well it turned into a dramatic final round of the third Arco team series event of the year the Arco team series presented by pif London at the Centurion club and another near Miss for Georgia Hall a day which could have been a r of 73 left at six andar just missing out as far as the individual was concerned she still had the playoff for the team to come Allison Lee firing on the front nine seven birdies going out in 31 just one birdie though on the back nine she came up just short as well 68 in the end for her she finished at minus 6 best round of the week in the final round for the second event in a row fell to Lauren Walsh the Irish woman with a 65 that left her also in that share of third place at minus 6 an eagle finish to boot and how about Maria Hernandez’s play a fourth top 10 in a row for the Spaniard a closing 68 to leave her at 7 under par which for a while looked as if it might be good enough for a potential win or playoff but Leona Maguire had other ideas she led overnight by a couple of shots she struggled went out of bounds with a t-shot at the par five6 but things started to turn around with this approach to the par 4 12th with a tap in birdie she still came down the last hole trailing by a single shot to the par five 18th which was certainly reachable in two she had a fantastic second this was for the win and she made it an eagle three for her first win on the ladies European so in fact history becoming the first ever Irish winner on the tour what a way to do it as well it was a day when a number of players felt they could have won it but it was Leona Maguire who took the spoils a one shot victory over R Hernandez on a day where we saw some great scoring a gat suan with a 66 the first Irish player to play in the solheim cup the first Irish player to win on the LPGA Tour and now the first player to win on the ladies European tour the individual champion at this aramco team series but we still had some more drama to come because we had the playoff between team noo and team Hall who finished at 24 and Par yesterday Georg Hall looking to make amends after missing out on the individual Trophy and she looked determined look at that second shot into the first playoff hole setting her up for an eagle 3 but she was up against the teenage French player Nastasia noo who had this for an eagle 3 herself and she made it they then both birded the second playoff hole which meant a third extra hole was required Georgia Hall couldn’t make her birdie nadoo nerveless taking it for the team bringing to an end what had been a really dramatic Friday on the outskirts of London celebrations for her teammates as well confirmation that at the third extra hole it was team n who took the spores at this aramco team series presented by PF London Nastasia noo along with her teammates Christina napoleoa Mara Pratt and their amateur George Brooks Bank lifting the trophy [Applause] you
