so now what’s the thinking in Brooklyn now that they have all these picks 16 first round picks now in Brooklyn through 20131 they did another deal tonight with the uh Houston Rockets I’m told they got back their own picks from the James Harden trade and they sent the Rockets uh two of the picks they have from the Phoenix Suns and now the Nets are in position uh look at the 2025 draft which is loaded there is real star power in next year’s draft the Nets have four first round picks potentially in that draft and you know take a look at what their roster may look like you know they may be very well competing you know to be uh at the very top of that Lottery and so I think when the Nets really didn’t see in the marketplace a chance to bring back a star player right now uh who they could paired Mel Bridges uh it became a situation where they looked to see what was available out there they knew Bridges uh the idea of playing with the Knicks appealed to him the Knicks know even with a couple years left on his deal you know they’ll have every opportunity to be able to keep Bridges long term but the Nets you know you go back to the Kevin Durant trade the Kyrie Irving trade you know they brought back nine first round picks from those deals uh pick swaps and they may still bring in more assets before the draft is over tomorrow night the N the Nets are really in tremendous position now to rebuild this organization you saw Shawn marks do it once uh when he first took over with the Nets with far less draft assets and now Joe syy their owner will look to him you know to do this again they kind of were one foot in one foot out with Bridges but the Nets have a clear Direction now and and they are loaded going forward with draft assets one more thing we saw you post W about the situation with the rockets and their interest in Kevin Durant can you clarify some of that for us yeah listen now that the Rockets have the Suns first round picks if there comes a time when Phoenix you know can’t go doesn’t go forward with this group if this group has to disassemble at some point Houston’s a team now whether it’s Kevin Durant but I think even more so a younger uh Devin Booker who who I think timeline fits with this uh Houston team you know the Rockets are in position now if they want to pursue players on that Suns team but right now Phoenix they want to run this team back this season you know they’re determined to win with this group uh but certainly for Houston now you know it just gives them uh an Arsenal in the future if something does change in Phoenix all right but the big news Mel Bridges heading across the bridge from the Nets to the Knicks if it’s happening in the NBA Adrien wowski is on it w you always appreciate it thank you Stan [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause]

  1. That would be good. But at this point, he’s just a mercenary. He’s a hired gun that’s all.

  2. Suns already said no trade and even the GM James jones came out and said I’m not trading any of the 3. ESPN still got to be ESPN tho lol

  3. As a Rockets fan, I would be so mad if they traded for a 36 year old Durant. That would be fine if you think he's the piece that gets you a championship, but the Rockets aren't there yet. Giving up substantial assets for a player at his age just doesn't make sense. Booker, on the other hand, makes some sense. He has enough years left in the tank.

  4. As a rockets and sun's fan but more with houston I would love this trade I'm a big fan of kd top 5 in my eyes

  5. Lol. What woj is saying anout the rockets is completely false. The Suns are NOT trading Durant or Devin Booker. What is woj is teporting is inaccurate.

  6. KD should go to the lakers back to okc or back to the warriors. Houston would be an ite fit too but if I'm him ima try to pair myself up wit superstars like bron n ad ‼️

  7. Wasting a season for high lottery odds is pointless. Look at Portland and Detroit this year

  8. You what Mat Isbia is just dumb enough to do the deal lol he's in full 2k mygm mode at this point. I kinda feel bad for James Jones 😂

  9. KD back to OKC for a chip would be incredible. Would love to see SGA and OKC get a chip.

  10. He should go to the rockets and then yeah get harden and Westbrook in Houston and wow omg could they win a ring with a reunion? No

  11. We dont want KD in Houston, we didnt want Hardin back either. Houston has a young team with a good coach, KD would be toxic.

  12. Jalen green 9.8
    Adam’s 12
    Bullock 2
    Eason 3
    Sheppard 6?
    33 million… Kd cost 48 million

Still need 15 million don’t Houston have 26 cap can they eat that?
Or add Jeff green 10 million. Suns roster stinks all these guys an upgrade

    Plus 2 2st 1 swap

Both teams get better Houston still has a quality 8-9 deep
