the next 30 days I’m going to embark on one of the hardest professions in the world professional golf that’s right this guy is back on tour so the next 30 days we’re going to eat sleep golf we’re back playing there’s only one issue but there’s a problem you’re not any good so why are we doing this well we did get an invite to a really cool tournament in New Zealand Queenstown that I just could not say no to that I haven’t played at all tournament in 6 years So the plan is we’re going to get to work we’re just going to play Nothing technical we’re going to get some reps in on the short game play with some buddies get match fit and uh do what we can have fun on the way and uh I’m really looking forward to it I haven’t played in a very long time and the first tournament is next week so we better get back to work the grind Starts Now [Music] we have work to do and it is Tuesday Morning we’ve just come in to to pump out a few lessons and then we’re going to uh East lak’s Golf course we haven’t played there before catching up with a couple of buddies and uh 2 days before our first tournament this is the only practice we’re doing just going to play try and get some feel not overthink it should be a good day beautiful day here in Sydney and um yeah looking forward to it East L Golf Course nice D oh got up there oh that’s so sick that is beef for hole in one it’s in HS just hit a no really good a good one we did just pile the last holder uh three PS to start flopped a chip knifed a chip then chipped in that was really good actually was it actually yours was oh no mine mine was [ __ ] yours the last one was really good I parted as well so we’re just making cars out here that’s what we do I usually just like to look at the little number the golf coures provided and just that’s what I try and get in but it’s not really going to plan on this hole go go oh no come around got to open the shoulders what’s that open the shoulders what does that mean I just like muscle up you just tell me what it means and I’ll do iters his shoulders that’s what it was missing you tell me open the shoulders about to see some magic open his shoulders up hey check it out sorry notat it’s just B played that’s another hole in one let’s go so yesterday was fun we ended up shooting three on thepath you heard that three under par three under par three under par at East Lakes Golf Club 12 hours before we tea off tomorrow first game back in uh 6 years we’ve been teaching since 6:30 this morning just getting some last minute practice in and we’re really just focusing on Rhythm just trying to find something uh moving from right to left we’re hitting some shots it’s bloody hot can’t expect much get what I deserve so I haven’t been practicing but we’ll see how we go see uh maybe LS me into a false s of security could shoot 80 could shoot 65 who knows hello what is your name Savia ask that a question I don’t want to I don’t know how to answer that ask that a question no all right guys the night before our first event um woke up this morning and just feel like [ __ ] and also the back’s playing up a little bit are these excuses maybe is it stress cuz we’re a little nervous probably a little bit but um a place smart that is the we know we’re not going to be super super sharp yeah don’t know the nerves will be there tomorrow definitely feeling it right now but um I’m also looking forward to kind of getting out there and playing some golf it’s been a while get this show on the road try and win a check wish me Lu hey guys I’m a pro golfer again we just hit our first shot camera’s straight out we got the Marquee group first off of first so I’m guessing these YouTube videos are helping me get some starts which is cool um it’s good to be back out here it’s happening pretty fast part five sure part five to start absolutely hammered one in the [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] rock [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] we are live we’re on the 18th hole of the aswi Prime um it has been a very beef round but it took a couple under had a short part to go 3 under through 9 hit a good drive down 10 right where we wanted and we couldn’t find our B there’s a hazard there that I didn’t know was there there so that was frustrating but I had to go back to the tea um took double there boogy the next went on a birdie run and then I’ve just gone double bogey bogey with two overp playing the last hole could have been low hit a lot of crazy shots but [ __ ] I don’t [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] know [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] all right guys we just got back from our first two events I am exhausted my legs are killing me I’m definitely not match fit we had a few beers after the round uh not the best recovery but we had a hell of a time um and we’re pretty happy with our first two events we finished tide 27th at ASI proam unfortunately we missed cashing by one stroke um had a horrible back nine we turned in a couple under and then lost a ball down 10 and another one down 14 so I took two really soft double bogeys for the most part we played a lot better than that um but it was pretty good just to get the cobwebs out of the way um and make some birdies um we had quite a few birdies definitely two overpar was the worst score I could have shot I think three underpar won it very surprising I finished that high up the leader board with two over but um we’ll take it um obviously we would have liked to to cash and and not be in the red straight away but um look it was it was really fun to get back out there and play competitively next day we played at one of my favorite golf courses in the world Elanor Country Club super exclusive private course very close to my home there was 70ish Pros that teed it up and we finished in a tie for 14th so we shot five over par um but that was actually really solid it’s a brutal Golf Course doesn’t give up two really really soft double bogeys my first Chip Shot I had I flubbed two shots and then managed to get up and down for a double bogey so we shot five over par um but we will take a tie 14th and get me into the green so we’re off to a good start I’ll go through my stats a little bit here the first day I hit seven from 12 Fairways I just say in play um and then on the second day we hit 9 from 14 so it was just the the misses I had were were pretty big so we got to tighten that up Greens in regulation 13 at aswi and 10 the next day didn’t hit it as good at elanora and at asworth we I think we hit every Green on the front nine so we should have been a few under par we were two could have been four or five had a three put in there up and downs five from nine and four from 10 definitely a lot of work to do most of the up and downs are actually out of bunkers just hitting it to a foot so um the chipping itself needed needs a lot lot of attention the next week or two parting 30 30 parts 31 uh at elanora which was really good um lot of long long two puts slopey ones so 31 putts around there is actually really really good the arm lock feels great my Shore putting inside 4T 5T was um was actually superb so pretty stoked with with how that went so look the stats sort of tell me that I just need to tighten up in a few areas there’s nothing that really stands out the chipping uh as probably predicted was a bit Rusty um but for the most part it was it was really good to to just get out there made a cash in my second event so that puts us in the green and looking forward to the the next three events I hope you’re
