to be the highest paid Talent on ESPN by just doing First Take and NBA Countdown you’re probably going to have to make some shows for ESPN plus they’re trying to boost ESPN plus up so whatever you can contribute you got the Stephen A Smith show they’re going to start using Clips on ESPN and they’re giving you promotional opportunities on first take they’re putting your podcast on the ticker screen so I wouldn’t be surprised if ESPN is like all right we going to give you this extra money but we going to own 50% of the Stephen A Smith show it’s not going to be just something you can do away from ESPN you going to have to follow the complete script of ESPN on your podcast so I know Stephen A on the show he kind of goes in different directions but again if they going to give you all that money they going to have to own a piece of your production company whatever the case may be they going to find ways to double whatever they’re giving you they going to give you 20 to 25 million per year they got to make at least 50 to 60 million off you per year it can’t just be breaking even ESPN is at a point to where they laid off a lot of Talent last year and the year before and just over the last few years they’ve been doing layoffs but we seen the major one where Max Kellerman got the boot Van Gundy Mark Jackson you remember that wave that they had where they were just letting people go so Stephen A Smith man if you want that money you going to have to bring a lot more to the table even though yeah technically he’s worth it he works hard Flagship show ESPN First Take the reason why a lot of people are going to ESPN Monday through Fridays is because of Stephen A Smith he got the executive producer role so he’s doing a lot for them but again what kwami is saying they going to give you that money just be prepared to work 10 times harder do a lot more of the type of things so we’re going to see what happens but in my opinion if he did turn down that 5e 90 million and he wants 25 million per year I think they’ll come to a middle ground you want 25 here go 21 here go 20 million take it or leave it and there’s no other companies out there that are reaching out to Stephen A Smith like that as far as competitors I don’t think he’s going to Fox Colin coward and Skip that’s about all they going to pay they not paying anybody else like Stephen A that’s too much money they’re
