right Gareth sa is set to change it up against Switzerland three at the back and two Strikers what do you make of that think it’s a good idea to be fair we look very very sty so playing with more width is probably the best way to go for it and Tony looks good so I’d like to see Tony and Kane together he plays off him well and uh I reckon we could probably do a lot better with fre back so do you reckon Tony’s going to be the hold up man Kane then can drop back and start creating even more yeah he looked really good well for the two minutes he was on at the start but then in in the extra time of the last game he looked very good so I reckon if he holds it up well we can make a few more chances and get wide as well and potentially B Saka at left wing back what do you make of that I reckon he’s probably going to do a better job than triy at the minute so I do fancy I’d rather he play than trippier did and he looked all right so him maybe Trent on the right as well get some more width and get the ball in the box and start from there 100% I mean what we’re playing right now it’s not worth it at all um think of someone like Trent Alexander Arnold if you play on right wing back that’s going to create a lot more chances for your Tony your kanes left wing back realistic we don’t have a left back right now so Wing back’s the best way to go of it as well and why not why not we’re on year once so you might as well go for it and we Saka playing left wing back as well do you feel like we’re going to get the absolute best out of him or not well we haven’t yet have we so In fairness what we got to take a chance AR we so is the best person right now that we can put there so might as well go for it will will Ivan Tony and Harry Kane with them two playing up top with each other what message would that send to someone like Manuel um aangi and Fabian share who are going to be at the back for Switzerland they’re going to be busy they’re going to be busy to be honest with you Tony is physical as anything Kane will will pick him out easily and with someone like Ian Tony as well we can sniff a goal from anything which again can only boost our chances so yeah I fancy it I fancy us brilliant exactly what we need we go for it uh it’s better than what we’ve been playing we’ve had no movement just sitting around at the back backwards and sideways so go for it nothing to lose attacks our best thing we’ve got really defense is shaky go for it so you think with the Swiss being so defensive minded we need to sort of beat them at their own game yeah just keep going at them and then hopefully they won’t out to deal with us Kane and Tony is at the sort of dream partnership up top as well it’s not a little and L it’s like a Crouch and defo but it’s two absolute units up top do you think that’s going to scare a Kani and also Sher as well no defense is going to want to come up against that so go for it scare him um I’m fine with that obviously it depends like we’ve struggled with these lowb block teams I think two up front might have been the way forward all along especially like they’re going to try and play on the counter after a low block but I think with the the talent that we’ve got we should be able to defend um with with three at the back and obviously with the lads he can always fall into a four regardless so um having that player left and right side obviously a left footed player definitely that’s what we’ve been missing all time I think a left footed player overlapping um on the left hand side so um I think it could be it shows a sort of an attacking mentality as opposed to sitting back keeping the ball you know passing around the back it’s been boring football really all tournament so and it means that Jon Stones can also move into the Midfield and drive the ball forwards because obviously we’ve seen the going sideways so much time we’ve seen we’ve seen him do that for Club level so why can’t he do it for for England and I’ve seen obviously um people saying JW bam and Phil Fen C playing the same team or something very well um you see it in the Premier League all the time he’s manages to get de bruyne play in alongside Fen so how why can’t get Bellingham and Fen playing together so you know it just opens up opportunities so we’ll have to see what what what goes on my worry would be trippier Kieran trippier is still not a a natural left-sided wide player so I don’t think that’ll give us the balance we need he’s got to bring for an inside and have a natural left Winger whether it be eie or uh who’s the other guy that’s on the left Anthony Gordon Anthony Gordon or E yeah he’s got to play one of those so I think it’s meant to be potentially from what I saw this morning Bellingham and foden in the middle working through there with Ivan Tony and Harry Kane up top do you think that Striker partnership because we don’t get Striker Partnerships anymore you Reon that is going to cause a lot of defenses Havoc no if he’s going to play two he’s got to have one with a B Pace surely they’re twoo much similar aren’t they neither of them have got outstanding pair so if he’s going to play two shely a Walkins with one or the other that’s what I would do anyway uh yeah to be fair I think the best we’ve looked at all tournament is probably the first 15 minutes against Serbia and it did look like then for moments in that game that Trent was playing out his right wing back and tripier bit further bit further forward and we look to fret he’s got to try and find a way of getting the best players playing well it’s as simple as that at the end at the end of day ain’t working at the minute so something going to happen for us to win it we need to improve hopefully this is the trick I think that’s a cracking idea to be fair it depends on who plays left and right but three at the back Tony up front causing a bit of nuisance flicking on to Haru to be fair hasn’t got his legs anymore it’s a great idea ma Saka set to be playing on the left as a left wing back do you feel like that’s going to isolate him and we’re not going to get the best out of him but we haven’t got a left footed left wing back no we haven’t have we um I’d have probably put Gordon over there but who am I you know what I mean I’m not I’m not Southgate I probably put Gordon over there put scker on the right or maybe Palmer on the right but yeah we we need we need some Pace on left and right with that team are you confident that we can beat the Swiss on Saturday more confident than I than I was on Sunday we still won so yeah yeah I I think doing something different we’ve got to do something different something needs to change so whether it’s three at the back five at the back or anything just nothing that we’ve seen before this tournament cuz it’s been absolute drabs terrible would you be happy with two Strikers up top if that were to be the case Kane and Tony aren’t the quickest whatsoever um possibly yeah but maybe do five two three potentially so five back two Inn backs push maybe Kane up top with Palmer and saaka oh no sacka left wing back and then Palmer and Gordon on the wings well it makes a change doesn’t it so hopefully it works uh we’ve been terrible so far so hopefully looking up it might might improve as mine it yeah why not go for it we’re only once that way Kane Kane and Tony up top let’s go for it Tony came one over there change game so do you think Tony’s going to be that hold up player which will allow Harry ke Harry Kane to drop deep like he normally does exactly gives him so much space to drop Deep D T Bosch back back at onion bag I’m up for it but Southgate being a Defender um I think he played the same formation he accept same formation as he has always done I think he’s frightened he’s a Defender South Kate’s a Defender uh I’m a h City fan and RoR plays very similar to South Kate and um throughout the season at whole city he never changed it did were senior um all right we come seventh South Gates got the same mentality and um I think he’ll start with the same team uh but I think he’ll bring on maybe Tony maybe Gordon a lot earlier than he has done because I think Sony when he came on on um the other night um they had three strong Defenders yeah did did um Slovakia very big strong Defenders and he upset them and it and that allowed um Kane to come more into the game I think you know what I mean so yeah I think Tony will come on a lot earlier whether Gordon does or not but I think he’ll start with the same formation as always done listen we’re in the quarterfinal
