and this is the fantasy golf pot I got a beer from my neighbor who had this old can it it expired in December whatever all right Amateur hour I don’t even know why I’m participating in this but we’re doing this we’re spinning the wheel are you guys familiar with the wheel house bet on the wheel uh this week we got a dozen names we went all in potentially 14 to one you guys liking that idea who else do we do Davis Thompson he’s already to 20 to1 oh my gosh you guys okay so here check this out I’m G to share the whole screen um this week I’ve bet on a bunch of names already look at this closing line value we got on Jake nap 110 to one and now he’s over here and he’s like 70 to one so we like that little Jake naap action do we bet on Joel damid at 125 to one he’s down this 60 to one we got Ben Griffin at 60 and he’s 70 for some reason all the other ones okay Shipley 80 now Shipley’s at 65 look at this sunjay right when uh can’t lay with Drew I banged sunj at 18 I banged out Davis Thompson at 25 to one and we’ve got Carl Yuan oh I bet I’m Patrick Reed to win the BMW International open not sure what’s up with that uh so we got some house bet potential action uh yeah I don’t really know I don’t know why uh spe’s 25 to1 and then Denny and Davis Thompson are 20 and 22 to1 to spe suck maybe he sucks but hopefully wheel picks him maybe the wheel pick Maverick mcney is he 28 to one I could do that what about Jason day does it feel like no one’s looking at Jason day he could pop Rogers or hodgers at 60 uh Joel Damon I don’t know why 60 to one what the hell he was 125 to1 Monday morning Shipley Griffin nap Yuan spin it let’s see the wheel for the John Deere classic we’re spinning around it’s passing Jason day it’s going to Jordan Speed yeah Jordan Speed 20 Denny no it’s went to Denny at the last second Denny McCarthy 22 to1 Denny to get his first PGA Tour victory at 20 22 to1 since I’m at my home studio which we’ve already experienced some technical difficulties being here uh we can make the bat live on air so we’re trying to win like 1420 on this guy 65 bucks is that a lot oh 67 to get me down to 3,000 should we just do that but we like the 420 action 1420 it’s for fun and um oh yeah typically off the top we got to talk about the weather that’s very important especially this week when there is weather there’s a factor for wind and rain and potentially chilly cold temperatures in the morning here look at this okay on Friday morning July 5th you’re going off at 64 66 68 whatever this is could be air temperature F and then the day before you’re going out the 70s pretty low in the morning but then look at this it’s heating up in the afternoon on Thursday but the wind is pretty steady Thursday Fourth of July getting up to 20 M hour the next day Friday we’ve got an issue here in the afternoon the winds are going to pick up to 33 miles an hour in the afternoon on a gust oh man um how do you how do you f what do you what do you do what did I say to do I said uh I think you may want to Target Am Pm Stacks to play into Friday’s wind and cold in the morning okay you might as well get the easy scoring guys on Friday morning in the best conditions in the AM PM waves include my guy sunj Jake knap oh I did pull this up so you got some people going off in the morning this is the communications uh tour Twitter account telling you who to play out of the AM PM wave and then this is the PM am wave uh you know typically you want stars and scrubs in the um PM am just because then they don’t have to face the you know they don’t have to face Their Fear on Friday afternoon with the winds blowing in so what are you going to do you going to go to Ben Griffin are you going to go to Sam stevens or Rogers or spe or Poston or Shipley uh where’s Denny the house bet on Denny McCarthy digging in the Denny dirt is in the PM shoot oh well I don’t know if it matters as much for the elites of the elites where they tea off from and what time but that’s something that you want to consider and we also consider what happened last week on the rocket mortgage Strokes gain statistics we don’t really go into Strokes gained on the fantasy golf pod we just crack beers click names their beer gut brain what I do know is that if you putt too well it’s hard to do that again and so therefore the woo Brothers Dylan and Brandon they were um your best putting performances last week Andy Novak puted pretty good Rico Hoy he uh putted himself into a top six place that’s pretty good Sam Stevens putted well Aaron Ry puted well spawn puted well McNeely puted well Luke list Patrick rer ah so you got to consider that as a factor into your criteria for clicking and then you got a Strokes gained approach people but putted poorly Carl Yuan that’s why I wouldn’t bet Carl Yuan at 225 to one I think he’s like 6,400 this week could try him out he putted poorly but he had 5.4 Strokes on approach that was the fourth best approach performance of anyone last week uh performed better than the [ __ ] the one guy that won other names to consider uh Neil Shipley this is why I kind of like bet on Neil Shipley at 80 to1 who’s now down to 65 to1 Shipley we don’t know much about him he’s kind of a newer guy but um negative 2.7 on Strokes again approaching he was 8.1 on uh Strokes gain green uh another name I looked at is Johnny Vegas ped poorly and same with Bo Hustler who’s coming on to a uh surface the the bent grass greens here he’s performed better at bent grass than most people I was listening to Rick rung good and that came up for him sometimes you look at the te to Green totals and you look at that you can see Davis Thompson not a dominated T to Green he’s going to perform well what about Patrick Fishburn Fishburn as a flyer interested uh another because he he was 4.5 Strokes lost on the putter Fishburn top 25 don’t even know anything about him actually Jake knp was 6.4 Strokes ke Strokes gain T green it was pretty much all gained with his driver off the T but lost 3.1 with the putter Joel Damon 20 top 25 last week performed well with strok Gant to Green pretty balanced between his driver and his approaches and lost with the putter Chan Kim lost with the putter big Le missed the cut who else Keith Mitchell lost with putter kind of always does that’s some of the stuff I look at um stats don’t lead anyone to answers that is true Bo Hustler actually has gained oh the only person that’s gained more Strokes gain T green uh with the putter in this field other than Denny is B Hustler all right should we go through the price ranges I I like to go through those quickly and talk about the clowns and the free squares and stuff like that clown is obviously spe in this 10K range for some reason he is 105 despite the fact that he is not playing well at all his last top 10 was the Valero Texas open I don’t even know how he did that um maybe his wrist got hurt in February at the Waste Management Phoenix Open where he had a T6 I don’t actually know where it all went downhill maybe it was the 73 in round two of the Genesis in February but since then he’s pretty shitty he won the tournament in 2015 or whatever it was a long time ago a different human being entirely so um my suggestions to you maybe you can go back to Ry but I don’t really like Ry and I think Ry peaked a little bit last week he’s kind of see how ry’s risen he’s risen all the way to T2 he had his chance and I don’t know I think he’s gotta work his way back up again so I’m skipping that I think you double tap in the 10K range with straa and sunj 104 103 get them both because that’ll put you down to 7325 per person and for your last four you’re getting really good win Equity with these two I think they’re like the most likely to actually win they’re the betting favorites and um you’re not really getting that popular oh shoot I was supposed to look at my guy Rosetta Stone shipit nation.com I don’t know who’s going to be the most popular we’ll have to wait and see they haven’t updated their thing since yesterday at 5:00 which is inconvenient for me who likes to do the podcast at about one o’clock on Wednesdays but our guy uh degenerate 75 James he’ll be live tonight on that YouTube channel so you can check that out where were we we’re going over the price ranges we’re going into the 9k range where we’re going to figure out who’s the most own and then we’re going to fade them maybe because the ownership is sometimes a power ranking but sometimes you can’t click ownership and get wins in GP PS or can you I wanted to review last week’s short game this contest consists of 35,6 se1 lineups so uh you can’t play chalk right oh wait just kidding this guy had a 17.9 a 22.2 a 20.6 owned in his first three Clicks in and then he had another 11% another 8% and he won the tournament I like to actually post this on my YouTube or YouTube my uh Twitter account where you can see who scored the most points Cameron Davis he’s only a little less than eight% owned he scored the most points but then look at that chalk Min Le 119 chalk Davis Thompson 20% owned 117 chalk Baka 28.9 the most owned guy he was really good and was actually needed no he wasn’t needed in that lineup but he was needed in this lineup he was needed in this lineup he was needed in this lineup and he was needed in this lineup and he was needed this lineup and this lineup used him and this lineup did not this lineup used him this lineup used him I mean like so seven out of the top 10 teams Ed the most own name so what does that even tell you good luck Ry also 22% owned and the fifth best player 11% owned look at that one two three I mean these are the top most owned names overall and these people are are in these lineups that’s craziness even Cameron young 25% owned 11th didn’t really hurt you I don’t know what can you take away from that uh ownership important but not necessarily the biggest Factor because you do need ownership listen especially in a field like this do you see the names that are in this tournament it’s garbage trash names and they’re all withdrawing too so you got the top price name withdraw well that’s going to lead some more ownership up in the top price because people spend their money then you got the last week’s winner the $9,300 guy he’s withdrew and then you got another guy Montgomery was playing well last week he’s 8,000 he withdrew so ownership is condensing especially with the way that they didn’t even do a 5k range um actually I don’t know maybe that helps but at the same time what do you do what do you do okay because you could do like I said you could double tap and you got straa an M up there and then I was comparing that straa M start to a different different start where you go in the 9k range and you kind of go with the McNeely Thompson Stevens and that leaves you 76 oh wait I’m just kidding Stevens leaves you 72 would you rather have a McNeely Thompson Stevens chalky start or would you rather go straa [Music] M I don’t know um but I think you can let me show you this here um watch this so you consider in the 9k range going after MC Neely or Davis Thompson they are the best plays and actually should be in the 10K range they should probably be more spe’s priced uh you could argue that Thompson is playing the best golf out of anybody I told you last week that $8,300 Davis Thompson should be preloaded into everyone’s roster that was underpriced and you play great you almost won the tournament last week second after finishing T9 in the freaking US Open the dudes played really well all season is second the Myrtle Beach for the Wheel by the way you got he’s beating up these shitty Fields he’s a top 20 at the punana Texas Children open top 21 top 25 at the Mexico that’s a long bombing Place top 15 at the waste management dude is good actually at golf and I don’t know but it does kind of feel like this is the moment in time where you could get off of something like Davis Thompson you go to the wheels pick Denny McCarthy there was only a minute ago that we thought Denny McCarthy was going to win first tournament he’s so consistent 9500 Denny McCarthy that’s probably a great click if you did M Denny you could probably get away from some of the chalk and it wouldn’t it wouldn’t hurt you um I do like considering the King clown in the 9k range Jason day Jason day 9400 I don’t know how they came up with that how is Jason day any worse of a golfer than Jordan Speed um Keith Mitchell I don’t know do you like that or JT posted nah oh yeah did nav DT Steven $7,200 okay this is weird uh they all could be $7,900 because like all these 8K names look at these 8K names these could all be 7900 Dunlop is the n is the $8,900 name and then you got Kevin U where’ they come up with this you got Lucas Glover $8,700 Luke Clanton Cole hubard power spencon Hustler I mean what’s weird is that like I could argue that Hustler’s a good click and then I do like power and senson but I don’t know and then Cole played well last week after not after being the King clown for us last week of course he shows up that’s exactly how they work out these clowns these King clowns emerge out of nowhere but then how are you gonna say to yourself yes I’d like to take $8,900 Dunlap I’m that’s why the ownership for shipet Nation isn’t out yet because nobody actually knows how what’s going to happen here because is anyone going to use any of these names because Clanton can he do as good as he did last week where was Clanton in terms of T green where did Clinton was 10th he puted well too do you know anything about Luke Clanton you just saw him the Uso so I don’t know he swings it so fast his swing speed is fast so that’s good for people I guess I could argue that and then Glover I don’t know King clown Glover definitely this feels like the wise Glover price this way I mean Kevin you where did they come up with the $8,800 Kevin U price literally that could be King clown cuz who’s going to kick click you cuz at least for Glover you know he’s a major winner you’ve heard his name before and he won the tournament 2021 hubard also the model darling getting love but Hub is a total fraud he’ll make the cut and just do nothing for you do you ever think you’ll ever see hubard in a winning lineup because he just doesn’t score enough points and he doesn’t finish high enough for $8,400 and he’s popular that’s why I think you go power senson and Hustler could you do those bottom three they’re the least expensive three they’re the ones I actually could argue power’s playing good every once in a while 16th cut 27th cut 20 8300 try it what about senson didn’t senson get a bunch of love going into last week and he missed the cut he’s a hubard Jr he’s a just like hover that’s why I don’t even know maybe you do you don’t do that you don’t care about that because all these 7K names just could be in the K range and you would’t even bat an eye especially the guy at $7,900 Ben Griffin he keeps contending like randomly he was second at the RBC Canadian open these people all suck this tournament is filled with trashy names that’s why you go after the name no one’s ever heard of like Dorne Boron try that you missed the cut last week burned a bunch of people maybe what was his ownership last week Thoren Boron he’s not on this list oh but I do tweet the ownership projections he was 9% on okay not that big a deal oops um or yeah I think you do Shipley you go putam how come putam is getting no love and Novak’s the one getting love but Novak putted too well last week putam could show up I’ve been waiting for a putam to contend for a decade Daniel Burger Todd no could Bridgeman so that’s why it’s like Joel Damon $7,300 he’s probably going to be one of the more popular names if he’s already bet down to 60 to1 there’s your ownership projection tell is if they’re started off at 125 to1 and they’re bet down to 60 to one by Wednesday that’s ridiculous and he’s $7,300 he’s probably gonna be 22% on I like bramlet I like gotd her up too and he just won so I think he’s he’s The Hangover has hung a little too long but if he didn’t have the 77 maybe if he even had like a 74 or three maybe he would have looked better after last week but he basically finished last two weeks in a row bomat got her up bom bomber up same with brandl’s a bomber L Luke list is a bomber I’ve heard Silverman’s name at $7,100 but then Jake naap which is like if this is not chalk and you guys are idiots I’m sorry Jake at $7,100 it
