I’ve been following this sub for awhile and always thought it would be cool to build one. I built a hitting platform few months back for a 4×5 hitting mat. I usually hit balls from my yard to the lower property where I put a cone to aim at. The kids were tearing up the yard so I built the platform. Well I seen a cheap short throw projector on eBay today and decided to pull the trigger. I’ll probably go with the MLM2 and do an emt 10x10x10 enclosure. Here is the hitting mat and projector I got so far.

Nice start. What kind of mat did you put on the platform?
Looks great. How far is your cone, just to get some perspective? Seems like a big natural hill as a backstop would be idea for a driving range.
The cone is about 75 yards away. It’s perfect for 9/pw. Then there is a huge orchard behind it and across the road that I’ll usually hit a driver into. There is a golf course near by if I ever lose too many balls lol
