all right everybody how’s it going we have a special video today I’m pretty excited about it today I’m out here at the Surf City disc golf course because I’m on vacation right now in North Carolina um there’s a little nine-hole course out here it’s been around since 2017 and it’s a lot of fun so I decided to come out here and film uh because why not we have a convenient disc golf course 10 minutes away from Top soell Beach where I’ve been vacationing so hey didn’t want to miss a video for for everybody who enjoys watching them so we’re out here today and um we’re going to play nine holes but there’s a little bit of a twist my wife is currently holding the camera but she’s not going to be just holding the camera today she is going to be throwing all of my putts inside of circle two so as soon as I get inside of circle two on every hole Kenzie is going to be throwing my putts and we’re going to see how low I can score and frankly um might be just as low or even lower than I would normally score because I she she puts pretty competently not to set her up for failure but um I’m expecting like 93 % c1x putting today um but here we are we’re going to get right into it we got whole one here this course really it’s not super easy nine-hole track um it’s a cool course design I think I believe this land is like an old Peanut Farm at one point there’s like these peanut silos great time um whole one’s 442 ft it plays like open and fair but it is um yeah it’s kind of a launch out there so the goal is to not throw it into the woods the woods are really bad uh yeah a putt here for birdie would be awesome all right we’re going to go Raider here off the first te like I said you kind of just have to go for it hopefully I don’t lose this disc also two pads I will say are a very slick rubber I’m a little nervous about that hope it opens up left more than I think it does because that was early and high I got a little tentative on the teapad um this hole is a lot straighter than I remembered it doesn’t really open up to the left I’m in a way to the woods we did just see a snake right on the edge of the wood line back there so poly expecting to get bit but I’m going to have to scramble out I’ve still got to like I don’t know 120 150 ft to the hole I’m just going to try to get out of the open there was nothing productive to be done there other than pitch out I’ll try to get try to get you nice and close here for your first putt for bogey that wasn’t good at all okay I pulled it wide and long so that’ll be about 30t for bogy all right didn’t really set us up for a great putting debut i’ be I’d be pretty thoroughly impressed to save here scar no you’d be fine oh oh that was not a bad effort though double boogey on one can’t say that was your fault did my best all right not our best start there on whole one in fact a terrible start uh this course is challenging we got a par three again here I think it’s all par 3es maybe there’s one par four at the end uh well there actually is a couple 273 fet you got one tree in the middle here and then it’s actually like an elevated kind of hanging basket in a spider tree situation um and there’s also a low hanging Branch this is a tough shot I have to basically throw something like flat and low to the left of the tree and try and push forward a bunch it’s tight Gap it’s tight probably going to go with something stable probably a fairway probably go with the torque here and just try to rip it over on anheiser and let it flatten out this is tough dang it right into the I’m not trusting these teads I won’t say that was the complete reason for that to be fair I I threw the line I wanted just pulled it but we’re scrambling again all right we’re scrambling again not very far off the teapad but hey we’re centered in the Gap now we’re going to try and throw the trust and get up there just got to get par oh that’s sneaky okay it might be a long putt I pulled it over a little bit I’m kind of glad I didn’t at least hit the first tree again all right this would be an impressive make I’m not really setting her up for Success right now get in there oh brutal spit out that a good putt too thought that was going to catch yeah thought too that’s all right I should be giving you those looks for birdie not for for par or bogey or worse don’t miss this though there we go look at that even some convenient little steps on either side how nice another bogey all right I forgot how hard this course is um this is another tough hole it’s a flex forehand par 4 it is a shorter par 4 it’s only 370 but it’s like a tough t- shot it’s a tight Flex forand I’m not going to get bailed out on these t- shots I got to throw good ones um um feel like I’m right back at breake 57 right now I’ve got pd2 just going to try and knife it through the Gap if you can get out the get out the Gap I think it’s pretty easy uh that vine scared me I think it’s a pretty easy birdie so we have pavers though on this tead I hope we have more of those cuz I kind of need it oh I love it oh what the heck is that what I run into sounded like a tree I guess I didn’t cut it over enough I I think that might be okay well it turns out there was a tree in the middle of the Fairway kind of not exactly in the middle but in the Fairway I did not realize so I I kicked off of that I’m now pinched so I have to get like through this gap of trees if you’re in the middle it’s pretty easy you want to try and play the forehand roller this is going to be pretty this could be pretty embarrassing especially on pine straw keep an eye on it for me nope I stood it up okay thank goodness to hit that tree once again I’m making it very difficult on myself we got to get up and down from Far here gosh dang that looks okay is that okay I think so oh okay okay we have a a pretty good par lug now is your time now is when we really need you here oh no that was not the time for that wow go tap out our shameful bogey we finally got close to the basket you felt the pressure h four over through three we’re killing it okay whole four now uh par three it’s straight away there’s out there it’s like a little indent in the woods you kind of want to either short of it or like on the basket because if you’re left or right or long it gets a little messy says it’s 295 doesn’t look 295 I’m going to go putter cuz I mean that looks to be it looks like it’s like 240 so we’ll see what happens maybe I’ll just be way short I’m going to go with the magic here look that was a good shot it okay see I’m glad it hit the tree like I probably threw a 240 shot and I was about to go like 30 long in the basket had I not kicked down I think we’re pretty close for birdie finally all right we’re nice and close tap this one in for us get us on birdie let’s see if we I mean we just got to scrap back to even part at this point spider web if we can get back to even par and scrap back that’d be great and I wasn’t doing us any favors on those first few holes please please make this there we go go all right first birdie took four holes we’re on the board all right hole five here one of the signature holes cuz we got the famous silos I’m declaring them famous um hey they’re on the internet now I don’t know if this course has been filmed much this is a 532 ft par for pretty legit you got to start with a huge Hiser around three I think they were formerly peanut silos and then you throw down a tunnel at the end it’s a very tough hole so Kenzie’s going to film me from the corner so she can spot because easy to lose a disc here oh no all right so shot did land and play right on the edge here which is good um it is a little pinch but there’s a way to get to the basket basically it just finishes down this hallway could you see the silos on the first shot yeah finishes down this hallway it’s going to be kind of a low Flex now or actually yeah I’m going to have to flex it I don’t know if I can get to the basket here it’s going to be really tough this is a very difficult shot go the glory here o it’s perfect that’s on the basket sit okay that’s that was amazing I think we’re like I think we’re pretty close for birdie sweet okay I skipped a little past the basket but we got about 25t what I don’t know probably not you can flip the disc if you need a little more room okay this should be a great birdie it’s not the easiest putt either little stratler I believe in you right you can do it get in there oh nice grab my disc you got to get into the Habit first time playing disc offl just cuz you made the birdie put you haven’t accomplished anything yet so you grabbed the other disc all right two two birdies in a row that was a tough one you can see all the way back there was that Gap we were throwing from so we’re on we’re on the board here we’re on a hole six now it’s 350 ft Par 3 kind of a classic Carolina Woods golf hole here okay got the pine straw is that what you would call it yeah yeah pine straw line in the Fairway the tall trees on either side and so pretty I think there are some trees in the middle down towards the end you got to beat but I think I’m just going to throw a hard mid-range turn over here it looks like Twilight doesn’t it oh totally totally Twilight going to go with the trust oh I yanked it oh it got lucky oh Ki okay quite a roller coaster there yanked it over missed the first tree kicked to the middle of Fairway though I’m glad I didn’t go in the swamp cuz there is a warning of alligators out here yeah and we already saw a snake so they were true they were true on half of that so far we’re not trying to get the other half in the sunlight all right long up and down here magic is that oh my gosh magic oh my gosh no magic he’s a vampire magic wow it’s pretty good it is good all right far putt up there we got to make this part I mean we we’re running out of holes here and um we need to get back to even par so time to make moves all right we have a bit of a tricky lie here we’re trying to assess I went a little bit long and left so we’re about little under 30 feet from the basket we kind of need this put it’s gonna be tough if we bogey this one we’re gonna have to birdie out and I know the last toll for sure is a difficult one have my foot behind it yeah you sure do that would be a rule and regulation you can do it just slide that foot in there behind the disc you can be a little behind it but it’s got to get in the general vicinity there you go you’re a Hiser putter anyway so this just plays perfectly to your game this would be an insane make feel like I’m about to fall theit that is the that’s perfect this would be a miracle oh my gosh oh good bit oh wow roll away good bid though you’re on Pace I would say your your putting accuracy is better holy cow that rattle anything just anything all right tap out our bogey it’s we got a Bo we got a birdie out now too should I use this it is also a putter boom all right okay time to put our heads down we got a birdie 789 I got to give the co designer some credit here because I’ll say that with the with a little land they have here they’ve got a really interesting course like you’re you’re never playing anything super straightforward this is another par 4 it’s 360 ft but it’s a dead right angle and you’re dealing with pretty skinny hallways and a pretty small Landing zone so I’m trying to chip uh to the edge of the corner and then go directly right and if you land in the perfect spot once again not super hard to get up and down but like all these par fours it’s tight so I’m going to go with the Zone OS and try and knife it and then get it to sit on the corner push push push push push push push okay I didn’t play make it around the corner but I’m hoping I’m just far enough cuz I’m in the middle I’m hoping I’m far enough to reach out around it we’ll see kind of a bummer here I for this hole is actually almost a little more than a 90° turn like you really have to get to the deepest part of the corner and it’s still a ways back there but we have to make birdie to make even par so I’m just going to try and rip another cut roller sure it’s not going to go well keep turning keep turning keep turning okay you know what okay it might not be like a really great look but that was a pretty good shot at least we’re not going to make bogey from there hopefully all right right I think we’re just outside of circle 2 here but we’re going to bend the rules because I feel like we really need a boost here so I’m going to need you to throw this in this is your moment do like a stand this is the time where you would like yeah there you go and probably like a little like you’re throwing like a little chip Heiser because you probably want to go around the ripe trees not through that middle Gap okay I’m no I believe in you heer that thing nose up into the sky oh my gosh that was a that was a good effort no that was like that was the right idea just didn’t go throw it hard enough but that was a good effort finish the job let’s make our part at least keep our head held high keep our dignity that is not dignity lost it’s unfortunately it just just runs in the family missing missing putts to the right side of the basket it’s a tail as old as time another bogey what just fell out of that tree freaking pine cone almost attacked by a pine cone it’s not even our fault two more holes here hole eight it’s a little Chip Shot 208 ft you can see there’s a tree out there that has like a white marking on it it’s about I don’t know give or take 50 ft left of that so I’m just throwing a Zone OS trying to basically aim at that tree and then fall left maybe we’ll get an ace that’d be exciting maybe I won’t hit the Gap maybe I’ll hit that tree right there that’s perfect hit a basket must just been a little bit deep I think I think I thought the line was pretty good there I was really begging that one to go in should I try another one why not that one’s too straight as well oh you got to throw it like really short oh that’s the one hit it how is that still long I’m running out of this Charle Charle I must not know where the basket is I just ran up and looked at it back off J all right turns out basket was a little more left than I was giving it credit for even though I ran up and looked at it so that’s on me but we got another another tester here make it happen make a birdie here this is your moment my said that a lot today just trying to force greatness you left it short what the heck I never do that the though oh that’s good Improvement oh that’s a stroke woo made it to the final hole let’s try to go out uh on high note here there’s patio furniture by the last T box I just had to mention that because that’s hilarious I don’t know why I think Mr and Mrs alligator must hang out here watch them golf but this is a par 4 it’s only 425 but it’s kind of a doozy there’s actually we just crossed a little bridge to get here and there’s another Bridge down the Fairway so I think I’m just trying to chip it around this first grouping of trees and then see what happens cuz I don’t want to I don’t want to have to go into the icky stuff you know all right we’re going to go Toro little Heiser basically the same exact shot I just threw oh my gosh hit something oh it did hit something good tree I sawed that off but it kicked me into the middle we’re good what makes this ho tough is cuz like this ended up in a pretty good spot for where you would throw this layup shot and now I’ve still got this place further than 425 I’m telling you cuz I mean that was probably 200 off the te maybe and I think I still have 300 plus I’m just going to yam on this mid-range try to get up there it’s a tight Gap though please disc please oh yeah imagine if that went in oh I think I kicked down at the end but that was perfect I peered the line so that was not bad at all decent approach here kicked at the end but probably about 30 ft get in there just attack it this could be your last partt of the day it’s a real trick shot let me frame it up this would be pretty impressive considering her yeah probably your only chance there’s no way this goes in this would be insane oh wow I’m I’m impressed to your commitment to still rip it right to the basket that’s that’s how we do it around here that out of bounds yep no I’m just kidding it’s not out of bounds it’s just a fun little thing that would be pretty ruthless if it was though three putt to end the day all right skill-wise did not do the best um but we had a lot of fun shout out to Surf City disc golf for putting in a course here right close to my vacation spot uh I come here every year so I do enjoy playing that um man let us know in the comments if you want to see any more challenges with the wife uh putting stroke was decent uh probably about adequate to what mine normally is I I feel like I did okay for not throwing a disc on a dis off course in a long time it’s been
