what’s up guys welcome back to the golf girl games today is going to be our first ever Juniors event it’s going to be a 2v2 V2 V2 where are we playing today guys we are at the West course at Fields Ranch at PJ Frisco so all of these Juniors they’re local Frisco girls we are super excited we’re we have a really fun prize on the line for today what is it so today we’re playing for one free Resort pass to go enjoy the pool soak up some rays it’s going to feel nice made the best Junior and ggg girl win hey guys I’m Alexis mastowski I’m abigil Le and we are the the 18 what’s our fun fact what do you like to do outside of golf nothing yeah same so hello I’m Kaylin and I’m Addison and we are team sunshiners I feel like we’re both very positive individuals favorite ice cream flavor I want to hear mint chocolate chip all the way that’s a good one mine’s moose TRS with some chocolate sauce got to have that on there I think we’re a dream team we’re just going to be positive out there and here 2 years ago and that’s when I really got into golf and now it’s like my favorite thing to do what grade are you in okay so I’m going into 10th grade so I’m going to my sophomore year of high school my gosh do you drive yet no I have my permit I got a little uh seven iron here just trying to get over that bunker and make sure I 15 might roll off the back but I think I no don’t say that you’re going to stick it come on you it wow you are so pure is that short short okay well gosh dang I don’t know if I this is my eight iron how far does your seven go it’s usually 150 but I’m still going to hit this club cuz I just feel like my S would go over I feel like it should be pretty good oh sit right there sit sit sit did it go off a little I don’t I think went just off 117 what do you usually hit like my n iron that’s that’s actually kind of mine too do we hit the same distances probably well actually you hit and I’ll see where it goes cuz it’s downwind I may switch to a pitching w oh my gosh are you serious right now perfect someone just there oh my gosh I feel like that’s literally like right by the pin so I feel like I don’t even need a hit this is just practice little right okay that’s kind back that’s like good I think that should be like that’s probably over good thing I didn’t hit a nine how long have you been golfing for I’ve been golfing since I was I believe n competively at I was like 11 I think how did you get started like does your mom golf no she doesn’t she doesn’t know anything about golf that’s honestly better sometimes you know cuz there are like those overarching parents that that’s my dad yeah really oh flush cut in there baby okay I did Club up though it’s 88 to cover the bunker and this is about 88 yards but I’m just going to try to flush Landing I could just like see the general directions you’re my you’re my Fairway finder tell me about playing golf in Korea I watch all those YouTube videos always like it’s like very Scenic I mean we played one near like the mountain side area just like nice Forest like there like lovely like scenery I’m just going to go like add the flag or like a little bit left of it love it so good I think find the energy at your at your junior tournaments like I feel like when I was in junior events things especially on the girl side I feel like you know it’s an Elite Sport so I feel like it’s like very intense is it still like that at your tournament I mean in the beginning it is it’s pretty tense so majority of the time we don’t like start talking but then eventually we warm up get to know each other and then I mean after that’s pretty chill relax I love that I love that right there okay good job we’re going to try to knock down a 58° a little bit it that look good good yes oh y we have 61 yards to the pin the pin is tucked way back left and we have to go over a ridge so you’re taking what 60 yeah 60 just going to do like a little comfortable kind of like half swing it’s right over like two my grandparents became like die hard Texas football fans so I went to every single home football game in Austin Texas until I was like 14 so I feel like I’m like lowkey a Texan I’m like kind of a Texan honestly right I think so yeah I feel comfortable keeping it low and I feel like cuz it’s so uphill at the front I should keep it like I love it love it absolutely love it I’m kind of doing Putt and then chip and then like slowly went back and then to like whole mhm so what age did you start playing in tournaments then five five yes see that’s young cuz I thought I was super young I was seven when I started playing in golf tournaments you such a good angle at the B I think you this one didn’t play that one yes I actually think so too you have a job yes okay where do you work I coach like little kids I oh really yeah so like the summer there’s like summer camps from 7:30 in the morning to 3:00 mhm and oh so you’ve been working a lot this summer so oh that’s great I love it it’s my that sounds so fun actually it’s a pretty flat Green from what I remember there’s not much of like a slope so we have 118 playing 124 cuz it’s uphill a slight down wind what are you hitting a nine iron full nine pretty prob just right of the pin yeah you can’t go very far left on that pin okay I like that sounded good get left just a little okay it’s it should be middle yeah know I think it’s good yeah this R might not look thick but it is so thick I’m then just going to take a full pitching wedge maybe a midr one I feel it could be pretty good interesting yeah it was an interesting thing you play with um guys or girls more girls really see when I grew up all I played with were just dudes just going to try to hit a full 54 here carry it a little over the pin hopefully it checks up on tough and I feel just from playing with you so far you seem like you have a really good mental game like you seem really confident it’s been getting better like especially after like that big we’re just going to rip hybrids hybrid from the Heather did you hit hybrid from the h i don’t have a hybrid okay par five here go guys just the absolute wrong line so just aim to that Fairway okay sit so I need every bit of it but it’s downhill downwind so I think it should be I think it’s the club that’s all right it’s okay March honestly it’s okay rolling up a little bit I chunked it really bad we need every bit of it that we needed every bit of it and it was terrible for all the old men in my comments saying you hit it 200 yard 343 yard 5’4 baby I don’t really know how I come inside I think that’s why 180 to the front right there’s an interesting bunker there and I’m not going to be able to stop the ball so I’m going to hit a five iron hopefully the right side of the green have it curve down there kind of like that that’s okay that’s fine I might play a 210 shot cuz I feel like everything’s going to run I’m going to take four hybrid you think I should go for it for sure oh oh man you struggled so well too take off the hill somehow okay no struck that real pure yeah okay so now I feel even more confident in this club with the number that I’m going to hit okay be so good hit it well yes come on be the number perfect sit right there middle of the green okay nice we needed that I feel like what did you say your favorite Club in the bag was driver driver which is really funny I love driv this is like the most fun so driver used to to be one of my worst things so I worked on it like crazy and I made it one of my strong Su same with bunker shots so putting is also one of my worst things so this summer I’m doing putting like every single day to make it one of my strong again good I feel like we should have just hidden iron like I don’t know why we didn’t range the bunkers yeah we don’t have no wimps in our golf carts nope that’s a tough bunker shot if they have over there where are they they’re in that bunker it’s like a 70 yard bu in the bunker that’s hard 70 yards 70 yards do you open just happened and I think that this is kind of similar to the shop Bryson had right so let’s see if we can be as good as him I’m going to hit a 56 okay that’s good hey that was pretty good nice that is so good nice good shot oh my gosh nice wow I think we actually did better than Bryson you love these shots you got this I love these shots they also scare me a little bit but you love them more than they scare you oh nice kind of an awkward shot here up until like an elevated green it’s really tight really tight for vaa I’m going to hit a little bump and run into the hill so perfect so perfect thank you nice I’m going to okay this looks all fast cuz I see all shiny grass I don’t see any dark I feel like it’s going to go this way yeah at the like once it gets toward the go oh come on that was the line that’s not that slow no it’s not that slow where did you have that just I like maybe a golf ball outside left the hole okay so that’s exactly what I’m going to almost outed that light spot on the left over there what the same thing you just did this is for a birdie this is an insane shot from the bunker this this is who’s going first do you feel it yeah okay go ahead make this come on go in go in go in go in go in oh you felt that yes good birdie really yes and we are at the top of the leaderboard going into the final hole she’s like We’re going to be too but you’re not in the hole yet Addie all right we need we need this it’s swooping right to left we picked a line together yeah a little bit like halfway through it’s going to go kind of push downhill into the left okay we’re going to take the same line but not hit it as hard holy moly that was fast all right right in the back of the cup easy easy birdie so now we’re tied at the top that was great good birdie [Music] good putt it’s always hard to judge the sand because it is a little bit more compact so you think it’s going to come out hotter yeah that’s what I was thinking CU I didn’t want to send it flying past the flag do you play in a lot of tournaments I’m play in a lot of tournaments like okay and it’s every week yes and I feel like too because most girls like let’s say for instance the last putt they would have felt a bunch of nerves if you just kind of when knock it in cuz I think when you play in tournaments all the time it helps you build the confidence this is kind of a hard course like when you come out here and play a team what do you usually shoot I shoot anywhere from like low 80s to like 7s so what’s your favorite part about I don’t know I just like hitting golf BS like it’s just so much fun hitting like long full slings like drivers and tree woods and stuff like that cuts like are also fun but they stress me out more because I feel like Precision matters like a lot on your putting and getting the speed right is something that I definitely need to work on okay guys it is a super super close match this is our last haul my team we’re two under we’re three doing solid three we’re three we’re two under okay so pretty much anything can happen we’re going to make an eagle okay let’s do it beautiful that’s pretty good shot I think I’m going to try to aim like in between C the two bunkers up there and try to have like a little baby cut all right roll yeah good job she ran did you hear us of course I did was going to run that would be that would have been I was going to say that would have been so good if you just ran and cut me off I was hoping you were going to do that all right no pressure it’s so rare when Alexis goes a little offline like everybody gets honestly didn’t know if I could get it over that bunker so I’m kind of glad that I did because it was see L I didn’t see any L look at my hands can you see that golf hands just girly things I hardest shots In Like A brys and D Shambo thing yeah but that bunker is just huge so intimidating it’s yeah for sure you think that’s good imagine you’re in that bunker and you know that you have to get up and down to win that so hard I think it’s hard because like you can’t see the hole what do you have in your hand I have a 55 oh sit good okay nice oh you got some I can’t see it is it close I to come out really low and hot bump into the hill and then carry it on up didn’t bump into the hill that’s right I personally love where my partner and I are sitting right now because we just have a nice little up and down uphill we got a back stop we’re just going to get up and down for birdie and that’s what we’re going to do right yep oh I love that oh love that M spinner I like the mid
