got all the celebrations there Grant Boon and Karen stuffles watching four ball this morning Lexi at 4 fourth is not an easy par three but Lexi really showing how it’s done making a move this morning with Brooke at the sixth I mean that whole location is nicely open for bro with that short eye to attack she goes right ahead and attacks and she would make that and that team would get to eight under well the afternoon wave really went after it yesterday in alternate shot Jennifer ccho and Ali eing shot 64 as well and here’s ccho just moments ago at 10 well I just Tred to control that one nicely and she certainly does that and we go to number eight and Karen always a tough hole here helps to have a partner it really does because one of you can be a little bit more aggressive and the other one can play slightly more controll golf but this looks like a good swing here that she’s put on this shot oh Alexa Pano is one of our past Champion teams the Janar sisters Moria with her second at the 10th he did a lot of that in the four ball format here’s Alex aano clean up that birdie LPGA winners nine again here’s Charlie with K while out watching this pap yeah really the first hole where both teams are having a bit of a challenge making par players will talk about ham and egging it like one player makes a bogey but someone else saves the [Applause] par yeah these two are as thick as can see there there for the hole coming back the other way number eight and a really good approach little easier angle from the right center of the Fairway to this left hole location all right n this is rosang for a birdie she’s playing with Alexa Pano who’s already missed her birdie part they’re three under for the day this pair the youngsters known each other since agga golf so a lot of the pairings here the relationship between the players the friendships go back stars of the game will know players that aren’t necessarily as high ranked but they play junior golf together and they’re very good friends it’s a birdie putt there for Ali Ying out in the first group today with Jennifer cupo cupo was saying she asked Ally about 20 times up to the 18th and a rookie from Japan ma [Music] saigo maybe oh very nice cross the driveway here at Midland Country Club to the short 12th 239 yesterday Karen 287 today yeah so te’s been placed back Dow headquartered close to here so it’s going to be pretty busy this afternoon hope the Sun comes out cuz it’ be a lot nicer for the folks that come out to enjoy the golf area now third shot oh yeah lovely can handle cloudy days but they do have beautiful Summers here in Michigan they’re long days and they are gorgeous making up for the the rather tough Winters yeah beautiful place to spend the summer up ahead Ali Ying second at 12 area now for a birdie it’s m to seven under par pass winners here they know how to get it done you’ve got to keep the pedal down and keep making birdies in this format just a little little Sand Wedge y a find the right side of the Fairway Brooke does it a lot it’s almost like part of her routine [Music] I just wonder if if in her past she’s pulled the wrong club and accidentally hit it she doesn’t trust her sister she trust her a l not quite that much second shot for Ying at the 16th area jandar oh she’s she’s Bing a little bit of form right now hitting some good quality shots in here the format that just sort of freeze it up to for anyone to think that they can win I I think it’s the format I I I think it’s having a partner having you know being part of a team out there am Yang for birdie they’re running out of time here the the cut is top 33 teams and so it’s likely it’s couple under part at the moment likely go to four under you’d think this is a tire titun second at 15 yeah oh very good very good then you shot an alternate shot you should you you would think but sometimes that doesn’t happen because golf right well and and also the the format suits different players different ways Charlie coming off a slight little downhill lie solidly struck iron right there oh she loved it right away that little down slope helping to keep the ball lower into the wind and with the cloud cover and the cooler air ball just hasn’t been flying as far it’s warming up a bit well how about those shots in just like here in Midland Grace Kim at 15 he’s driven it a long way down there aggressive off the T but you can do that yeah just to stay there first to 17 yeah we talked about it already how these two been clever in the way they’ve played Mario usually plays first plays oh she drops the club high standards for ARA she’ll have a 25-footer for birdie just allows you to play quickly it allows you to pop out on a Sunday morning and play in 2 hours and be home in two kind of a little three4 looking swing she’s good at those really play well tomorrow in the forom to try and make up some ground cuz that’s really where you have a chance to that’s what happened last year with uh Elizabeth zoko and cheyen night they shot 62 on Friday in the alternate shot as a rose drops one just over the top of the flag this allows players to have a little rest they can get ready for it this is a good fun week for them it allows them to decompress after last week too back at 17 Kim going to go right at it by the looks of things yeah she just took that aim back at the 17th hole is hay on you for a birdie down into that area yeah joined the LPGA and won as a teenager and that short one for birdie moves them to double digits and at the moment two back oh she’s a she’s a very powerful player has lots of ability lots of talent for this game I think she’s still finding finding it uh I think some players find it hard to accept how much talent they have and and how much ability they have and I think that’s where she is Grace Kim at the 18th she’s had one ace already today totally feeling it a put to tie the lead here and it was easy work there for want say
