Britain knew how to hype their player . One set loss = wildcard scare . That's normal in tennis especially wildcard draw bcs of their unknown playing style and try to give all the best attitude

As a Djokovic fan I cannot see Novak going deep here. Anyone who has seen him play over the years can clearly see he is not moving as we are used to see him move. No matter what he is saying about the knee, there is definite hindrance there. I hope he proves me wrong of course, but I just can't see how this kind of performance can work against higher rated players. In any case, every time he steps on the court is a blessing for tennis fans no matter the outcome. It's not like he has to prove anything anyway.

TCU’s Jake Fearnley hit 42 winners to Djokovic’s 34! And produced 13 aces against 14 for the Great Champion. He won 26 points at the net. TCU fans are not surprised. Jake led the Horned Frogs to the 2024 NCAA Men’s Tennis National Championship 5/19/24 against rivals Texas, also beating Ohio State, Kentucky and Duke along the way. He’s one tough Fighting Scot. All heart, ripping fast, and almost no backswing. His great TCU coaches got him ready and he listened. Merchiston Castle Tennis Academy in Edinburgh should be proud. Keep an eye on Jake’s mates Jack Pinnington Jones and Johannus Monday, too.
