The PGA TOUR heads to Detroit this week for the Rocket Mortgage Classic at Detroit Golf Club. Rickie Fowler returns to defend his title after breaking his four-year win drought last year. The victory is his most recent top-15 finish anywhere, but he placed T12 here in 2020 and is also fresh off a T20 at the 2024 Travelers Championship last week at TPC Highlands. Fowler would be the first back-to-back winner in Rocket Mortgage’s history. Tom Kim will tee it up in Detroit after falling to Scottie Scheffler in a playoff at the Travelers Championship last week. The World No. 16 has claimed two top-five finishes in his last four events and finished T7 here two years ago. Cameron Young, who finished runner-up here in 2022, will also be in the field this week. He became the 12th player on the PGA TOUR to post a sub-60 score with 59 in Round 3 of the Travelers last week. A T9 finish on Sunday of Travelers was his sixth top-10 worldwide this year. Others to look for include Akshay Bhatia, Will Zalatoris, Min Woo Lee and Robert MacIntyre.

last week I mean come on Cam Davis with a three-wood from 256 not sure if that’s his three or his five would yeah always wore the bow tie would sit there at the NBA draft lottery as you said this is the flattest course on the tour yeah the screen’s like popped up like two or three three or 4 feet 5 feet or he just gets over it and sends it this one also hung right looks like it’s going to miss bounce very very good back at 16 Davis got a really good look off Ricky fowers and he learned aot loot these guys are catching fire now Cole ever since Johnson insulted me for not having any birdies in my group here they come H’s got a set up really well for him heading just down this right hand side oh yeah that’s the gozone right there 262 four iron Colt you’d have like 50 yard left if he hit four iron that math checks out all three three on the green well hold on now should settle in on that right side that’s going to be a big up and over putt for Cam Davis but three Eagle putts coming up the left trees to get it to here oh keep rolling and it does Cam Davis won the rocket morgage classic three years ago in the mix again today a birdie now we go to seven and Cam Davis on the T at the par five just a gorgeous golf swing challenging that bunker down the left that’s 300 to cover oh no problem Trev M just skirts it by and now two shots in a row his cadd calls out different yardages constantly going through the bag that’s a cool way to warm up it’s almost like playing around a golf comes up just short of the green up at the green here is the third for Davis Cam Davis has the much simpler shot that one took a peak that was pretty played off the up slope as we take you back to seven and Davis for the lead yes so the 2021 rocket morgage classic Champion goes up by [Music] one has the firep power to get there in two with a good one get it in the Fairway and that is a good one Bo he swings the club well right up the left Center should be good a great flight as well on yeah barely any curve at all I have a feeling we’ll be hearing more from him for years to come 17 couldn’t agree more Andrew here we go come on get oh just get comfortable don’t go until you are news is missing the hill wasted no time getting in there and playing that shot that is well done this is a huge putt to see if we will have a playoff Davis for par and a good recovery from Cameron
