so this drill is probably best done with like an eight iron or a seven iron and what you want to feel in this drill is really really soft arms so at first just get rid of all that tension that you’ve got and have nice soft arms when you’ve made your setup I want you to lift the club vertically so it’s facing upwards as you can see here the butt of the grip is facing on the ball from here you just want to push the club straight up to the sky no tilt on this just making sure that it’s going straight up from where you were now you’ve got that position locked all you’re going to do is turn your shoulders into a full back swing as you can see here I’m just moving my body the club is staying exactly where it is and I’m just moving the my body so the club is now perfectly on plane on my top of my back swing you want to focus that you’re not rushing from there you’re not going to get there and think oh my God this is completely new I have no idea I’ve got here and just rush your down swing from here you can take as much time as you
