what’s up guys Rick here with your preview for this week’s Scottish open we are headed overseas yes for the next two weeks and we will take both of those events as we always do with data with logic with reason and see what we can figure out across the board now uh before I jump into that hat tip to Davis Thompson nice to see him finally get the job done it was trending in the right direction and even bigger hat tip to our guys over at Splash Sports because uh they’ve not only guaranteed the Rick run good listener league for the Scottish open and made it bigger so now it’s $6,000 of guaranteed funds but the Open Championship contest is already out it is $25,000 guaranteed and how about this if you pick the optimal lineup one golfer from each of six tiers and you get the best possible combination they give you an extra $100,000 yeah on a $20 entry obviously it’s pretty unlikely that you do that but uh you might as well give it a shot because you’re already playing in the contest anyway so uh both of those are live right now both are fully guaranteed links in the description for everything that you need and uh I just love love love this time of year let’s get into it all right let’s head over to rickun good.com that’s my website giant database and tools for fantasy and golf betting the Renaissance club and yes that’s how I’ll be pronouncing it this week because I like to sound a little bit bougie and uh pretentious and that’s the right way to say it and that’s exactly what I will do there’s a lot of interesting things here with this golf tournament so the Scottish open’s been around for 50 years right I think it dates back to 1972 or 1978 but it is really just in the PGA Tours perview for the last two years uh prior to that it was strictly a DP World Tour event now it is co-sanctioned because this is a co-sanctioned event there is also a co-sanctioned alternate field event the Isco Isco Championship which is in Kentucky this week that’s the event that used to be called the barbasol there’s also a live golf tournament this week there is also a Senior Tour event this week uh is there a corn fairy Tour event this week there is a corn fairy Tour event this week so there there’s a lot going on right now uh you can actually access all of those on the cheat sheet and the tools on rickun good.com but more on that in in just a second um so this event on the PGA tour has two years worth of data but the the Renaissance Club has five years worth of data across the PGA and the DP World Tour so you will see crossovers of guys who have played this event a lot more than others cuz they played it as a DP World Tour event then they played it as a PG GA Tour event so just to get right out of the gate here if you go to the holy grail and remove the number of years and just type in Renaissance uh you will get all of the history here so you’ll see guys like who’s a good example where’s Tommy Fleetwood uh Tommy Fleetwood is right here he has played this as two two years of PGA Tour events two years of DP World Tour events he’s gaining 2.14 Strokes per round in 16 rounds Rory mroy has played here has played 10 Rounds Matt Fitzpatrick 18 Thomas dietry 20 so you’re seeing a little bit of cross over here so don’t get lost and mixed up on tournament history or tour history versus course history obviously course history matters more but just wanted to get that out of the way uh before we got too deep into anything okay so it’s a par 70 it is a Tom do design and what I did hear was the correlation model is this is for both PGA Tour and DP World Tour results so it’s five years of History what stats are highest highest correlated to success at the Renaissance Club number one well it’s not number one but the most important is driving distance so uh 9th that means there are only eight other courses on the schedule in which driving distance is closer close more closely correlated to success than here at the Renaissance Club Driving accuracy not so much 35th out of 52 that’s below average you will see around the green pop up the next couple of weeks this week and next week around the green play is going to be more important you know you’re talking about a different style of golf a little bit more lynxy obviously so you get the ability to to be creative around the greens there’s usually a lot more options when you get greenside in in Scotland and Europe in in general so this is not really just Target American Golf where you fly it in the air all the time so you do see guys who have solid short games tend to find their way up the leaderboard a little bit more because of those options more options allows you to separate yourself in a lot of different uh in a lot of different situations so we’re looking for long drivers who can uh be Stout around the greens if you look at some of the secondary stats are some longer approach buckets in here approaches from you know 200 yards or more 275 or more 200 to 225 that the types of shots that we saw Rory maroy hit quite quite beautifully last year especially on the on the 72nd hole what he hit five wood from 20 some odd yards to five feet to to take away Robert McIntyre’s chances of winning his his National open so there’s those stats that pop up and then you kind of get into some some wonky things as well well 5 years is a lot of data but it’s not as much as we get for uh most courses on the PGA tour where you can go 10 or 12 and have it be really solid so we’re going to look for the best players in the world because it is a a split field now we’re going to use weighted Strokes gain we’re going to use driving distance we’re going to use around the green play if you use all of that and look at something much more re you know recent so you take all those stats above you you throw it over over the last 24 rounds for everybody in this field you are going to see some interesting names for adjusted course fit now remember rickun good.com I do have the DP World Tour Strokes gain metrics right so you’ll see those as we go through it’s critically important for weeks like this I’ve got the live Strokes gain metrics obviously I have the PJ tour stuff as well so this is very very comprehensive Sebastian Soderberg who’s only $6,400 gets the best adjusted fit uh Tom McKibbon we will talk about him he is only $7,000 then you get Rory Mary at 119 Vis Berger Sun JM K Nakajima Colin moral so there’s there’s going to be a lot of names that you’ve probably not heard of or that you don’t follow uh on a regular basis but I’m going to do my best to to take you through the ones that I think are the most interesting for this week here is the cheat sheet on rickun good.com and we’ve got the big boys here no Scotty sheffler but most everybody else Rory maoy 11,900 Xander shley is 117 lud Vig is 105 and then col morawa is 10,3 $300 how do we split hairs between these golfers Rory won this event last year Xander won it two years ago this is the first time that we’re going to see Rory M since his US Open disappointment I I have no problems with any of these four they’re the they’re four of probably the five best players in the world I I don’t have much of an opinion when we get to the Wednesday live chat we will be able to see the the projected ownership we’ll have a better idea of what the industry is doing but let me just give you a couple of nuggets here uh I am not remote worried about Rory mroy and um what happened at the US Open right I I don’t care it’s been weeks he is still one of the best players in the world if you would have told me that he finished second at Pinehurst uh that would have been a great result you still look at his results the the back-to-back wins at the Zer classic in the Wells Fargo he hasn’t finished outside the top 15 in any of his last six starts this is a a good course form him and it’s it’s kind of weird it’s like a good P it’s got a good PGA tour field but then some of it is fied with filled with guys that would he would beat up on the European tour so it’s kind of a weird uh field composite and and I just think that he is going to be ready to go I I just have no reason to be worried whatsoever about Rory M now Xander Schley we can pull up his numbers here um won this event as I believe it was the second leg of his back-to-back wins what was that last year right he went Travelers and then he went um the the Scott no two years ago jeez I’m already all screwed up here so Trav Championship started to get back on track a little bit we saw him lose Strokes on Approach at the memorial quickly bounces back and play as well at the US Open continues that good Play Into The Travelers Championship if you want to take a little bit of a discount and go to Xander here that’s fine if you look at the power rankings so this is just strictly the last 24 excuse me last 36 rounds for everybody in the world he is Xander that is uh the number one player 2.4 Strokes gain per round over that time period Sebastian Soderberg and Tom McKibbon were’re saying going to say their names a lot because they grade out really well based on their European tour stuff are both over two strokes per round and then Rory mroy is in there as well um 2.16 so there there’s a reason that these guys or excuse me at least Xander and Rory are priced the way that they are if you want to um split hairs if you want to go with the one that you like that that that’s fine the guy in the 10K range that I’m that I’ll be betting uh and you know obviously there’s different strategies for for for betting purposes and for Fantasy purposes is uh but the guy that I’ll be betting is Colin morawa and I’m going to write about him I’ve already started writing about him in my newsletter for this week which is 100% free there’s a link in the description it’s rickrungood docomo since the start of January 1 he is a top seven player in the world since the Masters he’s a top four player in the world and the way that he’s doing it is all vintage morawa it’s elite ball striking where he has not gained less than four strokes ball striking over his last five starts his around the green play is Splendid you’re probably going to need that here the putter the putter has been awesome since the Masters he has lost Strokes putting one time it was at the PGA Championship and it was3 Strokes over four rounds so we’ll give him a zero there that week other than that he’s a Gainer um we’ve seen him have success overseas not that that’s really like a huge thing but listen Good Good Vibes all around for Colin um if you want to go deeper and go to The Strokes gain distribution he gains five or more Strokes to the field uh at a fairly ridiculous clip I think I did oh here it is last 36 rounds he’s gaining at 16.6% of the time he’s gaining five or more Strokes to the field if you open this up and do last 100 rounds I think it gets to like 10% or so 11 % which is an elite rate if you take this and and look at it for all the best players in the world since January first it is basically all the guys who have won all the golf tournaments and then colum morawa so it’s like Scotty who’s got six wins Rory who’s technically has two uh Xander who has one and then Colin the the win is coming right there is just all the statistical information said says the win is coming because he’s playing like a winner and it just hasn’t happened for him yet so I’ll be betting Colin at at at um at his outright price he did play this event in 2022 he missed the cut the $99,000 range is really f is really fun here um Tommy fleetwood’s at $9,900 and Tommy Fleetwood is having a very good year is it a great year I don’t know I I mean I think it’s pretty great he doesn’t have a ton of top 10 finishes he had back toback top T at at the Valero which was t7 and the Masters which was T3 and he had a T10 at Riviera but he has not finished outside the top 25 basically ever his worst finish recently since since the PLAYERS Championship is is a t49 at the RBC Heritage his ability to consistently gain from te to green and find a decent putter is always exciting his history at this event um at on the PGA tour is T6 and T4 but I already showed you that when we add in two more European tour starts he becomes the um the biggest Strokes Gainer is that a word Strokes Gainer for everybody in this field who’s played as many rounds as as he has so I don’t know what people are going to do with Tommy here because it’s been a lot of good a lot of good a lot of good not a lot great and then you have what are probably some very valuable golfers below Tommy um Hideki at $9,400 feels like a pretty good deal I’ll I’ll admit here so you’ve got a guy who drives it well who’s one of the best approach players in the world who has one of the best around the green games in the world who has gained Strokes with the putter in five straight he’s already won this year he’s high up on the ceiling chart he’s coming off a t23 at The Travelers in a sixth place finish at the US Open and eighth place finish at the memorial like what like yeah it’s it’s decky baby now he had a withdrawal in there somewhere where did he WD it would have been between the PJ and the memorial is that right and got everybody all hot and bothered um but yeah this is this is just such a good stat profile for a golfer who’s 9400 and and golfers above who have who have some of those question marks um those question marks are Victor havin and Tom Kim so we’ve been pretty good with Victor this year I think we have gotten him uh correct more frequently than we have gotten him incorrect now this is a really tough spot to be in um the the around the green play is is is back to 2022 areas but uh he’s been working with Joe Mayo again I know Joe Mayo’s in North baric I know that they that they’re that they’re there getting things together so I’m I’m optimistic that we are going to get a better around the green week than him losing two and a half Strokes around the green however the problem is you kind of have to be pretty darn good around the greens here right I don’t know if zero if being a zero is is good enough so that’s my concern with Victor I I am almost in a holding pattern you know I love what I saw at the PGA Championship and the memorial and even the US Open when he missed the cut and The Travelers championship in the ball striking category just it’s just a ton of green on the left side of the screen and I I just want to see like one more good around the green week that’s all I want to see and the problem is it might be like you’re either you’re either going to be early or you’re going to be late on Victor if you’re going to be early if you want to be early you get in on him now if you’re okay being late it’s fine but he’s he’s not going to be $9,700 when he has that plus two around the green week he’s now going to be 10,500 so you have to decide what you want I’m probably going to be a touch late Tom Kim’s the other golfer in here Tom Kim has been a weaker um col warawa this year I don’t know if that’s fair to say but I I just I love that the ball striking his back I love that his putter has been generally a positive if you missed the cut at the rocket mortgage which what what was it8 n weeks in a row after a uh very emotional Travelers Championship playoff loss to Scotty sheffler if there is ever a mised cut we can forgive it’s that one if you go to the holy grail and look at golfers um oh also he’s played he’s played well here by the way but look at golfers uh in 2024 let’s do let’s see what we have here so Tom Kim did I skip him or did I think he’d be higher on my list where is Old Tom Kim old Tom Morris old Tom Kim where are you Tom there you are 9500 point4 Strokes gained per round but wow 70 rounds but basically since yeah so he’s got these events here at the beginning of the year that really crush him so since the Masters which is the same time frame that I allowed us to use for col Mo cow and I’m and I’m making that comparison right or wrong I’m making that comparison if we do it for Tom Kim where does he jump to so he was 04 previously here he is yeah twice as good 0. n right so nearly a stroke per round okay so that’s a golf for the that I see on that upward trajectory and if you look at his history here it’s a third and a sixth so um this 9k range is is so interesting because even at the bottom Fitz Matt Fitzpatrick is $99,000 I like Matt Fitzpatrick more than I probably should most weeks he hasn’t really returned me much uh for that loyalty in 2024 he’s got a miscut in T6 here and then minwu who goes off and finishes well at the rocket mortgage let’s see what Mino what his stat profile was because he’s been look at this 22nd 24th 26th 24th 21st runnerup finish great putting the last five weeks approach plays getting better that’s the question right can he hit it better if you want distance he’s got distance so this is a very strong range here which is another reason why I probably need to see one more one start for Victor before investing in a in a fantasy format Hideki being probably too cheap what is that going to do to Tommy Fleetwood is Tom Kim the fourth or fifth option for most people should minmo be higher because of his skill set at this golf course these are all great questions that you have to ask yourself and it makes this 9k range really really fun oh boy this 8K range my goodness lots of interesting things here as well so Justin Thomas is 88800 00 which is historically very cheap for Justin Thomas especially after coming off of a week at The Travelers Championship where he finished T5 and gain five Strokes ball striking and actually gain Strokes with the putter so here I am again stepping on the rake allowing it to smack me in the face and investing in in Justin Thomas I have a problem and we’ll see how it goes this time around Aaron Ry is here Aron R has disappointed you on each of the last two Sundays however he has been one of the best players in the world the last couple of months look at his Strokes gain numbers dating back to Byron Nelson he has not he has not lost Strokes to the field he has not finished worse than t39 that was at the PGA Championship his last four are four straight top 20s three of them are top 15s two of them are top sevens and the last two he was in the final group at both of those if you’re not if you’re still not sold guess where Aaron rise loan I guess it’s not his lone Victory one of his two DP World Tour victories came that’s right 2022 Scottish open the Renaissance Club in which uh that was before this turned into the co-sanctioned event so if you liked Aaron RI the US Open if you liked him at the rocket mortgage if you liked him at the John Deere classic you cannot conceivably dislike him this time around uh I know that he is has lost basically the only times he has lost Strokes in the last couple of weeks is on Sundays that’s not exclusively true so he has lost Strokes in the last four starts he’s lost Strokes five times in a round four of them were Sundays not great but I’m not worried about it we got you got to give him one more you got to give him one more go round if you’ve been riding this you continue one more time he’s gained here here’s here’s seriously what’s going on here historically horrible putter Aaron Ry has gained um 15 Strokes putting in his last three starts including I believe he was number one in the field last week at the John Deer gained nine Strokes putting it’s it’s the cheat code that we have seen unlock a lot of different guys and now he’s in the midst of that going to probably the best spot or one of the best spots for him sah thala’s back and I generally just qu I just question what do we do with him I I don’t know what the answer that to that to that is for me love the talent um he missed the cut excuse me he finished t48 The Travelers championship and that’s the last time we saw him so it’s it’s been a handful of weeks it was pretty ugly in Cromwell but other than that I I I love the talent I love the upside I don’t know what I will do with him I will probably wait and see what the rest of the industry is up to and then boy um that’s probably enough right I’ll be investing in Justin Thomas I’ll be investing in in in Aaron Ry probably a little dabble on sunjay probably a little Dabble on sahith just gonna need to see a lot more on Jordan spe I’m curious about Windam Clark but we’ll we’ll wait and see there you you can’t have all of these guys I think they’re all okay I’ll probably try to match the field on most of them except for I’ll be underweight on Jordan spe certainly be overweight on Justin Thomas and and Aaron Ry and then kind of match the field on on the rest of these guys the 7K range we get Davis Thompson start in us off and uh we all thank Davis Thompson for making us look very smart he goes t27 T9 T2 and then he snaps off and gets the victory we tip our cap and we will see you down the road Davis I don’t think there is any reason to try to back up a guy after his first career Victory after this stretch of golf now getting on a plane going to Scotland I I just just like we can take a breath there is no reason to force Davis Thompson into our lineups I have no idea what he’s going to do but I will catch up with him very very shortly cuz I’m excited to get to get back there Robert McIntyre despite not getting it done last year and that was more Rory winning it than than Robert McIntyre losing in fact Robert played great down the stretch um now he’s playing with a lot more confidence right he wins the Canadian open plays well at The Travelers didn’t play W the rocket mortgage but that was more of a mostly a putting issue if anything he’s very good in Scotland right so I went and I looked this up he’s played like 31 rounds in Scotland he’s got one of the best Strokes gain numbers of of of anybody in this field with his many rounds it makes sense that’s that’s his home but sometimes there are a lot of pressures and just other things that come with that but he has been very very good in Scotland in his career and now I think he’s probably playing some of the best golf that we’ve seen remember I mean we there are guys we haven’t seen in a while so I’m refreshing your memory about chrisan Christian bazen hot who you know has played a ton of European Tour golf he’s coming off a t23 at Travelers Championship he’s got this new found uh approach play which is which is giving him way more opportunities to use the best part of his game which is the putter he is very very good around the greens which we know is a skill set that’s going to be important this week this is it’s it’s hard to remember right I The Travelers feels like a year ago to me but he is right right back at it and somebody that I’m happy to go back to all right let me get you Tom McKibbon here so this is where I think the value of rickun good.com really shines through so having all the tours and The Strokes gain numbers you know if you’re only looking at PGA Tour stuff you do not have a start for Tom McKibbon from the Scottish open last year and he’s played like 25 times since then um or I guess maybe you have the US Open as well but you know what I mean like this is a it’s a global game now you you have to have this so look at the run that McKibbon has been on um dating back to I mean even the calendar year right that’s what I was doing in some of these holy grail some of the power rankings since the start of the year he has been a top 25 machine he has been a top 15 machine he has been a top 10 machine highlights with a fourth place finish in Qatar a ninth at the Johnson workware that’s in South Africa I believe uh t7 at the isps Handa T8 at the European open it’s a very good field and then the last two starts for him six at the km and a runner-up finish at the Italian Open and if you look at his metrics very good ball Striker I mean he gained 12 Strokes ball striking at the Italian Open he gained another 11 at the KLM the putter cooled off in both of those but he’s a he’s a average to slightly above average putter in general he is on the verge of getting a win somewhere in the world the last time he won was the Porsche European open that was in June of 2023 he’s been on the verge I think he lost in uh I think he lost in a playoff at the Italian Open don’t quote me on that but I believe he lost in a playoff at the Italian Open he’s been very very close I I think this is a very good spot to run him out at at $7,000 um and there’s going to be a lot more guys that as we go down this list it’s it’s it’s going to be that they play primarily on the European tour and we’ve got to sift through that the $66,000 range will zures is here at $6,900 and I think we’re we’re going to have to just wait right not good results he with Drew from the rocket mortgage classic with hip slashback slash over abundance of caution whatever it is just not not great is Matthew Pavone back are we are we declaring Matthew Pavone back guy started 2024 like he was shot out of a cannon he was like top five player in the world for the first two months then just completely slumps goes into the doldrums all around the world guy plays all the time which I love just nothing absolutely nothing and then out of nowhere Like a Phoenix Rising From the Ashes finishes fifth at the US Open gains throughout the bag unbelievable performance and then backs it up with a t16 at The Travelers and the only place he lost was around the greens which is kind of my concern here we know you got to be pretty stout around the greens that is the weakest part of his game but a a a true Global golfer who has had success all over the place in 2024 who’s putting together these stat profiles at $6,900 is interesting let me hit you with a couple of of DP World Tour guys Yan Ferguson just won last week at the BMW International open that was his third straight top 30 finish he gains off the te routinely he put on a a striking ball striking display at the BMW open and he’s a very good short game player a lot of a lot more a little bit more volatile results but a lot of top 25s on on this on this sheet Jordan Smith you might see him as Jordan L Smith not to be confused with Jordan a SP uh is $6,600 he finished second at the BMW International open you see this guy’s name everywhere on the European tour right he is just constantly either in the mix um he’s like you can see how often he gains 10 12 15 Strokes ball striking very very good there he’s got a putting problem don’t we all he picked up 5.8 Strokes putting at the BMW International which is what spurred him on to that T2 so he’s kind of like a European uh Team NOP putt guy Ben Griffin if we’re going with short game Ben Griffin is one of the best short game players that we have in the world um he is not long he’s not super accurate off the te he does do okay on some of those longer uh proximities but it is really about the short game for him so if you’re going to be able to separate at the Renaissance Club on and around the putting surfaces that goes well for Ben Griffin let me show you why Sebastian so odberg keeps popping up here on the um on the model first off one of these events I think it was the Scandinavian mixed it was [Music] he gave us one of the greatest choke jobs you’ve ever seen on the DP World Tour um lost two and a half Strokes on Sunday I missed like a two-footer to push it into a playoff it just it was really bad um but he finished T2 there which was a a stretch of now four podiums in his last six starts he did just withdraw from the KLM open after after one round but that was two weeks ago two plus weeks ago so I’m I’m hoping thinking I haven’t seen any news or anything that he’s that he’s probably good but the reason that he that he’s popping up in all these models is because you know look at that I mean since the start of January look at all these top 10 then those four podiums in a row or not in a row but in close proximity played the PGH Championship he made the cut there that’s why he’s popping up um we are so so I I just you know I don’t like to do it often but I will Pat myself on the back here because what I said about Andrew Novak was take the ball striking from the Canadian open take the putting from the rocket mortgage and if we can get those together Andrew Novak is gonna have a really good time guess what we we got them together at the John Deere um literally almost identical stuff right six Strokes ball striking seven strokes with the putter I love his game I do I admittedly do not know how it is going to translate to Scotland but I I I love his game I love where it’s at and he is priced to move he played this cut played this event two years ago he missed the cut Lori caner has had an eventful year he just missed the cut at the Italian Open but he won two starts prior to that at the at the European open very very good on the leth hand side of the screen he too has some putting issues he’s teed up on Liv a couple of times this year as well he’s got two top 25s there so he’s just kind of been playing not a lot actually right I mean I don’t know what his status situation is because he’s bouncing between the DP World Tour and live and he’s only played one two three four five six seven eight times uh maybe nine times in in 2024 but he has a win so I I don’t know what his current status is probably pretty good but up until that Victory I don’t know what it was but when he does play he plays well we saw that with somebody else recently too Victor Perez no oh this guy’s the guy I’m thinking of is Kelly craft Lori caner is better than Kelly craft by about a mile but we were kind of seeing that doesn’t play a lot but when he does play he plays well uh Guido and then you get like there’s a ton of guys that are playing really good golf that are super cheap Guido migotti just won the km open and then finished 22nd at the Italian Open had some good finishes before that R rikuya hosino has gone T10 t29 T6 in his last three starts I mean these guys like I I get it it’s not the US Open it’s not whatever but these are legit events on the DP World Tour Italian Open km International International open you’re seeing how much of this field crosses over and plays these events so it’s not like one guy is coming over from from the tour from the DP World Tour trying to beat out these other guys it’s like a lot of them are and they play against each other all the time and these guys are beating each the same guys every single week so it’s it’s definitely worth noting the 5K range I’ll just point out a couple and then we’ll probably just let the model do its thing Max graser’s here three straight top 30s no problem with that Roma langas remember him remember langas love this guy I’m if I remember correctly he’s just a bomber and he can get he’s kind of like Ryan Fox maybe not as good as Ryan Fox but bombs it I believe and putts well and you can see it in the metrics you can see it in the results he’s got he’s coming off a T9 at the BMW International open he had a T2 at uh at the soall open that was at the end of May uh he plays a lot he’s he’s a little bit he’s he’s pretty volatile but for $5,800 that’s not the worst thing in the world uh couple other interesting things so juice Luton now he’s getting ready for the Olympics baby $5,700 um he’s going to be headed there for the Dutch I suppose Sammy valaki swinging Sammy valaki where are you Sammy just finished T12 at the John Deere and if he didn’t play so poorly on Friday he wouldn’t have been in the mix but this would have been a top 10 right so T12 to John Deere now he’s $ 5700 I also saw down here Julian guier I believe he’s from France uh so it’s probably like not much might be Julian look at this run he’s on 4th 20th 22nd 13th look at the ball striking look at the putting look at the short he’s basically gaining throughout the bag he is $5,600 like that there might have been one more down here there might have been oh yeah this one’s really sick actually so we are going to look at and let me just make sure he’s the only only other one that I had kind of dialed up here P Harrington’s in this field he’s been beaten up on the on the senior boys for the last couple of months I think this is the last guy that I was we’ll see what the model pops up wow there’s so many guys in this field okay it is Jung Juan Lee so I have three starts on him this year which he’s probably played more than this but it’s it’s weird because sometimes the names it’s okay long story short he just finished eighth last week in Morocco that was last week runner-up finished at another Asian Event in May and T10 at the Korea Championship those are the only three results I have on them and that well sorry that Crea Championship was last year those are the only three results I have on them let’s look at padrick how do you equate the senior tour stuff to to this field cuz he’s been awesome at the senior tour every time he’s played a PGA event or a major he’s missed the cut recently so I’m probably not super excited about this but uh you know he’ll grind for you let’s see what the model has to say custom model rickun good.com all right we’ve got to get so first off we we must do the weighted Strokes gain Baseline there’s just no other way around it there are too many guys from too many different fields here to not do this and we’re going to do weighted Strokes gain total for 20 I just think that’s the smartest Baseline to do then we are going to do driving distance for 15 and we will do we’ll do some of those longer approach buckets right we’ll do 175 to 200 let’s do five on there and five on 200 to 225 and then we’ll do strokes gained approach in general for 10 so we kind of build it up there we are going to go around the green so let’s say Strokes gain around green last 24 for 20 we know you got to be pretty good there and then we will do uh Strokes gain putting last 24 for 15 and then we’re going to put our last 10 on course history I think I should have it I do yeah okay so my number one golfer is Rory ma no surprise so my my top three no surprise Rory Xander Colin fine with all of that look who’s fourth chrisan Baden hoo Hideki is fifth Fleetwood is sixth Robert McIntyre Cory Connor Aaron Ry and Sun JM wow where’s ludvic 18th okay cool where’s like uh McKibbon and those guys while Novak is 28th at $6,200 that’s unbelievable sorry valam maki’s 51st at 5700 that’s not actually not that bad Soderberg 66th okay sorry I could get lost in this thing I’ll save it we will deal with it on Wednesday so remember they’re in Scotland so the time is different so this will start earlier than you think I think it’ll start Wednesday night I don’t know what the exact time if it is but overnight Wednesday into Thursday um go sign up for Splash go sign up for rickun good.com if there’s ever a time to use rickun good.com and I hardly give the hard pitch like these are the weeks these are absolutely the weeks so um I’ll see you there I’ll see you on the internet I’ll see you everywhere thanks I’ll talk to you soon

McNealy and Straka killed me last week surprisingly 🤦♂️ but this week is another chance 😂

2 iron
Great advice back to back weeks man thanks!
Davis!!! So happy for him, and shoutout to you for keeping an eye on him and his upwards trend
Any concern about the travel for Rai?
1 of your first 500 subscribers here: just wanted to pass a note and say hope all is well brother and keep it going. Appreciate all the hard work you put in for us on a weekly basis. Cheers, brother!
Man, I made the biggest mistake ever. Swapped in Shipley and Poston took out Cole and Clanton. Still scored 620. Smdh
Rick runs good….period…end of sentence
Perfect timing!
my lineup last week had 5 golfers with over 100 DKFP and the other 89.5 and it won $10 in the $250k drive the green… this is getting ridiculous
i think Xander wins this week, Also like Robert Macintrye, Victor Perez,Matt Wallace,Brian Harman,Max Homa, Byeong Hun An, Seamus Power, Rasmus Hojgaard, Jordan Smith,Ryan fox(maybe) , Ewen Ferguson(Maybe)
You're work won me 2k on davis last week! Thank you!
Back the griffindor. This week is his. They have just cut the tough right back and the locals are looking forward to playing it after the Pro lads head west to Troon. Most visitors like to blast away but griffin like Fleetwood and a few others like this stage. We all want bob Mac to win but top ,20 parlay is the game. Big weather moving in too so watch the draw
Another great bet is MC parlay. We see them out partying as fo mrany this is the week off before the open
There are so many viable options at the bottom of the salary range, like Marcel Siem is killing it, Sean Crocker is in a fantastic place, Victor Perez is always a consideration in Scotland (his adoptive home)… I have zero confidence in Sebastian Soderberg after his Scandanavian Mixed utter failure. Others I fancy this week that I think are underpriced include McKibbin, Jesper Svensson, Laurie Canter.
Hi Rick thoughts on 1st round leaders?
Fleetwoods first win this week since he started
Bro is it weird that i like dead money Kiradech lol
Great stuff Rick (as usual) Weather clearly played a factor with the events from DP World Tour and the last 2 pga. So Rory won with 40mph gusts on Sunday and When Rai beat Xander it was windy.. on the opposite side Min Woo won when it played much easier i believe -21 … gonna be interesting…
Is the Travelers a decent Comp Course? Or are there much better to correlate with? Thanks
