3D printed PETG. EMT condut connection

Playing around with 3d printed 1 inch EMT connectors for a sim enclosure. First quick 5 min design is up. It feels extremely durable and robust so far. Going to add the elbo and keep updating as i make them more robust.

For indoors would be good but that will snap outside when there is a thunderstorm.

Very cool project. I sourced my metal connectors from tarps.com but their shipping was super expensive.

I can save you some time. I work for one of the major indoor sim retailers, and we tried this a few times for our enclosures. We didn’t get a single one assembled without a connector breaking. We were using pushing and not emt so that might be the trick.

  4. Looks nice. I like the look of the gspro button selector you designed

Try printing with TPU at a higher infill. I use a lot of PETG for structural integrity but for a corner join that needs to have some amount of flex as well as rigidity, TPU would work nicely.
