so it’s the morning of the tournament and I am very very excited now I don’t have the pre-tournament jetters yet which is a good sign um a lot of the best tournaments or the best days on the water I’ve ever had I just kind of go out and have some fun with it and that’s what Nathan and I were talking about last night is just going out and having fun today we fished a team tournament probably two years ago now and morning of day one I was locked up super tight super like jacked we’re going to go and you know all these big plans of grander and uh today it’s just going to be a lot of fun I do have a game plan we’re going to start out on the south end of the lake we’re going to be targeting fish that are on bed spawning uh as well as just hanging around these big mil foil or grass clumps I don’t know what kind of grass it is and that’s going to be the game plan and then we’ll kind of run some of those deep beds and some more bers over on the west side that I found as well as some kind of sneaky stuff out of the way that hopefully no one else is going to get on um but that’s the game plan we’re just going to have some fun today as you guys can see DED sker is right behind me we’re going to run that in the in the tournament today uh old champ is going to hang out she’s going to hang out and uh take a day off she was run pretty hard the last 3 days so we’re going to get headed out we’re going to get things loaded up you ready to go daddy DS that burp dude I did that was loud that was pretty impressive what’s up everybody I’m here I made it a little late last night but we’re here to fish tournament I’m going to just stand on B shoulders and try to catch fish out of the back of the boat and let’s go have some fun should we take a pinky prise pinky I pinky promis to try my best today bro that’s all we can do is try our best I’m excited for today not really any nervous Jitters it’s more so just excited to see what we’re going to be able to catch I have no idea what to expect today really truly no idea but we’re going to go out have some fun hopefully catch some fish finally put some on a scale and actually try to lean on them a little bit cuz in practice we let up pretty pretty hard so DS you excited I’m ready want to rock it’s going to be fun let’s rock and roll [Music] going in we knew it was going to be super windy but I really wanted to check that win one missing anymore if people don’t shoot at least one deer every single year up here they must be terrible Hunters there was a tree stand and there was a deer underneath the tree stand or not even a tree out of here with four fish i’ feel pretty good we have basically three so far so if we can get one more we can get one more good one before we got to go over and run some other stuff I’ll feel pretty nice I told you we’d be able to see a bu we just got to keep our heads down there’s a reason right there’s a reason I’ve always tried to do the sneaky and I just don’t know if it’s always necessary well there were yesterday a bunch of old men were near me but I didn’t see anyone catch anything straight to it or fish up to it uh how far out over your boat 400 ft get a little closer you can just probably cut it down right here [Music] I blasted them here in the morning with the oh there’s one on a bed huh there’s one on a bed right there two on a bed we’re going to be right on it take one if you callau him not a giant but at five five fish wow wow wow wow [Music] wow Yep this is better than I expected in the first hour I’ll tell you five right five with a gup five with a gup yep that was that bad right yep yep okay okay so that was that and this isn’t even my best bed area really not I wouldn’t mind getting rid of the little one and maybe even the two pounder here here you go prob ready when you are I don’t care about that b b I found it in the river Tangled in my Dr over yesterday don’t even worry about it not not that one though we got to limit it for about 16 lb do you like that it’s going to eat the other one thank God cuz I was going to to tell I got one that’s really close by swear he touches Tom we need a courtesy DMP Ben told me he was around three Pounders this was not even a one pounder like I could have come here this morning and C him I could never have gotten what you’re doing right now this is why we need a team right like this is why you and I make a good team right [Music] [Music] that’s bigger than four dude I got to breathe for a second I don’t think I’ve breathed in the last hour yeah 1991 okay we got two that we can do okay we got about 20 lbs right now way way way better than I was expecting um it sets us up in a pretty decent position now we just got to look and kind of upgrade we can get to 22 23 lbs I feel really really really good but but uh it’s 9:00 right now and see if we can continue to make happen I didn’t expect this place to play quite as well as it did right down here but we got a lot of other stuff to look at oh that do huh you going left no right I don’t know that’s you got to be 3 and a half small what did you sayb that’s a lot that’s a lot though qu pound in a small mom tournament it’s like a pound in a large M tournament feel big I don’t know how big any of these are I’m being honest with you I didn’t catch not [Music] one huh I don’t think we can make it that’s a pretty good one not to make it you catching them Mason yeah I feel yeah same we’re catching them okay but we need them better ounces in this tournament are going to go long long long way really they’re running in like 2ot of water [Music] yeah what a what a day I just got back in the truck um we wait 212 lb so phenomenal phenomenal day um well I thought we were going to win it for a little bit there but uh Noah staer my buddy and uh Greg sahaki ended up winning with 22 we knew we needed 22 plus to probably have a shot to win today could not have gone any better as far as like uh just in general having some fun going out and catching some fish and it was a lot of fun like I netted I was net man and uh this dude was the one that caught all the fish first losers today baby you can’t be mad at first loser and we had a great great time BL you fished super clean we did I think I lost one that I went and caught right after two casts later so oh dude what a day what a day dude you found it I made it happen and then we just did it what a day it was so much fun I’ll catch you guys later see you dude see you
