With just five weeks remaining before the FedExCup Playoffs, the PGA TOUR heads to the Quad Cities for the John Deer Classic. Jordan Spieth returns to the John Deere Classic for the first time since 2015. Spieth is a two-time winner at TPC Deere Run including in his last appearance nine years ago when he shot a third-round 61. Spieth’s 2013 victory at the John Deere Classic was his first TOUR title. Reigning champion Sepp Straka aims to become the first repeat winner since Steve Stricker won three in a row from 2009-2011. The Austrian is currently 17th in the FedExCup standings and has four top-10 finishes so far this year. Jason Day is another contender with four top-10 finishes in 2024 and returns to TPC Deere Run for the first time since 2011. Day has never missed the cut at the John Deere Classic in five appearances, with his best finish (T15) coming in back-to-back years, 2009-10. Other names to look out for this week include Sungjae Im, J.T. Poston, Jake Knapp, Aaron Rai and Joel Dahmen.

shape one in there left to right flushed it in there nicely oh another good we saw a lot of that last week from first time we’re taking a look at this t-shot par 316th 166 yards and by the way it’s the second toughest hole on the golf course today oh faki throws a dart in there valaki this for a round of 61 turn a little bit how about it oh valaki pumps it in in the center D McCarthy’s third shot going to use that slope over to his left maybe a little bump shot here there’s the bump there’s the slope there’s the result is that any good oh get out of here this is so fun to watch he’s holding his own he’s one under for the day of Birdie at 15 he started at the T it certainly is holding his own he has the best look of all three a couple under yeah from 166 on the left hand side of the Fairway this is aggressive line it’s actually right at it there man beautiful little shot in there Billy Ray kind of started to the right turned it right off that slope yep and then he got hot Glover and route for birdie this one also looks good why wouldn’t he Glover Bird’s the last and that’s a 64 yeah disappointing par at the 17th but follows it up with a nice putt there at 18 to finish the day you’d call that a fairway finder wouldn’t you John yeah out there about 330 and Luke Clanton found the Fairway at 15 currently 600 part trying to get another one he is playing Fearless golf he is so dialed in their gym fun to watch sure is that was a 59 Springer middle of the Fairway at 18 just give us a look at it that’s what he’s saying just a quality swing you don’t have to Hole it here you don’t have to h a foot just have a nice look you heard him say let’s go baby let’s go and what a shot for Hayden Springer yes Hayden Springer a 12 under 59 and just like that he makes history on
