Can I Make It On The Disc Golf Pro Tour? | No Tour To Pro Tour

This was a fun change of pace, I feel like if I continue this series that it will help me improve my game. The par 4 that I designed today at Freeman was defiantly challenging and something I look forward to attack again. Who knows maybe someday I’ll be able to play on the disc golf pro tour. If you guys enjoy this style of content be sure to let me know in the comments and I will make a “No Tour To Pro Tour” playlist 🤘

what’s going on guys welcome back to the channel and today we’re going on the pro tour well I’m going to be trying to design a pro tour quality par 4 did you know it’s like $350 to play an event we ain’t got that kind of money we got pro tour at home what makes a par 4 or five on the pro tour any different than your normal course well I’ve narrowed it down to three different things one all par fours need to be around 800 ft and any anything that’s a par five has to be 1,000 ft two it should require at least two different shot shapes to get to the green and most of the time that green needs to be pretty guarded and then finally number three getting a birdie should almost be impossible unless you’re an elite level player so hang out guys and let’s see if I can go from no tour to Pro Tour welcome back to the Eric Jenkins Disc Golf Channel today we’re going to be playing a customade pro tour level par 4 it’s about 880 ft to the pin you want to start off with around a 42 ft anheiser Flex Shot the tree that you see to the left here is at that 410 ft [Music] Mark your second shot is going to be around 420 ft you’re really just trying to line it up with this Fairway so that you have a straight shot all the way to the basket let’s try to get a birdie guys we’re going to be going to Hole three at Freeman Lake from hole one’s teapad that should set us up pretty good for a second shot so now I have some decisions to make my t-shot landed here which is really good I wish I could have pushed a little closer to this tree probably about 320 off the te here it’s kind of uphill now the wall of trees that we see just straight ahead that’s kind of Threes Fairway that’s about 500 ft from here so I’m thinking probably another just straight rip what do you think Anthony Barella would do here so now we’ve got kind of a funky Fairway we’re here in Two Shots which is pretty good setting up maybe for an easy par the problem is I think I would have to go over top of these trees and know exactly where the pin is for that to happen so I think I’m going to punch and try to throw straight down this gut and then the pin is to the right trying to throw flat and straight under this limb that’s almost perfect should be able to see the pin from there this is kind of a really tough par 4 which is what you would want on the pro tour so if I could have gu around 500 ft off the te it would have made the second shot a lot easier but the green is still very guarded so I feel like this is a pretty decent design let me know in the comments guys really wish that I could have pushed this shot just a little farther and got to the Fairway and now we’re looking at kind of a tricky little forehand turn over through the top Gap up there maybe this is going to be really tough to get a five that’ll work all right so we’re putting for five I feel like that that’s a pro tour bogey that’s a six not quite Pro Tour ready yet but uh I I really wasn’t expected to be this was a very challenging par 4 so that’s my best shot at designing a pro tour level par 4 maybe next time I’ll use like a dirt teapad or a different spot on the course and see what we can come up with this was a really fun challenge for sure if I had some more distance off the te I could have probably got in here and maybe got a four you’re looking at Anthony berel style distance to get here in Two Shots let me know in the comments guys do you think that this was a par four or a par five so that’s no tour to Pro Tour let me know in the comments if you guys enjoyed this video and I just might make it a series just like I did Super hle Sunday and that playlist is right here have a great day stay in the Fairway thanks guys I’m probably not ready for the Pro Tour tag banza he can tell me

  1. JenkinsPro needs to be a channel where you recap tournaments, especially in Kentucky! 💪

  2. Of course you can. One hole doesn't define your game. If you would've played on, you would have had an eagle on your next hole.

  3. Looks good I definitely want to try it and see I feel like a grace off the tee for me would get closer to the 410 tree but definitely might have taken a 6 like you
