stop wearing your everyday glasses while playing golf golf specific eyewear can make your game better can make your life better can make you see better and who doesn’t want that hey everybody my name is sunglass Rob from sport RX and today we’re going to talk about our top picks for golf specific eyewear and actually what is golf specific eyewear and what are you trying to avoid so a lot of times I see people wearing dark glasses lenses that are too dark that are going to not really help read the greens or track the ball frames that are heavy frames that are more fashion forward that don’t really stay on your face when you’re being active when you’re sweating so in golf eyeware you want to find something that’s going to be more lightweight that’s going to be made more of a sport material that ideally has some grip on the temples on the nose and has a lens color that’s going to help read the greens and give you contrast and not let you lose track of that ball in Flight all right so these are our top seven choices for golf first on the list is one I’m proud of this is the sport RX Olsen this is from our own in house line so we design these for sports and also prescription use here in house this is an open on the bottom style pair of glasses which a lot of golfers like so there’s less frame in the way when you’re teeing up uh these have fully adjustable nose pads and fully adjustable temples they fit really well with a hat they’re made out of an eco-friendly material they have interchangeable lenses they’re just pretty rad so this is the olssen it also comes in a smaller size that’s the Olsen s next on the list is the Rudy Project serus so these are new from Rudy Project they’re really light they’re really comfortable if you know Rudy Project you probably know that the Ryon model has been around for a long time and is super popular and we Love Actually that’s a great pair for golf as well but this one’s new and lightweight it’s got a fully adjustable nose pad the temples are also rubberized so they don’t slip when you sweat interchangeable lenses they’re also an eco-friendly material and they’re also very compatible with Hats so this is a another great pair here I’ll try them on for you even though they’re a little small for me this is about a medium to large fit and I have a pretty big head all right we got another new one on the table this is the Oakley byph it’s trying to give that Oakley Flak 2.0 XL a run for its money that historically has been one of our bestselling golf glasses but this is new and cool I think it’s a little bit more stylish has a really nice flat slim Temple so it’s very hat compatible something that’s rad with these which is prism lenses in prescription or nonprescription they make two golf specific lenses at Oakley there’s prism dark Golf and regular prism golf the regular prism golf gives you intense contrast and the dark golf is kind of more of a traditional sunglass feeling lens which still gives great contrast so both have been very popular the one thing I don’t love about these glasses and I think it’s because I have a big nose is the nose pads are a little hard so for a big nose maybe consider that Flack 2.0 still another prism option another Oakley option is the actuator and this is getting towards a trend in style where people aren’t loving full wraparound glasses as much so kind of the cool kids want something that’s more everyday Street looking but this Frame still has a lot of technical features which make it really good they use Oakley’s three-point fit system which means they kind of go straight back so they still work well with Hats they have a really good grip on the nose this is actually like a saddle Bridge nose area which I really really like I think this one makes a really good compromise of fashion and function so they’re very comfortable uh but they still look really cool and of course like I said prism golf another one on the table that’s a really good combination of fashion and function is the electric Knoxville sport the Knoxville has been one of the best sellers for electric ever and they decided to create a sport version of it by really adding some rubberized nose pads and temples so you’re getting a really cool everyday kind of Lifestyle paag glasses that you could wear off the golf course but because of that extra Rubber and grip they stay in place really well and they’re really comfortable another cool feature these have is the little hole there for the retainer to clip into they don’t come with the retainer but there’s a lot of retainers now that clip into something like that fashion wise a lot of people like I said are going towards something like this all right another sport RX frame on the table this is the sport RX Cadence this is more of a feminine version of that UL it’s about a medium fit has adjustable temples adjustable nose pad a little more of a cat eye shape a nice deep lens so when you are looking for the ball it doesn’t obstruct your way at all eco-friendly material fits great with a hat open on the bottom interchangeable Design This is a great great frame for smaller faces for females and then the last one on the table is one of the most popular golf glasses of all time is the Maui Jim ho oipa XL so the Kea is the main one that’s been around forever and now they make the XL which I’m super stoked about because I have a big head and this is a nice large to extra large fit and you know this holoka Maui gy has kind of been synonymous with call for many many many years very comfortable very lightweight comes in different lens colors I really like the LT lens or the rose lens for golf it’s pretty amazing that was some really cool golf glasses everybody what did you think which one’s your favorite do you have any put it down in the comments comment section let us know if you have any questions if you need any help if you’re not sure if you should get your Progressive 1. Suddenly the Flak 2.0 XL is not in the list just to promote the BiSphaera. Also, why in the world in all Your videos from 2021 till the a video in March 2023 about the Prizm 24K lenses on the Flak 2.0 XL but in reality now I can't find it on Oackley official website or other authorized parterners like You SportRx. I am from the UK and so sad that You don't ship to us because for me You are the best Rx experts to deal with.
