The PGA TOUR heads to Detroit this week for the Rocket Mortgage Classic at Detroit Golf Club. Rickie Fowler returns to defend his title after breaking his four-year win drought last year. The victory is his most recent top-15 finish anywhere, but he placed T12 here in 2020 and is also fresh off a T20 at the 2024 Travelers Championship last week at TPC Highlands. Fowler would be the first back-to-back winner in Rocket Mortgage’s history. Tom Kim will tee it up in Detroit after falling to Scottie Scheffler in a playoff at the Travelers Championship last week. The World No. 16 has claimed two top-five finishes in his last four events and finished T7 here two years ago. Cameron Young, who finished runner-up here in 2022, will also be in the field this week. He became the 12th player on the PGA TOUR to post a sub-60 score with 59 in Round 3 of the Travelers last week. A T9 finish on Sunday of Travelers was his sixth top-10 worldwide this year. Others to look for include Akshay Bhatia, Will Zalatoris, Min Woo Lee and Robert MacIntyre.

right beautiful show he’s already hit couple L Stern de Luke Clanton already 200 under through four on his round keep turning little more oh clant bures on 1 three and five best round going Damon at 10 under oh look at the spin pulls it down towards the front of the green he was able to make birdie here on Friday and he looks set up beautifully once again Cam Davis terrific start beautiful drive just 80 yards and you can really compress that a 10- foot try in the Aussie that would look like just for a brief moment it might lose its line looking to open with birdie to 11 under that’s how you get the job done a six-footer in the cup meanwhile a short time ago in the first Fairway is Cameron young just two shots off the lead nice angle into that right hole location greens very receptive after the rain and a kick in birdie for young just inside 23 ft up the hill for Sam Stevens should move a little bit from his left to right when it gets to the hole Yeah Stevens from downtown to 10 under what a great putt line rolled beautifully Mikey read it right right at the end getting set to hit his second and Dy peppers with this group hello Daddy thank you Andrew hello one step inside 100 yard for Aaron gap wedge controlling spin will be really important today with these surfaces so soft and that’s exactly what he did there going with a little extra Club to try and keep some of the down the grip he’s gone there he just trying to feed this 93 yd some spin pretty good shot there the wind is just whipping across Lake Andrew there 14 under he’s got the extended left finger on the top hand back to 15 you know I played with Monty one time he kept his tees in his back pocket that was the only play I ever saw do that he’s Scottish great shot from Davis where’d he have his yardage for huh that’s interesting now M gave the chef a couple of tips up there in the hospitality and what a beautiful shot to 17 all right mwo tap it in for the birdie he and Jason day will be repr presing a St at the Olympics Hannah green and his sister M Le olymp he Cam and well played by Cam Davis a birdie at the par [Applause] three Stevens quick to play sure is out of that left greens side bunker da you caught it this is a great play the do it Mikey likey I like you a lot da 14 under go Stevens so we go to 16 after a long drive cam young just 331 yards no big deal this too all over it Frank is it ever well when we’re in Phoenix have n just keep an eye on that bottom hand we’ve seen so many cross-handed putting Strokes today I know he made that one but Tri he seems to put a little bit more pressure on the bottom thumb there is it and Sam Stevens has had a nice day a 329 yd Drive left with 125 here at 18 and five birdies no Bogies can he control the spin very nice well well done what a round for Sam Stevens two top 10 on the season three birdies no Bogies on the card today for a bogey free for the week make that far birdies but to 17 under one to go a one shot lead and you must really enjoy watching the young Lefty with young Jacob your son a lefty he plays Lefty yeah yeah it’s good to watch get some good tips hold line great another go birdie so he matches but here heads to the last 17 under okay Dy just off the green with wedge going after it that will be a little work left with some movement too make here or a Miss by baa [Music] good but sure was still without a Boi this week o batia tied for the lead and he’ll be in the final pairing tomorrow with Aaron Ry there’s a look at the leaderboard with three rounds in the books and it’s anyone’s game heading to tomorrow we’ve seen some crazy finishes here in the short history of the rocket mortgage classic including a five hole playoff in 2021 we’ll see what tomorrow brings the one thing we do know we have great
