The DP World Tour heads to Golfclub München Eichenried for the BMW International Open, the final event of the European Swing, the fourth of five Global Swings on the 2024 Race to Dubai. There’s plenty at stake at the sixth and final counting event of the Swing, with a spot at the Genesis Scottish Open up for grabs to the Swing Champion as well as places in The 152nd Open at Royal Troon for the top five players not otherwise exempt on the Race to Dubai. Current Swing leader Guido Migliozzi will be teeing up this week hoping to retain his position at the top above Nacho Elvira, while Thriston Lawrence returns to defend the title he won last year and last week’s champion Marcel Siem is among a number of German stars that will be hoping to impress on home soil. Away from the top of the rankings, one of the biggest focuses of the week will be on Bernhard Langer, the most successful German golfer of all time, who is set to make his 513th and final appearance on the DP World Tour. Ryan Fox will also make his third appearance in a regular DP World Tour event this season as he begins a three-week stretch in Europe and he is joined by 2016 Masters champion Danny Willett, who won his maiden DP World Tour title at the BMW International Open in 2012 at Golf Club Gut Lärchenhof Cologne.

over at 12 161 yards lovely parile three eight from the right the flag tough to get at but not for Oh What A View drinks on you mat his best out with the what is it 21st hole in one of the Season yes they don’t make him like him anymore such a tidy player always been great around the greens now short power fours at four and five that was a super shot yeah you said it all Andrew respect kimer at the last his ninth the nth his last I should say one bogey but a b there for 69 yeah winner here of course in 2008 Martin kimer Patrick Reed back over here playing in the DP world this was his thir three yeah he was add in 32 starting at the 10th what a time to chip in just to keep the Run going this looks like a little bit of a double breaker to me might just fall a little left to right at the very end on grain he’s got another one he’s on a roll how about they’re 60 years of age cou on the par showing the young Pros how it should be done normally very straight iron hitter as well aagan that’s a cracker look at this right down by the hole side just 3 feet from the birdie yeah one hole further ahead and this for a birdie for burnhard and the butter behaving itself there’s the trademark fist pump and you can hear just how many fans are out there with him enjoying himself off and accelerating through just gently keep the club head flowing yes that’s the first free lesson of the day but spot on and Aero with a chip out and a beautiful pitch so front of the green at the third birded the first hole Luke Donald a good part second good try this is also a very good effort and it’s going to find the bottom of the cup what a start from Luke Donald this to break part and it goes a 71 and currently just outside the top 20 Sensational performance for Bernard Langer on the te next to you I would always be very afraid yeah you should be smeared at the fourth not so much mud on this ball more control beautifully played [Applause] I do remember that as well he was the only player in the world at that time averaging over 300 yards isn’t that incredible he probably got 80 on each tour now the average of 300 y de BR finished third last week in Italy go him in here David mutti for the body and delade and it goes young Australian player he’s going to make his way over here a couple of years ago but Co here we go my compatriot on the champions tour still a very good player I tell you he can golf his ball and neither of you have lost that competitive Instinct either very different look for the 10th hole this year there was a huge tree that used to sit down the right side by the water hazard that fell down believe it or not and now it’s a driver off the te and there’s nothing blocking the second shot so it’s an easier hole now way easier yeah those bunkers well your favorite player Mark Shino well one of my favorite Putters I’ve ever seen don’t let me down oh he doesn’t there you go it is just amazing how he just the perfect package Pace line reads the greens beautifully and yeah it was right in the middle that’s a nice way to reach the turn 35 birdie at nine the way he’s setting up he’s going to hit it uh pretty straight and let the wind do its thing oh that’s a class shot that really was fantastic from [Applause] ate 138 wind hard out of the left here third shot for Jimenez little bit of a grassy Li so distance control is going to be very difficult I’m getting a bit of grief today it’s a long week game never ends they say you know it’s been fun to watch this man coming up through the ranks big tall left-hander powerful player appeared from pretty much nowhere at the European open and since then he’s got better and better and now he starting to look very assured and confident second shot from pets at 13 a you can throw it on From Here Andrew you can’t believe how long this t- shot is just a little soft spinner required yeah sensation right back to TA in distance and he’s going to get himself under par after a Dreadful start going a sign oh yes say that looked lovely all the way didn’t it that was never anywhere else leaving the flag in three budies on the back nine there for S gets him to minus three on side from dro Scot just outside the home of golf up the green into the middle of the hall and S gets to minus 4 forecast is not great for the weekend up ahead at 18 down the hill is Le Porter for an eagle oh how about that that is a magnificent way to finish changes a day changes a week possibly 149 straight down win for Jimenez he just scooted that thing up about 50 yards after it first hit the ground spanson it’s over 102 to the flag of 15 how was that connection oh Beauty but last he’s oh a bit unlucky there with the pitch mark lost about 12 in maybe of the run back to the hole shoulder coming off that left Fringe it’s a chippy one get down quick that just shows you what the ho’s playing beautiful shot American Jeff Overton for birday at 16 trying to battle his way back former Ridder couple played a Celtic Manor for the Americans I also played in Italy last week pouring in the front edge there from Jeff Overton not a lot in this putt this is just about speed gently downhill yeah very good try for the eagle certain bird if you an IT Paul so he tiptoes on the PA of the day d w 37 34 good b n now 7 one for the gym five wins on the DP World Tour for him wait to see him back playing on the main tour heill for biry at 16 and a good birdie it is he’s still got chances looks like it’s sitting down here in N third shot and normally a great chiper there you go superb from Jeff he you know he’s one of my favorite characters on the DP World Tour Jeff he’s hilarious he’s fun you can see yourself in him can’t you absolutely 100 % a little eccentric long way back off the te yeah must have a go trying to at least get one back deserves at least level far for me Luke Donald what a shot what a shot that is fantastic after a fantastic hybrid for Donald can he convert can you can he can you know what a finish for the rer Cup captain Great Eagle to finish with for the 46 year old hung in there hung tough bigy P professional wins two major wins 12 senior Majors 42 DP World Tour championships and 46 PGA Champion victories for Bernhard Langer what an incredible career of course A World Golf Hall of Famer no man to best him terrific 66 for him four players at the moment you Fergus a chance to get close three holes left to play with the Scot round in the red numbers but I just want to start off asking you if you could just summarize and describe the atmosphere out there for us today oh it’s unbelievable I teed off at 7:40 so I go to the tea at 7:30 in the morning and there were seemed like thousands of people and uh the atmosphere was incredible the whole uh you know all the way around it’s just amazing and and we truly enjoyed it it was great to play with Marshall and with Martin and you know I said this could be the last time we ever play golf together and U that’s reality so it was an amazing day it’s just wonderful for the people the way they turned out and how they cheered us on all day long does it amplify the emotions when you get to play alongside those two Germans of course it does yeah yeah we’ve become very close friends over the years and uh we cheer each other on across the oceans and wherever we are around the world always happy with you know like Marcel won last year last week in Italy uh and I texted him immediately from Florida and you know just stuff like that it’s it’s great to see and I’m very proud that we have so many young German players now on all the many tours around the world and and they’re successful too it took a long time but it’s it’s finally taking roote and it’s to see absolutely and you touched on how you’ve got a little bit shorter over the years and the course has got a little bit longer but how do you feel as though the course has suited your game uh it doesn’t suit my game it’s too long I’ve hit more three woods and two hybrids today than I want to hit in in two weeks so uh but you know that’s the way it is the young game uh has just grown that way uh these guys if you don’t hit it 300 in the air you’re you’re no good basically so uh that’s there’s a reason I’m won the Champions to yeah absolutely was fun watching you play thank you very much thank you

  1. The thoughtfulness and consideration exchanged here are commendable, fostering a safe space for expression.🐱

  2. I'm continually amazed by the depth of wisdom and insight shared by my fellow women. It's like being in the presence of mentors and role models.😛

  3. I see common sense has prevailed and liv players are now invited to play DP tour. Pelley succeeded in destroying the tour . Top ten going to the pga tour should never have been allowed to happen. Let’s get our Ryder cup hero’s back also.
