[Applause] welcome back to the channel guys today join at Huddersfield golf club with mid handicap golfer James where we’re going to be talking the Cali 01 T’s and concluding how good are the Cali o1 T’s well we’ve got the data we’ve been in the studio aren’t we y we’ve got the data comparing against the p770 Tade iron we’ve also compared it against your ping g410 iron and we’re going to get into this and talk about it and you know what they’ve been surprising yeah I can’t wait to share this right I’ll let you have the honor you’re going to go with your right yeah let’s go with M should we mix it up a little bit I’ll tell you what we’ll play best ball okay so we’ll te off with your iron and then you can hit another one with a cal and we’ll start to have a look at the numbers I think when you see the data you’ll see why James is ready to get rid of these ping g41 maybe not after that shot though that were rep PE it but you always get that once you start talking about new product your old one starts to hang on there like I don’t want to go oh uh do you want to grab another ball and we’ll yes you can whack one off with seven you going no you go so James is going to pick his best ball and I’m just going to hit one shot we have a little match I’ll give you one shot a hole sounds good to me you can pick the best shot lovely strike you won’t want any of them too B would you no they’re all was next to each other yeah you want that I’ll just use this one that’s what 36 H at weekend’s done here is it 36 holes I remember them days lovely shot one interested to see how much you know the differences in distance between us there 60 to back say 15 five it pin right stepped too much on that I should just got a seven iron G silly boy should have got seven got that big eight 142 to the middle and you’ve got nine iron missed it right one left one right I’ll tell you what drop another one have a go with c yeah would you pick the same Club then with a cal um I think from the shots we’ve just hit in the studio I’m going to say yes on this occasion yeah yeah where’s the nine that’s pxg there’s a c okay take two I wish I wouldn’t have said oh oh my oh my I wish I’d just zoomed in on that that’s stiff isn’t it could be good that one could be good so if you look where James has finished you’ve finished on first quarter of the green aren’t you yeah there’s no chance where you’re eying that would have stopped there that must have stopped within like 6 feet cuz it landed pretty much just at top of that hill and it’s barely it’s barely moved that’s what you want you want some stopping power in summer come around yeah we’re just saying see if that putting training is doing any good you want to finish it James go on then no pressure bit of meat on that I’m going to have a look guys gr fix are going to be watching sharp play the dart the dart [Laughter] oh wow oh even that 360 I bet you’ve not got a line on your ball have you um no no I needed it cuz you’ve got a five for four ain’t you so I’ve lost that one so in the studio we managed to find a recoil Dart shaft exactly same as what’s in the calet for the p77 head and we did a head-to-head comparison so I think it’s good to sort of compare him against you know obviously what we would describe as one of the top five manufacturers in the world yeah uh just to see how they compare do you want to just te off with that one we have got a light Steel shaer on the course because obviously we’ve just done a little bit of a fitting as well haven’t we yeah um what I would call a static fitting uh because you can’t get a dynamic fitting with c um so we’ve measured James’s wrist to floor his height and um you know hand size to give him some starting point which I think if you were to ring Cali and give them that information they could definitely help advise you on what specs toward if you want a custom fitted it’s going 7 770 I think this more Progressive a definitely suits you better doesn’t it yeah you’ve hit a fantastic shot there and I thought you had a fantastic shot with C off at last T you know he certainly strikes the ball well enough to not have any problems you know getting older it with a more midsize Club I like seeing that bit higher flight you know and like softer Landing it’s definitely um a nicer feeling when it’s flying higher yeah definitely I think we’re looking towards probably getting a light steel for James obviously the graphite is helping him get more spin highight but he’s a powerful lad and um he likes to feel a steel I said that I might let you just play with these for a week before we actually pull the trigger you know because you’re hitting them exceptional aren’t you that was too that lovely shape right game on nice shot so let’s start by looking at the Cali verse p770 head-to-head we’ll bring the g410 in during the conclusion we’ve got very similar ball speeds 118 120 C just winning we’ bit six shots with each Club here launch wise I would say Taylor Made launching a little bit better at 13 verse your C at 10 degrees but back spin both around about 6,000 which I like to see in a 7on I think at that kind of spin you’re going to be able to hold the greens um but dispersion I mean you’ve absolutely got that c a piece of string which is incredible really for now so uh what you will find quite interesting is when we bring the g410 dator in but I think based on the cion the p770 head we’re looking at the right head we’re getting a little bit better launch we’re getting obviously a little bit of better spin on the greens and far less back to front dispersion so they do compare I mean have you noticed anything difference in feel between the the Tade and the cal um no surprisingly and when you think about the price point that’s unbelievable yeah certainly I mean we’ve CH we chosing the Cali one here aren’t they the Tade one went left yeah were it were it better for distance or no just probably 10 yards shorter so you know for you they’re pretty much comparing yeah right is it you or me it’s you guys f is like a carpet it is is it it’s looking good oh that’s some nice Fizz on that stay there should take a nice little bounce right right that were crunched they do feel nice when you strike them don’t they definitely had that nice yeah a bit of Fizz oh dear that’s a bad swing oh she’s got a fortunate bounce do you want to drop one with a p7 yeah why not why not I Bean the guy are all about stupid mate they’re not going to they’re not Miracle clubs we are honest on this channel but uh can’t wait to show you the the data at the end great strike bit right again but that’s going to hold on I think yeah yeah I’ll take that take that 103 you’ve got yeah 103 down l [Music] I like K James it looks good mate it’s put out here I did it on last all I’m not competitive guys oh H James I think there could be another all in this I didn’t it either should I put mine out of the way go on them see I don’t know if I should give you them as a pro no cuz I won’t give it to me mate no you shouldn’t you shouldn’t do you want it in or out uh can I have it out please right then so I need this to this is to win the hole and win the match oh dear you said a three put I delivered for you so final look at the data James just brought the g410 data in and just to talk you through it you know it’s only launching at 8.4 de it’s that really low that’s really low and also your back spin is 53 which is like you know why are you struggling to hold the greens yeah so we did think of sort of like going down the route of graphite shafts a bit more of a higher you know spin higher launching club and in the Cal it’s actually seemed to work yeah we put the same shaft didn’t we in the in the uh p770 again it’s worked again it’s increased that launch it’s increased that backspin most importantly it’s helped your dispersion because when you’re catching like a m hit it’s it’s keeping it you know Direction better yeah when the spin’s too low when the launch is too low it can really you know affect your dispersion back to front and sideways as well so um yeah I think all in all it’s just concluded in the fact that you know going down the route or more midsize is going to be right for you uh and in terms of choos between Taylor Made and and CI the numbers are negotiable aren’t they you know there’s not enough in there I mean in fact C you could say creates better ball speed creates a little bit better distance you know there’s an argument said that t man’s launching a little bit better and spinning a fraction better but it’s just like it’s here and there but with me being on a budget yeah one clear winner well I think it’s nice to know that if you were to spend double the amount of money you’re not going to get double the amount of gains you know you’re not going to see a great deal of difference so at least you can commit to your ision right we’ve got final par three you’re not having your best ball you can commit to C from now and uh I think this is the final all is it yeah and then I think we’ll make a conclusion are you going to go down let’s go Cali this could be the the shot I think it’s all confirmed after that one I love them what a club I should have zoomed in a bit sooner then need to get me camera game a bit better again flush strike c a piece there is a shot what about I mean you don’t get another shot you don’t get to pick your best can’t actually believe how well you open playing while striking it come on Roll Out roll out it’s a good p a bit short you can’t atrick this a free free puts two put even I won’t wish a free put in you’re on here a bit of gamesmanship is it it’s not honestly I’m willing you to two put this I’m willing me to unput it oh oh he’s sunky manifest struck him well and I thought bloody hell I like these CLS myself nice so um what what’s it going to be are we going down that route are we going to commit I think so it’s time to commit to them I
