps on the horizon they put out their top 10 list at each position um Executives coaches and Scouts rank the NFL’s top 10 running backs they started with running back this year and they do this every year right and they say here right here here’s the schedule running backs today defensive tackles tomorrow Edge rushers on July 10th safeties July 11th tight ends on the 12th interior offensive lineman on the 13th tackles on the 14th quarterbacks on the 15th off ball linebackers on the 16th wide receivers on the 17th and cornerbacks over on the 18th over the next 10 days so number one chrisan mcaffrey you ain’t going to hear an argument from me Bree Hall at number two Nick chub at number three coming off another injury and everyone knows I’m a huge Nick chub fan right him and mcaffrey are my favorite running back saquon Barkley had four Jonathan Taylor at five bejon at six Josh Jacobs at seven jir Gibbs at 8 Derk Henry at nine Travis etti at 10 Aaron Jones Kenneth Walker Isaiah Pacheko James Cook Alvin Kamar Joe Mixon and DeAndre Swift all round out the top what is this the top 177 you mean de Swift finished higher on this list than Raheem oer never mind clearly you’re projecting with some young guys here like James Cook and stuff like that Devon aan doesn’t make the top of that doesn’t make that 17 list what are we talking about right now in what world someone explain this one to me now this is disrespect we were talking about disrespect earlier this is disrespect Rahe mozard had 18 rushing touchdowns last year he was fourth in running back success rate six in yards per carry six in yards after a contact seventh and missed tackles forced now and then he was 10th in rushing yards was Raheem oer last year now Devon a Chan when you look at him ninth in total touchdowns all right total touchdowns second in two yards for carry average 7.8 yards per carry but was 6.6 and two yards per carry number one in yards per touch 7.7 yards you talk about efficiency number four in yards created per touch Devon aan put up ridiculous ridiculous numbers we talking about a guy who had 800 yards and eight touchdowns on 103 carries he was averaging 72.7 yards per game where would that rank guess what that would be fourth in the NFL behind kyen Williams Christian mcaffrey and James Connor and just ahead of David Montgomery that would rank fourth I think the Miami Dolphins once people get a load of Jaylen Wright have one of the best running back rooms in the NFL and and the fact that neither rohee ozer or Devon Anan made that top 17 is absolute disrespect that’s disrespect I’ll go out on record and say that that’s disrespect obviously we’ll cover some of these lists as we move forward over the next 10 days again remember I’ll be live on Wednesday with ball game in Richmond for the Finish Line fin too deep on Thursday with Neil Friday I’ll be dropping my training camp preview I’ll be previewing the offense along with three Prospect profiles in that video of Patrick Paul Jaylen Wright and of course Malik Washington all right and then next week I will drop my training camp preview of the defense and special teams as well as Prospect profiles of Mo Kamara and chop Robinson all right so smash that like on a Monday smash that like button subscribe if you are new and as always I’ll see you on the next one Fins Up all day every day have a fantastic rest of your day everyone

  1. IF PUSH COME TO SHOVE TUA WILL CONTINUE TO FOCUS AND WORK ON HIS GAME.AND HE WILL CONTINUE TO EXCEL AND REACH NEW HEIGHTS TUA WILL ONCE AGAIN SILENCE ALL CRITICS BY DOING WHAT HE WAS BORN FOR .BY RAISING THE LOMBARDI TROPHY
AND HIS 55 MILLION TURNS TO 65 MILLION A YEAR

  2. I am ashamed to be fan of the Dolphins. The way they reward players who produce, we lowball them and make them go to other teams to get paid. We will never keep a good team.

  3. The 2020 defense carried this team with the most amount of turnovers in the league and won a lot of those games. How is it disrespectful that the dolphins don’t want to pay a QB yet who is not consistently good against playoffs teams and has a terrible record against them. Teams pay guys like Herbert and Lawrence because there ceiling is significantly higher then Tuas. I think Tua is a good Qb, but his physical limitations make for a very small chance he will become elite and it’s difficult to win a Super Bowl without one.

  4. I'm glad dolphins disrespect tua !!! Tua is a scrub with a weak arm, can't win big games, needs weapons everywhere just to put stats when in reality it's all hill , can't win a division. I'm glad hope he leaves next year

  5. Howdy Reason, the Fins 🐬 website crashed for a few hours,it's back up and running,Got my 🎟️🎟️ for August 3rd at hard Rock 🥌 big practice in the stadium

  6. Grier already has spoiled the advancement of Miami Dolphins in winning and revenue generation by stalling the quarterback extension. He is doing what the coach flores did to the same quarterback. It's np gpnna be the same again so fire this GM or gamble winning advancement. Pay Tua or else become loosers again.

  7. If the Dolphins"convince " Conner Williams with 3 years 22 million guaranteed at right guard, unprecedented 4000 yards rushing. Robert Hunt couldn't hold the nuts of Conner in the run game What 3 games and a bag of chips Robert," show me the money," Hunt?

  8. Thanks again Reason for making me a mod. I have been watching since 2020. I think this show is the best thing Miami Dolphins that You Tube can offer …PERIOD! You have grown a lot and have made great progress. You certainly deserve the success, you work very hard💪 and always do well by the community. Looking forward to an amazing season, PHINS UP! 🐬 🐬 🐬 🐬 🐬 🐬 🐬🐬

  9. I disagree with the premise that 15 wins will win the AFC..I think the winner of the AFC will have 12 or 13 wins…The AFC is so competitive… Love the show…

  10. Welp, IMHO we need to just chill TFO on Tua's contract guys! Let's check our rearview mirrors from yester-year regarding how long it took for Lamar Jackson to sign his record-breaking signing contract after training camp had started. Unless you have some exclusive inside track on how the negotiations are going, stop pretending that your hypothesis has any credibility. Just let it run its course, when the two sides come to an agreement we'll all be happy.

  11. Hell yeah. They have a Top Tier QB that Miami is betting that he will take them to the Super Bowl AND win it. And yet, Miami shows Tua no respect by dragging him along which is very upsetting to ALL the fans who will pay to see him play. They are treating Tua as a second class person when it is the Miami Dolphins who have no class and because of this, when Tua becomes a free agent he will remember how he was treated and probably decide to go where the team will treat him with respect

  12. I think the dolphins are hoping Tua won’t risk playing on the fifth year without a contact and he folds and takes less money 🤷‍♂️

  13. Reason my man…. Your channel and Dudley do wrong are the only ones I watch cuz you're too are absolutely the best… I love you both I watch both your channel so I can't put one on top of the other man cuz I watch both y'all love fans up❤❤🐬🐬🐬
