Jordan Spieth refuses to get hooked on question about what should happen to LIV players post merger

Jordan Spieth refuses to get hooked on question about what should happen to LIV players who want to play at PGA Tour events.

Jordan you’re on the policy board through the end of the year can you give us an idea on where these negotiations are do you see them coming to some kind of resolution by the end of your term on the board and and if so what happens to Live players who want to come back over what’s the best way to bring him back into the fold that is an extremely loaded question that I could get in a lot of trouble answering and um I I’ll I’ll just say uh things things of this nature take a little bit of time but they’re very active and that’s about as far as I can go for you would you like to see it finish sooner than later and is there a way to Juice It Up and get it going I’d like to see it done right for everyone so the timing is the timing um obviously if anything can be done right and done sooner uh that’s great but uh I I would I would rather see it done correctly and and um and done the right way for golf going forward for the longest amount of time regardless of how long that takes to get there but yeah

  1. PGA, Golf Channel and other networks were rolling in the money while Tiger was winning everything. And they were paying the stars of the show (players) peanuts. LIV Golf is giving players a fair share. The PGA is pissed because they are losing their cash cow.

  2. PGA tour is and will continue to be the best tour. My prediction the tour will change for the better, LIV will go away and everyone is back playing together again.

  3. Well said JORDAN!!! As far as I am concerned, the way MICALESON talked about the PGA when he left and some of the others
did also, I don’t want them back!!!!!

  4. I've lost interest in watching golf, now that it's diluted. It's broken, and I don't think it can be fixed. Oh wait, maybe throw some more money at it!

  5. The longer they drag this out without taking a firm stance, the more PIF is entrenching itself to the detriment of golf. They are not interested in building the game – they want control. You play around with fire, eventually you're going to get burned, and that's what the Tour is doing. Need someone with backbone to take a stand, but they're afraid of losing "stars". No one is missed as much as they think they are. Even DeChambeau…if he hadn't won the Open someone else would have and they would have been lauded.

  6. I tried watching a LIV tournament. Horrible!! It’s nothing but exhibition golf. That’s it. They have their money. What I loved about golf was, if they wanted to make money, they had to do well.. it’s all changed now.

  7. Well spoken, but let’s not take our time, because the pga tour isn’t fun to watch anymore, the majors are because most of the world’s top players are in it. LIV is ok to watch, but to noisy, that being said we’ve been to a LIV event and had a great time. Hope you can figure this out or it’s gonna go away.🇺🇸🏌️‍♀️✌🏻

  8. If Rory would swallow his ego and sign up for LIV, the merger would be signed in a week. The PGA tour product is garbage. You have people on top of the leaderboards that no one has ever heard of. LIV is horrendous to watch, but when they both come together, golf is great!
