this video is brought to you by rap sto so rap sto reached out to me sent me some of their products the MLM launch monitor the mobile launch monitor and mlm2 pro they asked me to do a review on the two of them and just kind of do a breakdown comparison on the two they also sent me a box of chrom soft golf balls with the mark the black markings on them so if you use these in like a simulator it will uh you know test your spin rate and things like that when you’re losing the MLM 2 Pro you do get however if you don’t buy a full box of chrom soft golf balls within the mlm2 packaging you do get a a one sleeve of a chrome soft golf balls with the black markers on it and they do provide you with a free sleeve of balls I was fortunate enough they sent me a full box of balls so nice of them thank you rap SoDo all in all let’s talk about let’s unbox this one real quick so let’s talk about what you get from the MLM mobile launch monitor from rap SoDo this is going to be a quick unboxing video the MLM it’s basically all that comes in the Box it’s just nice little pouch packaging right here so you open this up and it comes with your launch monitor which is just like a stand you can set your cell phone or your iPad on there and this will act as like your mobile camera to get you know your ball flight and things like that it also is going to record your swings and store all that data within the app so you have to download the app in order to use it so if you’re if you’re someone that is you know somewhat new to golf and you are you know just you know really getting into it you want to know your distes and things like that and you don’t want to go to a simulator and hack away a balls you can use this on the driving range take this with you the only downside about this setup is that you have to use your phone with the setup in order to make this thing function so you don’t have your phone with you while you’re swinging so this is going to be approximately 6 to 8 ft behind you I think that’s what they recommend in order to get some accurate readings but like I said you would have to physically go back to your phone and look and see what your distances are they do have a feature on here where it has an audio signal where it reads you out whatever you want to hear so after you hit a shot and it can read you out your distance your carry distance your your spin rate your tag angle whatever I think whatever three things that you kind of wanted to say it might even be more than that but you do have that option so if you have some headphones in you’re at the range you can listen back to your headphones and it can read you some of your data that you are using or that you are hitting on a driving range I’ve already test this unit out I find it to be fairly accurate it did I mean setting it up is super simple but it did miss a lot of shots setting it up the first time and but once it got going once I started reading my shots everything was like pretty accurate pretty um uh uh reliable in a sense so but but again the only downside is you have to physically put your phone on this thing download the app to have it read out your distances and your numbers so if you’re like I said somebody that is new to golf and that just wants to get some accurate readings out there on the driving range just to kind of know where how you’re far you’re hitting the ball and things like that coming in at 300 bucks you cannot beat the value of this product right here but for the wrap SoDo mlm2 Pro again you get the Chrome soft golf balls or sleeve CH gol golf balls if you want to use that for like a simulator in home simulator a net things like that perfect for that especially if you’re really trying to get some accurate spin rates highly recommend using those balls but if you just want to go out to the range again here’s what comes inside of the package that is your mlm2 pro and pretty basic setup for the most part um again this one just came in today so I haven’t tested this one out yet but we’re going to be going out on the range at some point within the next day or two testing this bad boy out getting some readings and just seeing the differences between the two um and give you my recommendations on if you can save some money on this one and do something like the like a mobile launch monitor and you know save a lot of money just get some basic yardages or upgrade and take this out on the range with you taking on the course with you and or use this in a Similator setup and get some fairly you know accurate simulator type situations um I think you get a little bit more data with this one I’m not 100% sure again I’m go ahead and test this out go through and put it through its paces and things like that and see what I find but from my um recollection and from what I know is that you’re going to get you know some more detailed your um information out of the mlm2 pro rather than and then the mobile launch monitor so if you’re again if you’re someone out there that’s looking to set up like a home simulator or something like that definitely right off the bat this is going to be something that you’re going to want to look into but if you’re just like I said someone that’s out there just trying to get some basic yardages not spend a ton of money the mobile launch monitor might be the right choice for you but again this was just a quick unboxing um again everything else that’s in the past you get your information and you get a USBC charging cable to charge that thing up so pretty basic pretty simple but but yeah that’s pretty much it for this video we’re going to go out in the range and test this out and I’m going to come back in a later video and just tell you guys what I find and give you guys my recommendations on what you guys should be doing and um all that good stuff so if you do have questions about anything like the mobile launch monitor or the mlm2 pro shoot them to me in the comment section below and I’ll
