He was too annoying back in the early 2000s for me. I’ve been a staunch hater ever since.
I tried liking the guy!! Even followed him for a few holes and cheered him on. He just was annoyed and disgruntled.
I too did not qualify for these reasons

Way before I ever got into golf, I remember my grandfather telling me that he hated Sergio Garcia because he was always complaining about something and finding new ways to make excuses for everything. I guess some things never change.
