Jordan um you were five back 2013 five back 2015 um a little farther back now how do you feel about putting a charge in the weekend uh I feel I feel good today was better than yesterday try to be better tomorrow than I was today um it was a lot harder conditions today uh that we had to play in so um it was more than just a couple shots better and um I hit some I burned a lot of edges I’ve left a lot of putts short I missed a couple inside of 5T this week so um I just got to you know in order to make a charge you got to make a lot of putts and I don’t have to do really anything differently um other than probably just be a little more aggressive is it the grin speeds or they yeah I mean I feel like um yeah I didn’t hit a good birdie putt on 18 there um I kind of didn’t love the line I was choosing um and so wasn’t very committed but the rest of them have been really good strokes and I yeah they’ve just I think they’re a little slower today just being in the afternoon and then also they they knew it was going to be very windy so you can’t have them too fast so um that won’t be the case tomorrow I’m sure early I I probably don’t have to make much of an adjustment Jordan I know you don’t come to tournaments to make Cuts anymore they’re bigger thing bigger goals out there for you what’s the mentality you do take into tomorrow now that you’re back in the pack and chasing uh yeah I mean it’s there’s there’s uh only only stuff to gain at this point tomorrow so I’ll be attacking um you know today I I got to a place where I felt like I could start attacking by getting some birdies early and then I just messed up 11 and 12 and all of a sudden I was behind the cut line and uh so you do think about it I mean it’s something you have to prepare for um and I made a really nice I mean I left it short on 16 for made a really nice putt on 14 um just you know left it short on 16 and then came back and hit two really nice shots and um two nice putts to get a birdie on 17 and have a little leeway so um yeah I mean it’s this t- shot on 18 becomes important I don’t know if it’s going to be five or six and so you kind of start to feel a little bit like you’re in contention but um unfortunately I’ve been in that position far too often this year and it’s very frustrating and annoying and um once you make it to Saturday it’s a freeing feeling but you know just being this far behind on a course where you know it’s not coming back to you is a is a tough place to be but um you know I’ll try and shoot 14 under on the weekend and and uh and post a good finish I don’t think it’ll be good enough but I’m not going to try and shoot 20 under cuz you get in some trouble but just you know take chances when they when they come and be aggressive on the greens but you feel like you can still make that move tomorrow yeah I I mean I’ve done it before um the course is it’s one of the you know probably bottom half easier golf courses it’s a great golf course but when it’s soft it’s one of the easier ones that we play and um that’s a yeah I can make a move but everyone’s going to make a move you know so I’ll try and you know I’ll try and beat the field average by four or five shots but that’s going to take shooting eight or nine under so um you know it’s not like it’s a walk in the park you still have to hit nice shots it’s there’s some great golf that’s been played this week and um I think there was the scores this afternoon are a little bit um higher than they were this morning and um so you know got a you know maybe a little bit against us on that but um you know I had my chances we had yesterday morning with no wi and a chance ball in hand to really take advantage and uh it’s just one of those random tournaments where if you take 10 holes off you need something really special to make it up and and you got to do it quickly and you know I had I had 18 holes of couple under yesterday and um you know unless you’re absolutely perfect from there there’s not much of a chance of winning but that doesn’t that doesn’t mean you don’t go out and try and shoot 10 under the next day

God is running the show although most people discount this or are unaware of it, that God has the greater good at heart. In other words for the benefit of all in the professional golf world it might be more appropriate for there to be a season when there isn’t a long term stand out winner. When this happens lesser players get a wee sniff of success that otherwise they wouldn’t have gotten. Invariably great champions have great character. This helps society aspire to the right values in life. But character that isn’t based upon the acknowledgment of the existence of God will be lacking in quality and therefore will not be used by God to enhance His purposes in life. It’s interesting that Ben Hogan not only believed in God but was not ashamed to mention it. Jack won a lot of majors and yes he had the game for it but so too did a lot of other guys. He became a great champion because God allowed it and didn’t disallow it. Don’t fight God. Get on board with Him. And who knows where you might end up.
