yeah boys new car I don’t know when Volkswagen got this [Music] fancy new car day a little unexpected but we’re headed to the auction yard to pick it up Parker’s going to go with me what’s up what’s up going to go pick up my new car you got it yeah nice yeah you need a trailer no I was just going to drive it home oh pick up info registration already ready to rock we get out of here have fun thanks what are you munching on some drill mix oh it’s gas dude this John like RS blue or what it’s like a brighter version of the Audi I can’t get away from these blue cars speak have blue cars so some context as to why we’re going this route I like the Vol Volkswagen Audi crew all the community the people it’s chill modifying simple it’s fun non problematic cars are good for the summer here in Arizona cuz it’s like 120° other thing I don’t know how to say it but why after all these nicer cars I like the hot hatches I just miss it and I think about the GTI a lot and that’s probably the single-handed car that I thought I would care could care less about that I literally think about the most often why they’re good I guess I I just don’t want to they look like an egg I mean why would I want that car do I call her my fiance do I call her my other half the better get used to it my fiance literally her least favorite looking car was the GTI but here we are hopefully she likes the mar8 a little bit better and it should be fun so I know that a lot of these models oh shoot the Gap oh that baring sounds terrible up there a lot of these Mar 8s you can’t or if not all of them I was Lally barely researching last night this happened so fast you can’t tune the transmission yet so that’s kind of sus hopefully we can figure that out it says some 2022 models you can I have no way of finding out cuz it’s happened so fast it’s not the end of the world if we can’t teain the transmission but definitely would be ideal and if we can that makes this car even more sought after because this will my truck Rodney the Silverado and I have with me I just had the AC hold on this thing is overheated I want to show you why I have Rodney Rodney’s AC is the most unbelievable AC in the game 2004 Silverado I have my temperature gun I’m going to show you how cold this air is here in a second when I cool down this thing all right we got 112 reading on the mirror let me scan outside can you see that 104 okay huh Sho 4 39° does it get any colder than that I don’t know and that’s thanks to Brandon who was in the S4 series he helped me out we figured out that my fans blew a fuse and my Freon was a little bit low so we fixed those two now my AC’s dialed so shout out to Brandon we’re 2 minutes out to the auction yard where the car is there’s a little mini map I’ve never done this before partnering up with Jeremiah at jumbo Motorsports and Tucson making getting cars of Breeze sourcing don’t have to deal with buying and selling just can go all in on content this is great but there’s a little mini map and we’re going to see what this process looks like and I have a barcode that lets me take the vehicle and apparently the keys are in it so it’s kind of like just going to pick up a rental car that’s not a rental car feel like we’re stealing it yeah this feels like exactly like this seems like we’re going to like steal it so Manheim Phoenix wholesale auction dealers yeah look all these cars rolling in I don’t even know yeah so you get your gate pass printed there’s a lot office you go there uh there will be some lady will give gate pass she will give keys and it has barcode just can with your cam and it will give you location of your car got it thank you no problem got to paperwork looking looking for the office give this paperwork too got the registration for the car I mean this looks like promising if there’s stuff like this oh yeah all these yeah look at how many Lightnings are bro is there like the endless 100 Lightnings are those all Au these are all from the auction so does that mean people are trading them in or something I don’t know yeah uh so if you come in here on the left there there’s this lady that to help you get the keys for those okay and then for the whip let’s get some gas first fill up needs a good clean this is a REO oh really yeah just needs tires there’s really anything wrong with it and cleaned First Impressions the gauges are rad the buttons right here they’re all Hightech screen super cool but man we got the most wicked out of balance wheel or it’s bent at this speed key high quality and like heavy and this thing pretty sick it’s a good looking [Music] car welcoming the golf into the garage first thing we need to do is it’s 600 M overdue on the oil change I ran to the dealership before they closed to get the0 w30 VW spec oil and then I have a OEM filter filter seal keep the Box put the dirty one in to get the oil out I’m using an extractor which you can on this car which is great this is 6.5 l so this should get it all and then we’ll put 6 L back into it hold the diff stick out lay it on a rag drop it in the engine bay don’t do that slide this in the dipstick spot you start pumping and then you just start pulling oil out you build a certain amount of pressure and then you just kind of let sit for a bit and then you’ll see it start to flow out so you just hang out for a bit while it sucks all the oil out in the meantime I’m going to grab a 32 mm socket for our filter right there let all that oil run out of there before I lift it all the way off okay I’m going to set this here got my rag handy there’s a very special tool I use all the time if you know me right here oil rings seal removal tool it’s like a little spoon this is definitely not Factory I even know what brand this [Music] is this line is starting to shake it’s starting to pull air in man what an easy oil [Music] change take my Rag and this has a little slide I like to slide it in here pop the oil cap man what’s up these days they just put freaking water in these engines am I right the Subarus is dang near maple syrup this could be dangerous yeah that would be a mess but set one over there [Music] drink up that should be good my rag on top of the engine next door Boop my cap on clipped in this is tight this is tight dip sticks in we’re done little bit of a mess to clean up but nothing like a normal oil change but full for the toolbox which we can cover let’s open this up since it’s not an aerosol can you use a air compressor to pressurize the can so if you have an air compressor around you can get one of these makes life pretty simple this was a thoughtful gift and he actually baited me because he saw a uh video on Tik Tok he’s like hey these are pretty cool do you have one of these I was like no I want one though and then like 6 hours later it was at my house on my back door I was like dude you dog see here so this is like a valve stem like a tire then you unscrew this to fill it so I just need to get a funnel then then somehow lift this heavy pale I want to do this [Music] is this funnel going to work work got to guesstimate 32 oz thinking about filling a soda with a soda fountain I know how long that [Music] takes about 3/4 screw this cap on go put this in the garage shed I just read the directions and it says no more than 2/3 full I kind of guessed that I got lucky all right hand tight let’s Wheels get put on with the tires I have the opportunity to use my new tool let’s clean these brake calipers real quick cuz I won’t be able to get them with these wheels not going to do anything crazy but just wipe them down with some brake cleaner this car comes with really nice brakes from Factory see this can is already paying off to have I’m looking at these brake pads and they got quite a bit of life left these back ones are real dirty nothing crazy like we’re ceramic coating them or anything but a little bit cleaner it’s a better job than I could do if the wheel was on trying to fight through the spokes [Music] just got back to the crib we got park on the Camry with us decided to make a side quest and invest in the channel Hudson my neighbors been helping with those rad roller all right first wheel let’s take a step back what do we think I don’t know it’s hard to tell till we set it down yeah it could look totally different lowered too really need the tires to be like jet black also that would help a lot I don’t remember the front being low like this you get the jack [Music] I do have some 10 mil spacers as well to throw on if these fit okay so would look even better but I wanted to make sure that we don’t have any issues this is also the day well the S4 auction just ended it sold for 39,000 which is awesome that’s like a price where labor Parts the car cost on the used Market retail it’s a $50,000 car would cost someone to do it so my thought process is like well you know the right person will pay close to 40 but getting that locally is hard but I’ve never done cars and bids but I’ve been working with Jeremiah with jumbo Motorsports to help get this obviously and he’s opened my eyes to the whole Auction World and man did that payoff we found the right owner he stoked about it he saved him a ton of money and parts labor most importantly time it’s just a win-win win doing an auction like that and Jeremiah handles the logistics with title tax shipping the whole nine makes it so easy helps us get cars so we can do a car or two extra per year you know like me and Parker right now so just super cool experience and uh I’m excited for this car to get black erors that were powder coated on the S4 but those might have looked if they were brand new powder coated like fresh glossy it might have matched the black trim that’s very much there on this car this grade look looks so much better on previous gen cars but these new Jens I feel like this color scheme is much harder to pull off feel like that’s what’s messing this [Music] up honestly I don’t think it looks bad at all no and it matches my new aluminum jack stands that weigh literally nothing I splurged on these low key off the radar and these are very worth it I think it would look pretty dank once it’s low yeah with the springs on it might be gas get some Springs and clean up the tires I think it look good honestly well do yeah once it’s shining and all this bird poops off here and stuff I’m wondering do the black lug bolt covers look whack do they look cheaper I have this honestly yeah well even better I have spacers and black bolts that are longer and looking at it I mean maybe just throw the spacers on right now or I wait till I get the hubcentric Rings that’s the smart answer that’s the smart answer so let’s let’s raw dog it no lug bolt covers for now cuz I don’t really like how it looks I don’t like it either yeah it looks really it makes the hole look way too big I definitely think it would like look more like exotic if you had some like gloss black wheels or something on it mhm but I don’t think it makes it look cheap I mean it could I hated these but this actually I think might have helped yeah cuz it kind of goes with the lip yeah yeah actually does like match I’m wondering how sick some uh New Gen like RS3 Wheels would look on this not in the budget not in the budget so now we need to clean out the interior and the AC and then we can go sweat other cars they’re one of my favorite wheels of all time for any of the Volkswagen Audi cars the Simplicity of them they don’t bring out the most luxurious version of the car or high-end look but they bring out the most simp istic look to it and I like my cards to be simple everything in my life design-wise is very simple so I just really find myself gravitating towards these wheels for any reason that I can like the 1552 on the Focus ST and the RS the Simplicity of those wheels just really does it for me so they feel like this is the Volkswagen Audi version is it a lot of people’s favorite no but these alzor wheels from ECS one of their in-house Brands they’re easy to get they’re affordable if you bend one break one it’s not a big deal you just order another one the fitments are all the right specs they’re just good wheels that look nice they’re simple and I can run them and not stress about damaging a really expensive set of wheels cuz I like to drive and not really think about it and have a piece of mind that’s just my style so these work for me and if they’re not your cup of tea that’s totally okay these are the wheels that I had from the S4 I thought I was going to put them on there I ended up getting a darker color in the mail I was like I’m going to hold off and run the 034 Wheels than I had these sitting here and then this car showed up I was like perfect I haven’t
